Today I'm revealing more Fakemon art for the Hyrule Region, a Pokemon x Zelda crossover universe called Link Dimension! The Fakemon are inspired by the games Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, Breath of the Wild, and Tears of the Kingdom! If you enjoy Zelda, Pokemon, Art, and/or creative content stick around!

If you want to connect Rabloo and a Lord of the Mountain pokemon together you could go the same route as Carbink and Diancie, Diancie is a legendary pokemon that is said to be a unique, one of a kind evolution that rarely happens within Carbink, so having a Satori inspired legendary that's said to come from a Rabloo once every 1000 years or something could definately work
Very true! I also was waiting to see if LoTM returned in Totk to see if it has a different design or something
The same could be done with Pixi and a Mythical Pokemon Fairy Queen hidden somewhere within a secret Fairy Spring or something
this was my thought too!
Perhaps a pixi could evolve into a great fairy with a rare/unique evolution item; maybe even with elemental forms? Making the item a bottle would work conveniently to get one of each form and have a parallel to the games
@@bilsuart just in case you didn't notice, there's a tiny typo in Pixi's dex entry: "anywher" instead of "anywhere".
I like how Raival almost anagrams to Revali, and I think that was purposeful, so good job!
I also like how while the name refers to rivalling thunderstorms, it also works as a reference to how Revali was a rival to Link in Breath of the Wild!

I could definitely see Pixi being another multibranch evolution into a number of the more well known fairies, or evolving into a simple Great Fairy pokemon.
That's what I was thinking
Also genderd variants maybe? Like how the Horse God has a lot of characteristics of the Great Fairies, qhile being male.
Perhaps the final form could be Fairy/Ground, for the equine aspects.
Female could be Fairy/Water, due to how the Great Fairies have mermaid characteristics.
I like that, the eevee of this region
It would be cool if Pixi had a similar evolution gimmick as Eevee, being able to evolve into more than just one or two forms!
Also, Rabloo is definitely a favorite of mine. A little owl-bunny-moth creature that glows is the perfect Pokémon for me.
Rabloo is super cute. I love owls and owl Pokemon in general, so a blupee with the face of Rowlet is a guaranteed favorite.
I also really like how the bird is clearly based on Revealing but incorporates new inspirations and powers as well.
I had multiple ideas when you talked about Pixi and if it evolves or not:
-Evolving by catching a certain number of them like in majora's mask (this one could be an evolution for a stray fairy pokemon)
-Evolving with a certain amount of money like in botw
-Evolving by entering a specific fairy fountain like the fairy queen in wind waker
Btw, I'm hyped to see if you'll make a "spirit of a sword" fakemon like Fi and Ghirahim, it could be super dope
My current idea is making a Great Fairy evolution for Pixi but I want to make it look right. And I actually do have a Spirit Sword Pokémon in my Lore video :)
For a Great Fairy evo, I would consider basing it off Wind Waker's version primarily, while pulling in elements of other interpretations.
Or, perhaps basing it off Capcom's versions, as seen in Link's Awakening, the Oracle duo, or Minish Cap!
The only good Great Fairy design is the Wind Waker one :P

I really like the addition of seeing the lineart process for your videos! It's a small thing you wouldn't think gives much impact, but I think it brings a lot to the table! Seeing your process while working, what gets changed about a design in the artistic journey, seeing the mistakes or bad ideas that make you human...it's very interesting to say the least! I can't wait to see more in the future!!

I am fairy obsessed so Pixi is definitely my favorite. You're doing a great job designing everything! I would recommend making a map of the world at one point, maybe combining different zelda maps together. You never know, someone may try to make a fan game out of this.
The map is a very much behind the scenes WIP thing because I’ve never made a map before so I want to make sure it’s up to a certain standard for me personally :) thank you 😃

Raival would definitely be a contender for my team. It definitely fits the vibe of a 4th starter and is a nice departure from the usual fare for regional birds.
I feel like the peahat pokemon could have a dope third evolution based on the OOT peahats. huge and menacing. but still inline with the design of what you have here.
I just have to make sure I have enough mono types and not too many triple stage Pokémon, luckily there’s a mega-like mechanic so some of Hyrule’s Pokémon get those forms
Loving all of the forest-type -mon! I'd take any of them on my journey, especially the starter and Hatpea. I love simple plant looks for Pokémon; the first forms do this the most.

Rabloo and pixi were so well made and id love both on my team! I also really like that their futures are uncertain, really adds to the "im playing a new pokemon game and i have not checked any leaks" vibe.

