Its a so important massage in our days where people are deeply divided; in essence we are all connected. The Order gives you the oppertunity to experience this connection in your self.

after a lot of looking around at different esoteric orders, i believe i am ready to seek out an involvement with the rosicrucians. once i finish my own personal readings i look forward to making contact with this group n my area. let me just say, it's not easy seeking out a legit mystery school, there are so many fakers out there, but i feel like the RC is one of the more trustworthy groups.

    Additional:
Therefore given this is the definition of choice, how then, can we either identify the mystic or the product of mystical experiences. To that end one ought to draw one's attention to the operative word in this definition which is “knowing”. Therefore, the mystic accordingly would be an individual who at any given moment or era produces previously undiscovered knowledge in any given fields of intellectual inquiry, more specifically through means other than conventional, or through independent abstraction that tradition would not permit.
Mysticism is often synonymous with the term “mysterious” or mystery, which could be characterized as a linguistic fracture resulting (from a historical perspective at least) in religious, philosophical and scientific incongruity. As one might expect, when one applies this definition to the history and development of mysticism, it is not difficult to see that it has become exponentially less mysterious, (as should be the case in the evolution of an intelligent species) Ironically enough largely due to mystics.
This definition presents a number of questions among which are, under what other names are mystics recognised or accepted, even though contemporaries may not apply that specific term. I would suggest genius, prophet to name but two, and I would also stress, with no causative factors associated with their respective institutions, for reasons which can be examined in detail in another piece. This is not to suggest that the mystic possess exclusive ability, on the contrary. Such would be as much a product of all progress intervals which preceded them as much as the higher brain function with which they selectively engage.
Incidentally, higher brain function and training is quite simply a contradiction in terms whether a tradesman or professional. No amount of politeness is going to change that fact. All one can do is recognise the fact if one is to progress.

From my own experience: AMORC is authentic Rosicrucian order.
From reading: CR+C is also fine.
They have the same roots. AMORC has publications written in modern language (good for foreigners like me), CR + C uses the original publication, written in older English. The differences are most likely cosmetic.
You can try both if you want.

I am very curious to have this questions answered by a smart mystic, both sound good , but I have been more familiar with the Oceanside group & got the Book Cosmo Conception from my Mom , who got that book from the Oceanside group , is there a difference between theses 2 groups of Rosicrucian's ???

Much better than some of the previous videos. Much greater production value. H. Spencer Lewis was a firm believer in the power of the moving image to present and explain metaphysical concepts and teachings. Perhaps some of the older productions could be digitized and shared. I can remember seeing them at the old NYC Lodge quite a few years ago. Ralph Lewis lead many expeditions to sacred places with a film crew in tow. That's one tradition that should be revived as well. I'd gladly offer my services to the English GL if required.

Whenever one puts pen to paper or draws breath to communicate with another, one must always and without exception, define ones terms precisely, coherently and with respect to a consistent and demonstrable frame of reference. Using these principles I would offer for consideration, a brief critique of the above AMORC video presentation, starting with a term with which I have had most experience and exposure, which is the concept of the mystic or mysticism.
The most intelligent. indeed the only intelligent definition of mysticism I have encountered to date is simply “the art of knowing”. This definition of mysticism (unlike any other) lends itself perfectly to scientific examination, both from contemporary and historical perspectives.

    Hi, this video is great.
First, I want to say that I'm South African and see myself as a Christian.
I do like elements of this order so far.
However, I'm confused after looking on other pages, and
some say it's satanic, or has satanic elements in it,
some say it's an occult, but not a religion?
it appears that it's totally acceptable by Christians, but to some, it's not.
there are odd symbols of the order that looks secretive. and a bit dodgy,
if this is a secret society, why is it so easy to join, and there's a website etc?
If someone can help with these questions?
I'd like to know more about this order.
    G.T.

