Question, how did the Pokemon GET to hyrule? I get that ganon used the sword but did they just appear or did they come through a rift? And if they did are there multiple Across hyrule?
@@abbeyfuad3028 basically some creatures that were already (mostly farm animals because this version of Hyrule was mostly normal before the Great Paradox) in Hyrule turned into Pokémon and some were kind of warped here though a dimensional rift. :)
Will you be makeing a malice system like shadow pokemon. Possibly blight ganon pokemon that that ganon could use himself

Personally I would have been fine either way with how the idea of Pokémon fused with Zelda was handled even if it was just slapped on, but the fact that you went out of your way to give an entire in lore reason for why everything is the way it is really shows your dedication and I have nothing but respect for that.

@@bilsuart In the thumbnail, I read it left to right. That worked for the "itse", but not for the "d" because it's not symmetrical down the center like the others. That's how I figured that the thumbnail is mirrored.

The lore in this region is nuts and it's existance is all thanks to Ganondorf. Learning about how these Sheikan artifacts works along with the catching mechanics is pretty cool.
I adore the new pokemon based on the signiture Hyrulean Shield and Master Sword. I was half expecting a regional Aegislash, but I love what you did instead.
Yeah basically Ganondorf was trying to do his thing but did something else instead and now everyone is Hyrule is having to adapt to it even him. This kinda gives me more freedom with things like items and unique takes on Pokémon. And yeah I think it not being a regional Aegislash makes it not feel like a cheap idea :)

Well Arceus and the creation trio are probably not too happy about this. Though it is interesting that the Sheikah collaborated with the pokemon world because they both saw this happening. Not that surprising given how the people of the pokemon world could easily travel the multiverse if they had any real interest in doing so.
So congratulations Gannondorf not only did you get the attention of immensely and unimaginably powerful lovecraftian entities responsible for creation, but the only reason they haven't collapsed your atoms is because folks from your world foresaw you pulling this stunt and took precautions.
Actually, I'm surprised they didn't just vaporize him regardless. Sure, the world has the means to deal with it, but that doesn't change the fact that the event itself was practically a huge, reality-altering issue that could've thrown the world into complete chaos.
Still, I quite like this narrative and it makes a lot of sense.
Maybe they want to see this new development play out.
@@BurstFlare most likely because the solution was already in place so their involvement wasn't necessary. If it wasn't for that they absolutely would have.
The thing is that you’re dealing with the complexity of divine forces. Technically, up until the Great Paradox, Ganondorf was only subject to the Golden Goddesses divinity. Even if Arceus and the creation trio could see him before that, they couldn’t do anything. They aren’t completely all powerful. Arceus is only god in the Pokémon universe. The gods of the Zelda universe, Ganondorf’s gods, are the Golden Goddesses and, technically, the goddess Hylia. He’s only subject to them, and the former hasn’t done anything since they created the world, while Hylia is currently in constant reincarnation as a human and thus, she doesn’t exist in a divine form.
This is literally my favourite content on CZcams right now, it’s so well made and I can’t wait to see the lore side of it all
I didn't really expect any lore, but it is a more than welcome inclusion, and it's really interesting too! Loving the mons as too, every single design you've made is very cool. Really love Spiritedge and Masterend, I imagine Spiritedge is one you would find early in the game that takes forever to evolve, but is oh so worth it when it finally does
Thank you! Yeah I would say Spiritedge is something you get 1/3 of the way through then it’s able to be evolves about 2/3 of your journey :)
I was wondering how you'd go about Link battling Pokemon himself as I was trying to think of how you could do it without it seeming a bit grim that you were actually beating up Pokemon yourself. Your explanation works well and also makes it to where you DO have to fight the pokemon so you can't just do it like Arceus and throw pokeballs at any wild pokemon to catch without a battle. Seems like it'd be an actual mechanic that Nintendo would implement so well done there. Another thing I like is that instead of simply being a blending of Pokemon and Zelda, the world was just a Zelda world until a cosmic mishap fused the two together which gives it a Hyrule Warriors feel where the crossover happens because of something in universe instead of it just always being there. It also makes sense that the Sheikah would have this stuff prepared considering they can see the future so I can buy this entire premise. I'd love to play this game considering I love Zelda and fell back in love with Pokemon recently (thanks to Arceus ironically enough). Something like this will probably never happen but you never know, maybe Nintendo will want to get crazy and actually do it. Though I guess more realistically, if this idea gained traction, I could see a Rom hack being made which I'd actually happily try out. Either way, this is a cool idea, you're putting a lot of thought into this and I can't wait to see more.
Thanks so much! This project is something that has gained me so many skills and it’s all stuff that I’m using for my own side project which is basically this but my own IP. I love the monster companion aspect of Pokémon but I also love the fantasy setting that Zelda has!
Aegishield and Spiritedge line feel like the new convergent pokémon and is neat. This concept is just so damned cool and I'd kill for a game like Legends naed on this. Just so damn awesome.
HERE WE GO I'm pumped up for this episode I'm really interested in the world building side more than the pokemon lol. But I do want to see those master sword and Hylian Shield pokemon just from the silhouette we can see they look great

