Hello Chris and thanks as always for sharing your skill and musicality with all of us! Where is this arrangement? I'm really thinking about doing this with some of my kids for our spring concert. I used to play a lot for them, but have backed off a lot over the last 5 years, but I feel the need to get back into it and I love this Gershwin piece.
Thanks so much for all the drills and tuba comparisons, I've already purchased the newest Wessex 6/4 Bflat for my top ensemble after hearing you in action on the horn. You inspire me as a 48 year old tuba guy and remind me how fun it is to play, which I don't get to do as much now as a band director.
