- In May 2021, missiles from Israeli jets struck and completely demolished four towers in Gaza - that is a fact. What was not clear was the reason for the attacks. Why were these buildings selected for destruction?
Israel claimed the towers were used by Hamas, whose military wing was launching rocket attacks on Israeli towns and cities at the time. Local Palestinians in Gaza, as well as international media and political leaders, disputed this and maintained that the towers housed only businesses, residential apartments and media organisations, including Al Jazeera Media Network and American news agency The Associated Press.
This film charts the story of the attacks - from the 60-minute evacuation warning to the question of the cost of rebuilding - and seeks to establish why these towers were singled out, bombed and destroyed.

I’m 36; Canadian. … up until few weeks ago, I’ve never heard of these tragedies. Only of our “own” and we certainly don’t see this on our news. Everyone knows what we see “war on terror” and “they are the bad guys”. I also had the luxury of growing up in CDN - and in a city where it has always been welcoming to every religion and race but I never asked anyone “what brought you here” of fear of offending: but I wish I did because maybe I’d understand more then I do. I do not watch Al Jazeera as I am from southamerica. However in this war, when I see one side letting the other side know of an incoming attack allowing innocent civilians to run away and live... that speaks volumes .. as opposed to the other side that just sent a thousand missiles, attacked civilians at their homes without warning and took prisoners civilians! There, I can see who is good and who is evil. May God help the good ones with all His power and protection!

Well, I live in hope---I often think that nations can chose the hard path of dialogue, handshakes, mercy and forgiveness, but I am often disappointed. I anticipate that Israel will disappoint once again, they will chose vengeance over dialogue, that much is clear, now that they've "declared war" against Palestinians....
However, I have this terrible foreboding feeling that Israel will fall for the laid strategic and political traps --- and send ground troops to Gaza and West bank, and once those troops are in there, there is NO GUARANTEE that they will know what to do, other than fight like anyone else would to save themselves...

So you just sit back and take this sort of behavior. The live in a walled city, they are not allowed to leave the city but through several check points that are funneled and tough to get out of in time for work, social or other occasions. Do you want your children to have to live this way?

Why odd? The bombing didn’t start only on that night. The press were there documenting a regular Israeli assault on Palestinians, exposing Israel’s brutality, its constant attacks on innocents, their evil drive to destroy their lives and homes.