Man I love Aegishield and spiritedge being inversions of the Honedge line where instead of stealing spirit from their user they share it that's such a cool concept paired with such amazing art
Ohh, I like how the Hylian Shield Pokemon's 'dog muzzle' also mimics the holes of a Ocarina.
And the colours on Spiritedge are gorgeousss!

Awesome lore overview! I think the story is completely believable as a storyline for a Zelda spin-off game. Awesome use of the familiar themes used in all Zelda games and I love the creation of the Great Paradox by Gannondorf. I think the "Gannondorf get's energized by the awakening of Link's Triforce" is a little convenient but still totally within the realm of a Zelda/Nintendo storyline. Another great job.
I just love the creativity of this concept, that can't be stated enough! I'm so excited to see the various temples and dungeons re-imagined as gyms!

Second, I love your lore building. Not only did you incorporate your own ideas, but fluidly meshed the concepts of the Zelda franchise (specifically with smaller details) with the Pokémon franchise. The artwork is yet again amazing and fits well into the world you are crafting. Your love for this concept definitely shows and I hope it continues to do so. This has all so much thought put in it! I'm also a fan of both Pokémon and Zelda and love what you're creating. Your designs give me very much a sense of polish and quality I'm used to seeing in a Zelda game or at least in official designs from a Pokémon game (the quality itself of the Pokémon games overall.. varies 😄)

I've been watching a lot of fakemon videos lately, and I gotta say, your designs are amazing. Both in their creativity and execution. Also, I'm glad your desigin for link has pockets, as it would be kinda weird if the concept of pockets didn't exist in this version of Hyrule.
Oooh Variant Impidimp!!! Yes please! Speaking of Variants I have been thinking about Spirit Tracks and been thinking about: what if you made a Golurk Variant, that would be based off the Phantoms? It's weak spot would be a crack in the back which he tries to protect at all costs and never show, because those who would be exposed to said crack would get the observer sucked in and be able to take control of the Golurk.
Wouldn't it be the train or tracks itself considering it is the spirit tracks? It would be a train golem!
@@andresmarrero8666 Nah. For the train I'll think of something else. For now I was more focusing about the Phantoms, and I mentioned Spirit Tracks because of the possession mechanic. And honestly it sounded cool to me cuz of Golurk's aforementioned scar on the torse except this time it would be in the back. Plus with Bilsu's concept of this new world, why not eh?
The train golems feels like they would be variants of Rolycoly because Rolycoly and Carkol line did suggest a train before Coalossal took on the appearance of a furnace Aggron.
It would be interesting to see some sort of blacksmith pokemon, since there’s no shortage of ways to strengthen the master sword in each game. I especially liked the link between worlds master ore, so perhaps a blacksmith pokemon made of this special ore who uses pieces of its own body to strengthen weapons and equipment. It might have an ability that increases the attack power of other pokemon that have weapons or are weapons. It could also be some sort of octorok relative as the other way you enhance your equipment in that game is the maiamais

