Fantastic video, Jeremy! Such important stories to be told. Thank you! PS. At 9:21 is a photo of me working with Diana. For those who read my essay in Issue #2 of the Port Townsend Maritime magazine... that's the day I was holding the "dumb end of the plank." LOL
Very cool. Very informative. I would not have guessed that so many people had just chosen to do this, as opposed to being born into it or something similar. Very well done piece, and very inspirational women.
Excellent video. There is no reason a woman can't do anything a man can do, and often do it better. Some men are stronger sure, but some men aren't as strong as some women so that doesn't mean anything. There is nothing to prove, just do what you love to do.
Sure, plenty of shipwrights have made their way into the trade without going to a boat building school. It's not an easy path, but if you're set on it, there are ways.
I’m so proud of you gals ladies !!! I worked in the electrical trade it was always nice to see females working in our trade.
Love hearing about PT, such a great place.
An uplifting video, one I will share, with your permission.

I think we all hope the boatyard goes on for a very long time. Nice video!

Such an amazing film - loved hearing the stories of how you all got into boatbuilding, and your encouragement to other women. @womeninboatbuilding
Love watching Leo's Tally Ho films showing work around Port Townsend.
