Dave really kicked some on Kick the Chair! Of course not as flawless as it was back in the day on Blackmail the Universe tour, but I was surprised. And Skin o My Teeth sounded pretty balanced in terms of volume after that, cool.
Have seen Megadeth dozens of times since '83 and while Dave has had issues with drugs and cancer and even age, he sounds really good here. Huge Metallica fan but love Megadeth, room for both, makes for a better musical life. Different bands, man. Really miss Kiko but Teemu is sooo good! No loss in Sonic Impact. Respect, all day. 🔥🎸🤘

I may not always agree with things Dave says or does, but the music stands the test of time and I’m glad he was able to overcome his health issues and come out on top. He still sounds great.
Megadeth is so energetic with the current line-up; rhythm section by Dirk and James is pumping, Teemu has mastered all styles of previous lead guitarists, Dave is Dave so good in rhythm guitar. Saw them in Tilburg at 013, really crush the world with this amazing setlist. Good to see the godfather of thrash metal, he is still at the top.
On les a vu à Paris cette année , c’était un concert incroyable. L’énergie en live est ressentie x 1000 et c’est vraiment un groupe de scène. Dave a retrouve légèrement sa voix depuis l’année dernière et il se bat donc bravo à lui

I disagree. Teemu has passion and energy when playing the guitar and transmits that essence to the public, for me he has been one of the best choices of the band. I think Kiko was not wrong when recommending it. He and Marty have been among the best, without detracting from the other guitarists who have participated in Megadeth; each has given the best of themselves, but Teemu Mäntysaari is awesome
Dave is a mad genius, to see him still playing, and singing effortlessly is amazing. A credit to this mans diamond will. I couldn't mimic a fraction of his skill, and I've played guitar for a while. Hats off to Dave. 🙂

Killer set. First show I’ve watched with Teemu and it’s awesome. To my ear the last dude was always playing the old songs just a little wrong, talented as he was, but Teemu is dead on. So nice to hear less mid tempo stuff like sweating bullets, hell yeah.

Listening to Megadeth 40 years, hands down one of the most talented metal musicians ever. To sing And play those complex riffs and rythms is amazing. Not many tribute megadeth bands around that just shows how good they are. Seen them many times and my jaw drops. To be still doing this after 40 years with all of his issues is a testament to the man. Dave Mustaine is a genius... A legend... and ok the voice isnt as good but thats ok it suits the music...
Yes but his vocals live weaken the music! I love Megadeth and have seen them over 6 times but Dave's vocals in later years just bring the songs down! The band is tight but his vocals live bring it down! James on the other hand has a great voice still but you can debate if the band is tight especially with Lars and his drumming! Even before he had the throat cancer his vocals were not up to par! Still love Megadeth and always will! If I see them live again its always the music and musicianship and always expecting Dave's vocals to not be there entirely! Just my thoughts!

Yes but his vocals live weaken the music! I love Megadeth and have seen them over 6 times but Dave's vocals in later years just bring the songs down! The band is tight but his vocals live bring it down! James on the other hand has a great voice still but you can debate if the band is tight especially with Lars and his drumming! Even before he had the throat cancer his vocals were not up to par! Still love Megadeth and always will! If I see them live again its always the music and musicianship and always expecting Dave's vocals to not be there entirely! Just my thoughts!
