@@BrianStormy instead of asking over and over, i think it would be better to be more engaging and more straight to the point. the clear asa keycap segment added nothing to the overall video, you point out obvious things and it's boring. for example "akko's hand lubed switches are pre lubed...i use the knob for volume control..." i already know that. I find you often drag out things too much with bland statements and thoughts as well. You talked about the flex buh you didn't show it. This is a video, not a podcast. I wish you could've modded or document the building process rather than talk about it. Overall i find the video to be very bland and it's kinda hard to watch.
Sorry if i sounded harsh, but harsh comments usually come across and leave more of a impact than nicely packaged "trying to be polite" comments messages.

those cherry screw ins were kinda so-so. i owned a mod005 (v1) and was kinda disappointed with the typing experience. felt kinda too thin without tape or pe foam and too thick with it. I'm pretty excited to get my hands on one of these
I am having trouble installing the knob. Whst should i do?
just got mine with akko cs sliver switches and it sounds nice and clacky

can you please share the dimensions for akko mod 008 the width and height of the case. height should be minus the keycaps height. I needed to buy a wrist rest and my 008 is in transit and will take time. akkos website does not mention the dimensions at least I was not able to find it. I need to buy the wrist rest in the mean time.
did you notice any ping? I didn't hear any in the soundtest and I don't know if it's like that irl. it is a sexy-looking board though and I might get it.
Edit: Did it come with a hex screwdriver or do you have to get your own?

I've got this board on order. Just gotta wait almost 2 months for delivery :( Can't wait to build it though!
My favourite switches so far are Akko CS Starfish. When lubed they are sooooooo smooth omg.

Hello! I bought the same keyboard and I'm building a custom keyboard for the first time. Why is it not needed to screw in the polycarbonate plate on the pcb as opposed to the metal plate? thanks in advance!
The mounting points are used to secure the pcb and plate together, but they also create stiff points around the board. For the aluminum plate, it doesn't matter as much since it is already kinda stiff, but for the pc plate, you don't want the mounts taking away the flexibility that the pc plate has. Hope that helps!

The Akko switches negate the interference for some reason idk

I don't have a small scale but it's pretty hefty. Not light for sure
