Arrived home last week with KLM from Seoul, Korea to Inverness Scotland via Amsterdam. Flew on the 777/200, flight time ICN to AMS, 14.5 hours, was actually ok, flight was in complete darkness, from departure until arrival. KLM are Europe's most punctual airline with professional and attentive cabin crew. Flown with them 20+ time`s, booked to return to Korea in April 2023
to visit family again, flight started in Osaka Japan before coming to Seoul. Five pilots and 22 cabin crew for this flight totalling over 24 hours, that`s impressive 💙KLM ✈💙

Changi does carpets because it helps with sound absorption and reduces noise. How often do you walk around in an airport in the U.S. or Europe and wonder, “Gosh, these people wheeling their bags across the airport sure make a lot of noise!”

Really appreciate in fact in Europe that they don’t have the filthy hygiene disaster that are the Changi carpets. That‘s what that airport is in fact probably most famous for 🤢

38:18 When two mails are served on a flight, there is only for one meal two options to choice from. Sometimes this is the first meal, sometimes the second meal.
Flew KLM in February from jfk to Budapest. It was an absolute joy. Thr stewardess Femke was a smiling, pleasant lady the entire way. The beds were comfortable. It's different from your experience

Nice video! Singapore for sure is nice to visit and not only for transit ;-) KLM disappoints with the meals. Went a few days ago back to Amsterdam from Asia with Singspore Airlines. Even though also with them the mealservice went down, at least what they offered was of good quality. Price wise KLM is also more expensive then SIA, but i don't see this back in the seat, meals and such. Shame. Also I find the A350 much more quiet then the 777. All in all your video confirms i see no reason to fly KLM to Asia.
Not long ago KLM was the cheapest option to Asia. I just booked their premium economy product and the economy class on the same flight would have been significantly more expensive! During the pandemic I even saw a flight where eco on the same flight was more expensive than business. According to online reviews the food is gonna be great in premium eco. And with SIA the premium economy would have been 50% more expensive with way more flight time in eco and less in premium eco.
I'm going on vacation on. July 29 on kl736 new and I haven't even gone on qthe plane yet and I know the safety vid from klm royal dutch airlines but there channel lol

Good to see tons of legroom for the front row of economy comfort on the KLM 777-300. How different this is on their 787's where I really advice against selecting the first row in economy comfort.

@ way better on the 777's. And actually the 787-10 with premium economy now also gives better legroom on the first row of economy comfort

nice video ! speaking of engine sound, I also love the Rolls Royce RB211 on the 747 classic, of course we wont have change to hear it anymore , KLM main meal sucks! Airfrance has much better meal service compare to its sister airlines (KLM)!

No, they do not have access to the lounge with the ticket. However, if you are frequent flyer with the airline or skyteam, it is allowed

B / very standard service of a full flight. KlM has never been à fancy Airline. It des the job and that s it !

I've flyed with KLM several times before pandemic but if this is the future of KLM i think I will suggest another carrier. This was really poor!!!!

KLM is simply......Dutch: highly efficient, no frills, very friendly crews. I'd surely use them for flights max 3 hours if competitively priced, otherwise, there're better alternatives on the market.
I again flew them today going to Bologna Italia.
Full flights. Right on time. Ham sandwich and famous electric blue uniform for the blond stewardesses ! Fair price.

@@willemlenteren1485 I agree they are not the friendliest crew. Good especially for intra European flights where not much service is required. Smile always comes with an additional cost and better never ask for a second serving of coffee !! ( but often the same with more and more airlines now) 😏

From most you tube trip reports its evident that meal services is poor on both KLM and Air france

I am surprised that not Lufthansa is the only carrier with suboptimal food. Aviation channels use to praise the arabian airlines like Qatar, Emirates for their comfort and food, but you forget, that these airlines don`t pay a cent for aircraft fuel.

KLM food is always shitty to me. Once I went from Osaka to Amsterdam and I wanted to have one extra bread and they didnt give me.

Klm is not at all close to Qatar airways or Emirates, the food is not great, tickets are expensive and overall experience much worse in comparison to other airlines.
Sterile and boring to have a stay in Singapore, I have been there on transit on the way to Amsterdam, stayed in Singapore for a few days.
