D2 being 20yrs old, and still got huge content and playerbase. And its the game that got me in pc gaming. Was 7yrs old when i first played it and it was sooo scary to watch those cinematics 😂

@@hsandev8972 well they bring different things to the table. Both great. I love d1 for the single player, music, and atmosphere. D2 for the replay value in item farming. But, if you think D2 is scarier than d1 I'll have to disagree . D1 is much darker.

I love the analysis and breakdown of what the best possible stats are on each item. Some of us are casual D2 fans and don’t know the difference between a perfect unique and poorly stated one. Keep up the great work, Dbrunski!
I guess that is why Diablo 2 never end even if you play just single player. Yes, in single you can dupe it but finding a unique or set with a perfect stat takes tons of dedication time. Not just item, the build, the mercenaries. In the end, Diablo 2 will take almost all day all night long and it is addicting.

This brings me back when me and my brother were playing this game, sadly I was a bit too young and iliterate to play this. And yes catacombs scared the shit out of me, I picked every horrible skill combination known because I thought it looked cool.
Furthest I got was lv 60, blizzard sorceress, cuz our comp was dying.
My bro managed to get full Immortal king set with a friends help and then just gave up trying to collect any other set.
I played d2 for many many years but eventually gave my items away even a 1.08 arcanes which someone was very happy about. I found pretty much everything but facets were elusive to me. I only ever found a 3/3 poison level up. That's rng for ya. Just got into your videos and loving the nostalgia. Thanks for your great content!
The soj aside, pretty disappointing overall considering you had 700% magic find and did 1000 runs lol. Doesn’t give us casual folk much hope for pit runs lol

@@maxpowers5055 actually yeah, since my original post here I did some more research digging, 400 really is the sweet spot for mf. Anything more than that doesn’t really help odds much. I could even argue it may actually be hurting if sacrificing clear speed just to get that little extra.

Been running a Frozen orb Chain Lightning sorc. I can get her mf up to 398 and I run pits, Andy, Arcane Sanc, Duriel, Lower Kurast, Trav, Meph, Chaos Sanc, Shenk, Pindle and Worldstone with Baal. Been running that rotation for weeks and the only thing I can say I’ve been happy to find is an Arm Of King Leoric, THREE IK Mauls and a Vex. None of which dropped off a boss. All dropped from garbage monster packs. RNG is a c*nt

@@lazybeastz182 What do you mean? Ort is harder to get than a Zod rune in single player. Especially if you have a 3 socket shield with Ral and Tal runes in your stash/inventory.
That Enchant Ormus is the best armor when making a bearsorc.
Great video as always. your production is stellar. May i suggest to note that the item is tc87 when it drops, just for informational value. Also, looting two tc87's in the same run, even if one was set, is pretty sick. i cant recall to ever have done that myself. Cant wait for your reaction to dropping dweb and dfathom, when that happens.

One of my favorite(but useless) drops I've gotten recently is an ethereal Hellslayer. Naj's puzzler is also nice, got that the other day and think I may use it as a tele staff for my zon or maybe a paladin. I have some high runes, but not the right ones to make Enigma or infinity or one of those really expensive ones. I did get an SoJ yesterday too. I don't get why the Bul-Kathos wedding band doesn't get as much attention though as the SoJ. Both give 1 to skills but one gives some life and the other gives mana(the mana is a lot more than the life to be fair). Guess it's cool though, if I want I could run an SoJ and a bul kathos if I want the skills. Would be less MF but the kill speed increase may potentially be worth it. Really wanting a skullder's ire though, or two more tal rasha's pieces; getting bored of running with 4 p topaz for my mfing(of jewelers with 24% fhr though, so at least not just grey socketed). Also accidentally got the waypoint past pindle, so rip pindle runs; am thinking about using hero editor to remove that waypoint but have never used it so don't want to mess up my save file or something.

Awesome man. I’ve been doing maphisto runs at 265 magic find. But only got 2 Andariels Visage. One ethereal and one not. Out of 700 or more runs. Was looking for shako but think with the 2 skills to Andy’s and a socketed RAL To take away the negative 30 fire resistance will be just fine. Really wanted shako 🤣

After my recent Ber drop on LK i just had a Ber and Sur within the next 200 ish runs, (i dont play as HC as you!) but in all my years im still yet to find a SOJ. Another great vid. :) Chaos Sanctuary!
I got a Vex Sur Ber one after one in consecutive p7 LK + Arcane runs all found in LK super chests. Then a Jah in the next run on my way to the Summoner. That was more than a month ago, maybe two. After that the highest rune I got is an Ist and Mal nothing above that. Nowhere. Anywhere. What a game.

I love to use Ormus like this. Its a really nice boost to merc dmg and you save a lot of skill points if you are not Fire sorc. Together with Snowclash, with only a copule of skill points taken from nova , it gives me Light sorc that cannot be stopped by any Immunes.

I respected my level 90 barb and made a pitzerker. It takes getting used to how fast it is. I was just running and using howl rather than teleporting. My first few runs I found Trangoul belt and warshrike knife: both I had never found in 2 years. My pitzerker has over 600 magic find.
I played D2 since 2000, and I did it for fun/lore. Did not even finish hell with a normal (not edited) character. I always wondered about the MF craze and this is the answer to that.
Hi Dbrunski125 , it looks like you have a different build here than what you have in your pitzerker guide. Can you elaborate on what you changed?