I especially loved the plant pokemon. It’s use of climbing and it’s cute lore are such a cool touch to add to the region. The added bonuses and abilities of the other pokemon are also very creative and on point, good job! I always look forward to your videos, keep it up.

I'm really liking how each one has a battle ability and field ability. It would be a lot to program and balance in a real game but it really makes them each feel special and worth catching.
A thing to note is that people can completely disregard these if they want. I’m just trying to add to the project with stuff I would like to see in a Pokémon game :)
You know what make all these Pokemon so scary? it's that all the abilities carry over when they evolve, If this were to be an actual game i can imagine it's difficulty to be quite high.
Pixi is so cute! While it is the most simple of the designs, I think it does a good job of exemplifying the pokemon "look" while taking inspiration from Zelda games. Good job!

Im so in love w this project! Im always looking forward to the next video. Since you made a Mon based specifically on revali, is it safe to asume that most of the Major characters will get turn into pokemon? I love Twilight Princess and i can totally see an Imp Pokemon based on Midna, maybe her evolution could be something similar to Gardevoir/Hatterene to mimic her turning into her real form at the end of the game
Florage’s name also works with foliage, the tops of trees with full leaves. But I could imagine them all together making foliage.

Thanks! The main reason I didn’t on a lot of my other videos is that this footage was new and I didn’t have the footage for my other drawings. I plan to have them for basic videos like this

Making a Lord of the Mountain feels like a Carbink-Diancie situation. Make them feel tangentially related, but far enough apart that yeah, Blupee won't evolve into "Lorpeelex" (Lord, Blupee, Apex of a mountain).
Perhaps do the "skips an evolution" method? It's a concept where a Pokemon resembles another Pokemon but evolved once or twice. Like how Luvdisc would hypothetically evolve into _something_ that evolves into Alomomola.

For the Rabloo it may evolved to a "lord of the mountain pokémon" only when it reaches the satori mount at a certain level, like any other video, it's so cool, i love your work. and maybe add the Flying type to the Pixi

An idea for your Pixi pokemon. To evolve it you must visit a Great Fairy Flower after it reaches a certain level, creating one of four variants based on the regions such flowers can be found.

I don't know what you should do with the Lord of the Mountain pokemon, but if it does become the evolution of Rabloo, give it a good evolution method that's not too daunting.

been binging this series/playlist and man i really love how much thought you put into everything. even the designs im personally not a fan of i can still deeply appreciate because i can tell how much thought you've poured into them all. and they all feel like they perfectly fit into this world you've created! you've really done a brilliant job mashing these two video games together in a way that both retains the core essence of the source material while still being uniquely your own. your work is deeply inspiring and watching your videos has given me an itch to try making a fan pokemon game as a little challenge to myself as an aspiring game dev :-) anyway i think either rabloo or pixie would be my favorite from this set, although i also really love raival (i also REALLY love the name for this one). but im a big fan of more "cute" pokemon, and pixie and rabloo seem like pokemon i would immediately gravitate towards while playing haha

So, about Rabloo and the possible Lord of the mountain pokemon mon, there's one fakemon game out there that uses a system which I think is perfect for the situation.
Basically, there's a legendary bug type which you have to fight at some point. It is wild, but you can't capture it, instead it drops an item upon defeat that can be used on a common bug type fakemon to make it evolve into that legendary.
I think this way is perfect for the Lord since it cannot be registered at a stable, so it would make sense if you can't capture it with a pokeball.
Just an idea though, great vid as always! I especially loved Raival

You could do a convergent evolution Pokémon using the Seahats from Wind Waker. They can be water, sky types with two stages. The second stage can be what we see in Wind Waker, massive helicopter pufferfish, and the first stage can be a smaller, cuter version of it. Like what they did with Tentacool and Toadscool.
Another one I thought of is a Pokémon basted on Ghini as a mono phantom type. It was the original ghost enemy from the original Legend of Zelda and is used in most of the top-down games instead of the Poes.
Since fast land travel is already possibly covered by the Hyrulean Ponyta line, I believe there should also be Fakemon that allow for travel on water and in the air. I'm thinking the Fakemon for the former should be based on the King of Red Lions from Wind Waker, while the Fakemon for the latter should be based on a Loftwing from Skyward Sword, preferably the Crimson Loftwing that Link had in that game.

In regards to Pixi and the Revali inspired mons, I could definitely see there being a wide variety of color varients like with Basculin, Vivillon, the Flabebe line, Minior, or Squawkabilly. All the ones you've come up with so far are so cool.