      @orangeandyoghurt Před 10 lety +21

      Hello Gerdes,
I had the same questions. I've been a member for several years before I learned that there are actually many orders who call themselves rosicrucian orders and claim to be the original/oldest/what not. I have nothing against other rosicrucian orders per se, but I was shocked when I found out that many of them have aspects and elements which I do not support, e.g. very expensive membership fees and satanic or sexual rituals in the temples. AMORC has nothing to do with those! Consequently, it is important to check the exact name and symbols of the order, so for AMORC the triangle pointing downwards with a loop at the top side and in the triangle a cross with a red rose in the middle.
AMORC is not a religion; it encompasses members of all kinds of religions and beliefs and also non-believers. They also make clear that it is also not THE way to gain access to mysticism, but it is A way. So I guess it depends on how narrow and strict your religious beliefs are. If you have a very narrow and strict understanding of your belief, then you might not accept some of the contents. They do follow principles, but nobody tells you what to belief. You are also asked to think critically about the contents and to pick only what you can accept as good for you. So you receive informations - what you do with it is up to you. =) And should you not like it at all, you can cancel the membership at any time.
I hope that helps, greetings from Germany! As far as I know you can always email the order nearest to you and ask for more information.

    • @burtjames7185
      @burtjames7185 Před 9 lety +18

      Hello Gerdes,
You are wise to inquire first - As you can see from the fanatical attacks on the Order from Henry Tretault above -ignorance, hate and fanaticism runs wide among the ignorant - one example - the hexagram mentioned in his diatribe is an ancient Greek sacred geometry symbol - derived from Pythagoras - Not a masonic one - and for the record, the Nazis killed somewhere between 20- & 60,000 masons, along with Jews in their death camps
Secondly the term "Occult" means hidden = like a occult fibia in medicine, or Mars that are occult (hidden) by the moon at a certain stage - fanatics see everything "hidden" as of the devil - poor souls
The essence of the mystery schools, is a search for the science of the soul, the integration of the soul and spiritual growth. Unfortunately the ill-educated do not perceive any spiritual approached outside their own religion, and everything not understood must then of necessity be of the devil.
The fact that mystery schools has been going since at least 6 centuries BC, and are still going strong, might be an indication of the perennial value they give to mankind
(The great mystics of all ages has given us our current knowledge - Plato, Socrates, Pythagoras, Aristotle, Jordano Bruno, Galileo Galiley, Johannes Kepler, Isack Newton, Albert Einstein - where would our civilization be without them ? )
May you be blessed on your quest for the mystical elements of the soul - keep searching
Regards - a Fellow Pilgrim on the Way

I will gladly assist you as I stood in the shoes where you stand now. It's very confusing, but once you understand, it makes perfect sense. All these, religions, aka, philosophies are the same in that they seek "self promotion." Rosicrucians, Freemasons, Illuminists, Club of Rome members, Luciferians, Skull and Bone, etc...they're all the same. They feel that Christianity is a restriction to thy self, and that through alchemy and black magick, they can transfer themselves into gods and use energies to gain desired outcomes. Jesus, of course, knew of these kind and their popularity and that's why he clearly states that the ONLY unforgivable sin is "Blasphemy against the Spirit" (Matthew 12: 31-32). Calling yourself or saying that you can "transform" into these godlike states is what Jesus was talking about. Hence, the number of "secret" societies that promote these idiocies.

Don't get confused with what people say and the truth. All religions practice ritual and meditation with symbols. If one thinks God is not bigger and more magnificent than the KJB Bible then this planet is doomed. The Bible is a very magical and wonderful book of truth but listening to fear mongering comments will never let your ears be circumcised or your eye Peirce the veil. If you want to know the truth and allegory of Balaam read the story for yourself. If you can tell me what the white stone Jesus talks about in Revelations is and who and what the bright and morning star is I cannot take your words for truth. After all God says in Isiah 45 " I from the light and I create the evil" So once you realize that Then just ask only God and Yourself Why. Take other people's words into consideration but if they are shooting judgment immediately it's prob half true at best.

People understand only what their consciousness is able to receive at that time. For such people, simple religion and its dogmas are a sort of spiritual play-pen in which to keep them safe. It's frightening to think of how strong willed such people are, and of the havoc they could wreak if not for those dogmatic constraints?

***** the bible also has been translated incorrectly multiple times and is meant to be read metaphorically but idiots teach it literal. plus books that were suppose to be put in the bible were kept out. instead of blindly believing in something you should research your religion. the bible is a pile of shit because of politics. look up constantine and the council of Nicea

Depending on where you live, Todd, you may want to visit a local group. Some activities are open to non-members and will give you a taste of what is being discussed and practiced. If you're ready to join, by all means, please do so!

If you are a philisophical and educational organisation then why do you swear an oath on the bible or the religious text of that region upon initiation? I don't expect a honest answer as in that oath you also swear to lie rather than reveal the truth.
You also fail to mention the Rose and Crosses Babylonian roots, but then what would I know, I am not a "illumined one".