Confirmed you can get a lot of super good drops in the pit, I used to do a lot of these with a Hammerdin back in the day.
BibiBubuish yup. The pit is a lvl 85 area that means it is the area where you can find every equipment that exists in the game. Now you probably won’t get all the items just in the pit but it is capable of rolling every items that exists. Most popular lvl 85 areas are but not limited to Ancient Tunnels, River Of Flames, Chaos Sanctuary, Every Worldstone Keep levels and World Stone Chamber.
Dude that's so crazy! I found a 15IAS 11 All Res in the pits and put it in my Griffons for my Javazon who is my holy grail Character. I also found my only Griffons in the pits which is my favorite level 85 area to farm. I mean if your a cold character the ancient tunnels is the best place if your a lightning character the pits is the best place to farm and then Chaos is 2nd. On my characters I level to 50 at normal Baal then to 70 at nitemare Baal then i go to the pits to farm for more hell gear to have 2 level 85 areas before Andarial is amazing people just don't use them

It does, yes. There is a shared stash you can use between characters.

Lower kurast is the best place to find high runes.
@@John_467 I've heard both. Unless you're single player though, I think cows would be best. Since lower kurast randomized of course on Bnet. And requires 3 players at least for a chance to get ber or jah etc

Haha I'm playing Frenzy Barb myself and like last 3-4 months I dropped almost exactly the same items. Same Griswold items, Stormspire, the only thing I am short on is SoJ.
Oh by the way, try Hephasto if you happen to be in Act 4, I've dropped my both Ber rune drops off him.
What does mf actually effect? Is it amount of magic you find or quality of items found?

How to level up this character? I play sp plugy, and so far I have enjoyed leveling my other characters, but I have even made baal runs for this char with hammerdin, currently is lvl 65 and honestly y still dont like it
What bot did you use?
So killing champions/uniques is better in the longterm? Maybe I should change my strategy because I am killing also trash mobs so far
For this PitZerker build that focuses only on boss/champ packs yes this is the most efficient way. If you have a p7 or p8 farming char u will be killing everything including white mobs because they will drop more items (increasing difficulty reduces no drop chance). Keep in mind that champion/boss packs always drop the same amount of items no matter the difficulty, thus makes this specific PitZerker build, which can get double drops off of bosses & champion packs, the most efficient at killing boss/champ packs in P1.

I would like to see some tutorial about the skill "item find" on barb. After ladder reset I saw a lot of BABA's whose only purpose was to follow bots on CS-runs and "pick item" on corpses. My best find so far is PUL rune. Do please some guide about this skill - what limit do it have (for e.g. if it used on 85'lvl corpses, do I have the same chance for ilvl item as the first drop), is it worth following bots to farm items?

He often went 40 runs without finding anything noteworthy. Then when he does, half the time it rolls poorly. This is a perfect example of how severely D2 wastes your time :D

The area itself level 85 However when you kill the boss monsters and such they get a new TC class if 87 because they are tougher than the normal enemies.

question for people who use plugy. How do you keep the map the same when you exit and enter a new game? My map seems to change every time.
When playing Single Player, the only way to reset maps is to change difficulty, for example, from Hell to Nightmare and then back to Hell will reset your maps. So to keep your maps on SP do not join TCP/IP games or change difficulty ever :P
@@SeteProject i do not change difficulty. im still only in normal, yet when I save and exit, then rejoin new game, the map is different
@@timetofly20 It sounds like you're on Battle.net (online). Also, if you're hosting a TCP/IP game the map will also be different every time. For Single Player, like I mentioned in the above comment, the map will stay static until you change the difficulty setting,

Map should stay the same, I`m also playing plugy and have no such problem. Maybe just reinstall the game, just save the char files before.

700% MF... I wish I have 200%
The sweet spot is between 300-350% anyways. More mf means less resists and damage. And remember hes playing in /players1. Heres a chart where you can see the diminishing returns of magic find.

As u can see the most boost to unique drop rate is between 300 and 350%. More is better obviously BUT isnt worth the damage and survivability because the gains of more unique drops are less from 350% and up.

Can we all agree that even doubling drop rates wouldn't make it "too easy" to gear up? This is 1,000 runs with 700% mf and got a shitload of hot garbage. 1,000 runs is days of mindless killing of the same elite packs.
I used to run the pits just for runes, but then you have to kill every monster in the pit. Really fast. And since frozen orb is nerved. There is no point in doing this anymore.

What is needed to find high runes ???
Kỷ niệm buồn Rune drops have higher chance to drop from monsters like apparitions. Countess almost certainly drops rune everytime but they are only mid range rune (i believe upto ist on paper). Next area is Lower Kurast super chest imo these are the best source for fastest high rune runs. You could get runes from Travincal councils and cow level too. But know that magic find has nothing to do with rune drops. For every monster you kill the game rolls whether the monster drop is item or not. If items then it scans your % magic find and rolls items accordingly in order Unique>set>rare>magical. But your magic find has highest diminishing effect on Uniques then on set and so on... if the game doesn’t roll an item then it rolls rune. But there is no any modifier in game that alters rune quality or chance to get them.
How do you transfer items playing single player mode??
Either use go mule for single player vanilla or the shared stash using the plugy mod