I think that for the Lord of the Mountain Pokémon you would use a kinda Diancie and Carbink situations, it also says it in Rabloo’s entry “they seem to be related to and especially rare Pokémon” Plus it is a good possibility that the Lord of the mountain Pokémon would be a legendary Pokémon ‘cause there is only one in BotW
I enjoyed that one very much! Really love the idea of having (I assume) weak but rare utility Pokémon! It makes me think Legendary variations of those, with similar abilities but cranked up to 11 (aka broken tier) should exist- very cool!
Also, for the unofficial Sky starter idea……. I mean, Link Dimension Magma Red, Link Dimension Swamp Green, Link Dimension Thunder Blue lol
Alot of Pokémon have utility abilities, even the starters have them. For example Dekute let’s you plant Deku Seeds to harvest later, etc
The lord of the mountain screams a mythical or legendary Pokémon. Have it function like diancee for the bluepee Pokémon, so it’s related to the Pokémon but not a true evolution or treat it as an mythical/legendary evo line

Falco would be on my team definitely, probably all of these honestly, but that especially. I still play Starlink occasionally for the Star Fox content, and the original Star Fox was one of the first games I ever played.
As for the Lord of the Mountain the Dex entry has to do something with Iwata something like "It is said to bring about destruction and chaos, but also to indwell the reincarnation of a soul from better times" (the Keeper says something similar when you bring the Lord of the Mountain to a Horse Stable)
The "Reginal Brid" Chikito, sounds similar to Cojiro the blue, sometimes flying Coco... I kinda made that connection just now...
I think you got what pokemon games are always missing (and I fear will miss forever): the will of giving to each single pokemon a usefulness through the run, not just some collectable to achive a sense of completion. I love the idea to swap in and out different pokemon for different situations (climbing, collecting money, healing etc..) so damn cool!
I just always hate how in Pokémon some of them basically have no in game purpose. Like they are bad in battle compared to others and they don’t offer anything outside of battle. I also like actually rewarding people for collecting and exploring
A malice type Regi based on Calamity Ganon’s cocoon would be pretty sweet. Could even call it Regicide since it’s found in the throne room of Hyrule Castle.
With Tears of the Kingdom, Rabloo could evolve into the Froggy-like creatures in the caves, and require an Bubbul Gem to evolve,

Excellent video. It would be great if you did other color combinations with Pixi depending on the region where it is, just like with other fakemon from previous videos.
You could have the lord of the mountain be a similar Pokémon to Rabloo, like Diancie and Carbink, not an evolution but related, maybe he protects the area where all the Rabloos live

I feel like whatever you do with the lord of the mountain, it should be a unique Pokémon and the way to get it would have to be pretty special. I know in the lord of the mountain's lore it's the reincarnation of a sage, and the real life inspiration for it was Satori's death which the BoTW team wanted to memorialize, so death should probably be involved somehow, maybe it could even be half ghost type.
If you want it to be an evolution of rabloo, then maybe you need some sort of unique item that contains the spirit of a sage or something and the spirit gets fused with Rabloo. Or maybe there's a specific spot that if you take Rabloo to at a specific time they evolve. Or maybe if you get a bunch of Rabloo together under certain circumstances one of them will evolve. You could probably do a combination of all three if you wanted.
If you don't want to have rabloo literally evolve into the lord of the mountain, maybe rabloo could just summon/create the lord of the mountain somehow. Or maybe they could lead you to the lord of the mountain if you take them to a specific spot in the lost woods or something.
It's gonna be interesting to see how most of the enemies will be turned into Linkamon, especially the Dark Knuts.

It's ability to heal is just so unique and cool. I like the rare heal it offers in the wild, but even more the chance to make a Fakemon game with no Pokecenter what so ever, just a pool where you can catch a Pixi any time.

For Rabloo you can use the new frog 🐸 like creatures in Tears of the Kingdom for an evolution as when you kill the frog a Rabloo comes out

I love Pixi! I feel like it could have more variations in color, similar to Vivillon for example, since there are a bunch of different colored fairies in the Zelda universe (and even just in the Ocarina of Time Kokiri Forest, for example. Every Kokiri has a fairy of a different color).

At first, I thought that Raival was gonna be related to a Loftwing from Skyward Sword, considering how they're such a big part of the legacy of the royal family and all. It'd be cool riding on one as a ride Pokémon, but Ravali is good too, some nice Rito representation. A fun pokedex entry could be a reference to not knowing if the beak was a mouth or a nose!