I just want to say that this AMAZING and I absolutely love it! I do have an idea for Aegisheild and Masterend if you are ok with it. The idea is like, maybe something secret as if you have to follow a specific series of quests and when you complete it, you have a choice to combine Aegisheild and Masterend together into a secret pokemon that won't even be in the skeikadex! Like super secret! And I love the hidden reference in the Blade of Unity connected to you!

Also the overall inclusion of Hyrule Warriors in this fan project, from the artwork even the Warrior typing, and even including HW!Link's scarf on Masterend makes me so happy. I can not wait to see this project take off!

I love that you have actual lore for this. And the goddess/master sword pokemon are awesome. But for some reason, the little hand Materend has, paired with the dex entry saying it can harness the triforce, made me think that it can grab someone who holds part of the triforce and absorb it from them. Esentially letting the Masterend steal the triforce to be sealed away later, likely placed in the equivalent of the pedital of time.
I realize that probably wasn't the plan, but it's what popped into my head when i heard it.

Given that the sheika call pokemon spirits, and are not inflicted with terminal pokenamus, in which everything is called a pokething, i think it would make more sense to call it a spirit codex. It sticks to tradition without thoughtlessly copying it, which seems to be a concern of yours.
Also, I was really hoping the pokeballs would include some aspect of Hyrule's magic all purpose bottling technology.
The only thing I don't feel too good about is that you can just find the honegde line in the wild, it should be given like from a side or main quest
The Spiritedge line isn’t a wild encounter :) Honedge isn’t in this universe but you can think of the Master Sword line as a sort of convergent Pokémon!

I love the Sword Pokémon. The shield one is pretty cool too, but the swords really look great to me.

When I first saw a Master Sword Aegislash, I thought it was going to be one big reference to a Link to the Past. Just like in LttP, you would find fake Master Swords scattered around the forest, but when picked up, they would turn out to be an Aegislash!
It’s somewhat disappointing it isn’t that, but at the same time it’s probably better like this. The sword and shield should absolutely be separate.

@@bilsuart That's fair, if i'm being honest my first idea that came to mind after seeing your starter videos for this region was a regional variant of Aegislash, i agree it would have been kinda cheap to do it as the master sword and hylian shield, maybe instead it could be a fairy ghost type that is based off of the energy sword attacks that you make in the original game when you have full health, but overall amazing ideas for the new pokemon and the lore concept of having timelines work into it was a great touch to make the region uniquely yours

Ok now stuff is getting really interesting. Pokemon and Zelda mechanics fused sounds hella fun. Tbh if such a game would be ever created I would play it. (Actually there is a fakemon game where you also fight the fakemon with guns and such, but well... this Zelda-Pokemon-Crossover is far more interesting in my opinion.). Can't wait to see more. I've had the Link Dimension playlist playing while I worked on some puzzles, but I had to pause to write this. This is, without a doubt, one of the best Fakemon projects I've ever seen. I got into Zelda in 2020-ish when my friend all but demanded that I play BOTW, and I've been hooked since. I've only gotten the opportunity to play Skyward Sword, BOTW, and TOTK, but already the Zelda franchise has burrowed into my heart. This is such a detailed and expansive project, and I cannot wait to see more. So far, my favorite pokemon have been Centyrant and Ramrush, though I still need to get through a majority of the playlist. I'm beyond invested, and I cannot wait to see more!
P.S, have you considered having a bird pokemon inspired by the Loftwings or the Zonai Wings? I always thought the zonai wings had a face that seemed to resemble a snake more than a bird, and I'd love to see what you could do with that.

Aegishied is absolutely something that qualifies as a convergent aegislash. Funny thing is I do think changing its name would resolve this issue.
I love that you've made Spiritedge and its evolution convergent pokemon with Honedge.

