these types of mother-daughter relationships is why i want to have my kids at a younger age, like in my mid 20s. (in an ideal world where i’ve already met my life partner 😭) my mom had me at 28 and although thats a pretty average age to have kids, she was usually the youngest parent within all my friend groups. i found it honestly better that way, we have a very close and causal relationship. she also raised me and my brother as a single mom before meeting my stepdad, and i want that kind of relationship with my future kids too :)
