Ya I been to all those famous cheesesteak recipes in South Philly not all they think they're cracked up to be. I found the best steak cheese recipe just north of Philly in New Jersey and this joint was all broken up. But I will say it was the best I've tasted. And I've been around, Connecticut never had a cheesesteak there but it looks like it's going on. Nice post.
If that sub is a reference to Beanie Sigel, then it's got to be damn good. That's a hard hitting rapper so you have to do right by naming a sub after him. I'd definitely get that one.

Theyre bringing the essence of philly to Connecticut like that. That kind of hoppin atmosphere, great service, amazing food to the point where theyre shipping ingredients in from philly for that authenticity, and to top it all off theyre right across the street from Yale. Theyre a goldmine right there.
I work at Jersey Mikes in San Clemente, CA. We fire🔥 with our cheesesteaks. Add some catsup and pickles. Onions and sweet bell peppers. We have a store across the street called “Phillys Best”. Customers from Jimmy J’s and them have converted. 🙏

I question the authenticity with the yellow cheese..proper Philly cheese is Cooper Sharp or white American as the cheese shouldnt glisten. ( I know there is a growing cheese whiz faction..yikes)..Daym go to Philly and visit Delesandros..please dont get caught in the touristy Pats vs Genos thing. Keep up the fun reviews.
