Trains at: Marholm, ECML, 15/07/22

- A very good afternoon spent at Marholm on the East Coast Mainline where we see plenty of services from London Northeastern Railway, Grand Central, Hull Trains, Lumo, Cross Country, East Midlands Railway and freight from DB Cargo UK, GBRF, Freightliner and DC Railfreight.
I haven't been here for a couple of years and for the life of me I can't really see why, this is a great spot of the ECML to come to especially when the weather is on your side. You get amazing views of the line going north and south as well as a fairly decent view of the line heading to Lincoln.

Another good video, nice to see that some variety remains on the ECML - can't say I'm a fan of the relatively dull 80x's that every operating company seems to be taking up!
Thanks very much bud, it is a shame that the railways are all headed in the same direction when it comes to their rolling stock. Would be nice to see something other than 80x series trains running around

Great video mate. Marholm is a lineside near Peterborough station. The NWT is 66747 'Made in Sheffield' and nice to catch 66004 the 'climate hero' you're going to Romford on the GEML
I do enjoy coming here, I should make more of an effort to come to spots like this across the network. I got very lucky with those liveries!
The 180 with the green stripe on it is actually 180112. The unit is formed as a hybrid of Class 180s 180103 and 180112.

very good variety at this spot; this bridge would've been even more helpful near the junction 😁
This spot does give you some great variety in traffic. I will try and get to Werrington Junction at some stage and see what I can do from there
😆the number for the NWT livery 66 is the same as plane type 66747
there's also a 158747, with GWR, now that it's reformed to a 2-car.

@Waltham Walker, because I've been a trainspotter for so long now I can recognise most trains for a far distance and when it comes to getting their numbers I know where to look in order to grab them, even at awkward angles

To access Real Time Trains, you simply search for it via the Internet and then you should be able to find it from there. It's more of a website than an actual app.
It's a website that you can open on your phone. Just open up your internet browser on your phone and type in RealtimeTrains, you'll then find it