Aegislash was the first Pokemon we all thought of when you started this project. You didn't go the obvious route.
I think your blade would basically evolve overtime due to being exposed to the energy, starting off as the sekiah blade and kinda evolving into spiritedge and masterend as you beat the boss legendaries, with aigisheild being required for its evolution to masterend.
I love your Zelda-Pokémon hybrid project, and I wasn't sure when you were counting back from regarding the existence of pokémon, but Pokémon games have been out since 1996, much more than just 20 years ago. Regardless of that, I am totally engaged with your project, and I hope you continue with this fascinating endeavor.

My favorite thing about the design of Masterend is when it is sheathed on Link's back, it could potentially be protective of him, using it's sash as a scarf to draw the parallels in design from the Hyrule Warriors version of Link.
That is a really cool backstory and interesting mechanics. This would be an awesome merge of two gigantic franchise. You really need to find a way to make this happen.
I *adore* the weapon designs! Especially the little Fi-themed ribbons for the first evolution, it's such a sweet little touch. Though this brings up an important question...where ARE the flames needed for Spiritedge? Or is that a secret to everyone - for now at least?

I'm all for sword and shield based pokemon! What might be interesting with Spiritedge, depending on how common you want that one to be (Can you find spiritedge all over? Is it legendary status and you can only have one per game?) is if there are two evolution possibilities, and one of them evolves into a sword more reminiscent of Ghirahim. Very interesting designs today nonetheless!
I wouldn’t call it a legendary per say but it is a one of a kind Pokémon. That might not make too much sense but when you see the actual legendaries you’ll see what I mean. This is more like a secret Pokémon. There are more than one Aegishield though!
I love this and would love to see a counterpart weapon for Ganondorf. Probably something inspired by the sword Demise uses or a trident that Ganondorf is also associated with. Or the swords of demise from Hyrule Warriors.

Even tho you definately have an Ocarina pokemon in the works or hidden in the files, I wanna share an idea I have.
Quokarina, The Ocarina Pokémon, a small rodent pokemon with the time/spirit type that has the ability to play tunes to its trainer and other people. It tends to like children and Kokiri more than adults, but its still friendly to all. It can make bubbles in the form of music notes that can make the opponent hit have time-stuff(tm) happen to them. Its ability is Time's Shadow, where if a sound based move used while in battle any most recent negative effects that landed on the opponent comes back.
Cabbeyera, Time/Spirit, The Temple of Time Pokemon, this pokemon has much stronger abilities to Quokarina, it still uses music to displace time however doesn't need to, just prefers it. It only trusts close friends, but is still fairly kind to all. However once its trust is broken it can never be regained. It's signature move is Sacred Transport it is basically the Time version of Dig and Fly, where it gets transported to the Sacred Realm, but gains a type that corresponds to one of the Sages that best suits the battle (If battling a grass type, it gets fire. If battling a water type it gets Grass. etc). If none of the Sage types benefit it then it gets it at random.
Quokarina (Quokka + Ocarina) and Cabbeyera (Capybara + Abbey [general term for Temple/church] + Era)

I notice you’ve made this Hyrule set into a state of moderate historical alteration, which is a very unusual state for both Pokemon and Zelda. Usually the turmoil only begins at the moment the game begins, or else has been happening for so long it’s become the status quo and people have grown up that way. Pokémon being such a new advent is interesting twist, which makes me wonder how some of the older creatures and evolutions have come to be, as well as how people’s integrations have become so normalized, like you mentioned with the bomb pokemon.
Either way, amazing work! I love the swords, the musical allusions especially. Would you make the intermediate evolution of the goddess Sword to have a base clef shape?

Oh this is a very good idea for the lore!
I thought it was gonna be a fusion of a usual Zelda story but adapted to a world where creatures like Pokemon exist, but making a "normal" Zelda story where the Pokemon came to exist due to an event and so the world has to adapt to them is even better!
