I remember this one weird instance where my family had quiches and a chocolate fountain for a party, and my sister dunked one of the quiches in the fountain out of boredom and ate it. She apparently liked that.
She also used to put peanut butter and mayo together with either bread crumbs or maybe oatmeal. Yeah, my sister made lots of odd food combos, and so do my friends.
I love how often Ashens and Barry collaborate, they make some entertaining videos.

Apart from they look absolutely nothing alike? Except perhaps Pegg once had a ginger goatie, about 20 years ago. And other resemblance is completely missing.
I sometimes wonder if the people who say this have ever seen Simon Pegg, or do they actually think Ashens of old IS Simon Pegg? Cos when I look at them, there's no resemblance at all. Not they eyes, nose, head shape, height, body shape, teeth, jawline.

What's nice is that the butterkists go all milky inside but keep their crunchy crispy shell. Another yummy thing I grew up with is Golden syrup on Yorkshire Puddings. Even Yorkshire folk sometimes haven't heard of that. They're lovely.

Milk chocolate and plain salted potato crisps are fantastic together.

As for more unorthodox food combos, one thing I tried was fish fingers and bacon in a sandwich. I was looking to up my protein before a workout (my local only does lunch until 3, and I don't wake up early enough to finish my gym sessions before the kitchen closes), so on impulse I decided to order fish fingers and bacon on white bread. It was alright, not excellent but not terrible. Though it DID give me a boost for the gym session that followed.

I have cheese with Christmas cake (fruit cake to most people)
I don't know why, I don't know when it started, and I don't know who gave me the idea or it was one of my own, but I now can't eat Christmas cake without a slice of cheese on.
And I can't have baked beans unless they've been cooked with a knob of butter in. But that's an easy one to trace, I liked the way beans tasted when they'd been on toast and the butter had melted. So I just put some butter in the beans instead, and now I couldn't eat them without it. Everyone I've ever made try it, has followed suit too. I bet anyone reading this, if they try it, they'd end up doing it all the time as well. It's a heavenly combo.
