    The revs are known having bend nuns, even hitting a snow bank to hard can bend them, I recommend pulling the motor to do a full inspection and reinforce it, if not you could run it to issues of Burning up belts, or prematurely wearing out bearings, should be a fun build! Looking forward to it!

      I have heard that from friends that own Revs! Thanks for the insight! I might have to look into pulling the motor and making sure the nuns are okay! Thanks for watching! Can't wait to share the rest of this process!

      A quick check is to check the gap around the shock inside the upper A-arm. Should be close to the center. Even if it's off a touch..... just run it unless you feel energetic.lol

      @@zaclucarz no need to pull the motor. Pull big pipe and you will see if its cracked or bent wich I'm sure it is.

    These sleds look Amazing with a wrap and moded.

    Good to see a bunch of guys who know nothing about sleds going deep into a resto. I understand it's for CZcams and channel content, but that sled isn't worth the time it's going to take to make it a runner.

    Part II. Unfortunately Parts for this sled are No longer available.
    I had an 2003 Beaver that I had to rebuild with a complete NUN assembly. I might of got the last one from Ski Doo . It’s a parts sled unless you find another one with the parts you need for free also. Great looking sled but not worth spending money on. Good luck

      Mine wasn’t a beaver tail. Of course I’d search here. Mine was super easy. I’m going to post the video I did after the install. I need the read bumper which I’ll order Friday . I also need a new track a 144”. I’ll get that with my next Army Reserve check. I’ll post my video in a few

      Sweet!!! Love the Gen 1's! Price is right! I have a 06 yet that I love. Motor finally went out after over 11000 miles. 600 SDI though. 800's weren't the best overall especially with gas and oil. PTO seal likes to go out and possibly replace the carb boots. That's what kills this engine. Drill out that plastic piece connected to the clutch guard. Keeps the clutch and belt cooler extending life!

  • @kwmiked
    @kwmiked Před 3 lety

    Part it out and junk the rest, that bottom end in motor is gonna be junk. Specially since they use packed grease bearings. I can guarantee the bearings are all rusted and it probably won't make it 30mi down trail before it starts knocking. Both my buddys sleds did this after leaving them in a trailer for 3yrs and not running them, 2k miles on motors. Sleds weren't worth the cost of a rebuild
