    Would bike mileage be a factor when installing this kit? For example, would the bike be more reliable with the SC installed at 10,000 km versus 30,000 km? These engines are robust and take some serious abuse but I know adding forced induction to an older car engine usually ends badly.

    I wouldn't mind one of these kits for my 2018 Hayabusa. I like the idea of dropping a tooth off the rear sproket. I'm due for a new clutch, so it's probably time for a Supercharger and a quickshifter also. Do you supply the ECU's?

    • @TTSPerformance
      @TTSPerformance  Před 3 lety

      A charge cooler with a prerad to cool the water was thought about but space is limited. Water pump, expansion tank , pipework etc etc. Price point would not make it viable. Highest temp I have recorded at the top end of the 1/4 mile was 60 deg C. That’s damn good for non- intercooled.

      @@TTSPerformance Not a bad temp number,what was the ambient temp,15-20 C?If so,here in Hungary now we recorded 37C!!!..if i was in your place,i make a simple home made water injection kit..nozzle location befor your plenum,a small caffee machine water pump(exist 12v version),and, a small bottle(0,5L) for water,or fill it full,and use the oem coolant reservior(or set up another one on the another side of radiator) with low level indicator led..set a rpm swich for 10.000 rpm(start point),and done..the system activated only on upper rev range,protect the engine from detonation for sure.Cheap,simple,work great!..but like i say,its my way..

      @@TTSPerformance Yeah,on cbr the place very limited..have seen a 675 daytona with under tail section placed water pump,heat exchanger+ fans..maybay you have place under headlight,fix it horizontaly+fans..
      Or search a place for heat exchanger on both side somewhere under the bike,location like the vyrus 987 bike have..

    • @TTSPerformance
      @TTSPerformance  Před 3 lety +2

      So how much water pressure are you going to get? You have to fight boost pressure to get any spray. You would need a map switch as a fail safe if the system failed or ran out of water. I'm familiar with all forms of charge cooling and have used them. I'm not against them, they are all considered in my builds. But price point, practicality, efficiency, simplicity are all taken into account. You don't want to switch it on with rpm but at a preset boost level.
