- I paid $62 for sports cards collection from Goodwill’s online auction platform Shopgoodwill. The reason I bought this lot sports trading cards (baseball cards, football cards, & basketball cards) was because I saw l saw some pretty nice sports trading cards on the listing. I kinda made a risky purchase here with not a lot of info to go on before making this sports card purchase…Let me know if you think it was worth the cost?!

Merry Xmas man! Awesome box! My favorite gift of all time has to bein 1989, my dad and grandpa handed down their sports card/ postage stamp collections which were pretty extensive and very valuable, in it was the first us postage stamp, 1 ty cobb tobacco card, 74 52 topps cards including a torn and folded faded willy mays, and complete topps baseball and football from 1972-1987, and basketball from 71-72-78-79, and last but not least 2 topps gretzky rookies, and 2 o-pee-chee rooks. Plus lots of memorabilia which I spent the next 11 years going through and cataloging only to lose it ALL when I was in the army in Afghanistan and my ex wife took off on me and let my storage lapse...I sob nightly😢

When I was a kid, we were driving to my grandma's for Christmas. My parents told me this large gift was for grandma, an ironing board. Instead, for the last present my parents told me to open it. It was a brand-new Hyperlite wakeboard. So cool.

Hey Jeff! I pretty much only do the bidding auctions on shopgoodwill. I have never seen anything but junk with the buy it now option, except one location that I can't remember off the top of my head, but they over price the buy it now price by like 200-300%. I hope this helps and thank you!

That would be impossible because this is all staged obviously....no one finds these deals through Goodwill.

Why would someone donate this many good cards in such good condition,. to Goodwill? I find it very hard to believe that someone collects this many cards, keeps them in good condition and then just gives them away. Seriously???

Yep, there isn't a hint of junk wax commons anywhere. Anytime I see a sports card Lot at a Goodwill, it's 99% junk wax commons....come on, you gotta make this a little more believable
I’ve gotten even better cards from thrift stores . People don’t know what they have sometimes. I’ve gotten a lot for less than $30 at a Savers years ago and made $100s off of it
There are a bunch of good deals on shopgoodwill.com weekly. I buy 10-15 lots per week from sgw, hibid, fb, and other places like that and highlight my top two each week on the channel. That being said, what Bigleo said is very true but goodwill also purchases bulk lots of stuff that they resell on shopgoodwill.com as well. I hope that helps!

I go on their online platform shopgoodwill.com and look at their auctions for sports cards and buy lots there. I typically buy them from locations where I have to have them ship them to me.
