You make me realize how blessed I am that my husband would not let me move right away to GHANA but he wanted us to prepare well. We have been waiting since 2018 building our house buying our farm land shipping things and tying up loose ends we have here in the states. I am from the United States and my husband is from Ghana he has been here for so long and we are now in our 50s ready to move to Ghana and start a new season of our life the Lord willing! I am definitely planning to start my CZcams channel Documenting our journey I pray I will get to see you when you come back to GHANA God bless you and have a safe trip

I think Kevin really blossomed while in Ghana as far as being in front of the camera! And being such a hands on dad! The camping trips, teaching Micah to be more independent ( mama doesnt have to wipe his b**t), encouraging the fearless SJ! Ghana has been very good for the Acheampongs! The family connections made in Togo as well. Your aim was to put Ghana on the map, but you should us all how to be a loving resilient family during a pandemic! So now THE Acheampongs ARE ON THE MAP! It' s difficult to leave Africa. The warmth, the welcoming and kind people, the nice natural beaches, the natural falls, the food, drinking fresh coconuts in the street, oh God, help us return home to build Africa.
Living in Europe, or in America with the winter coming, it's going to be tough for all of us.
Thank you Anna, Sophie-Jane and Kevin for this video and for taking us every time with you when you go places to places.
It' s very sad to see you leave Ghana. All of us subscribers have become in a sense your extended family. Together in Ghana, Together in Netherlands.

At times, things can be very frustrating especially trying to adjust to the way of living and mentality so I get it. I always have to remind myself not to expect too much or try to live that westernized lifestyle each time I go back home. You live and you learn. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for you guys!

When reality sets in, no one will tell you to move back. Not easy to live in a developing country especially if you were born and raised in an advanced nation.
@Ike Naija you are right. With money you can live comfortable anywhere on earth. The systems don't work in Africa. Police take bribes, customer service is poor, civil servant take bribes, traffic is horrible, hospitals are bad and there is too much chaos and lawlessness. But with cash, you can bribe your way through every situation. No barriers, no boundaries and no limitations. That makes Africa sweet. With cash you are a king above the laws

Once an African person touches African soil there will be a yearning in your heart to always want to go back. I am born and raise in the U.S. but once I visited Nigeria some years ago, it just touches your soul and that yearning stays in your heart to go back to the motherland. Once you get back to the Netherlands you will feel in your soul. You also should bring it to people's attention especially the political people in the Netherlands to see what they could do for reparations to the Ghanian people.
