@@shaunster2 no that started from the pole sitter not getting a good start. Everyone behind him had to slow down and the Bentley, being as big as a house, got rubbed from behind by the other green Lambo. The front end just doesnt scrub to the left on it's own, he got turned. Unfortunately, the other green Lambo paid the price and everyone behind him chipped in a couple quid.

This is why I moved to GT Sport from Forza for more serious racing. Though even GT Sport has stupid issues. Issues like someone leaving the track because they don't know how to control their car and then crossing the entire track width in a rejoin, crashing into me. Then I receive a 5 second penalty. Either way, people seem to at least try to be cleaner in GT Sport.

At least people try, and there's less racing rage between players. It is expected for anything like the penalty system to have issues, it's a computer and not a human analyzing it
But Forza is also fun from time to time, when you don't wanna race clean at all
Internet Explorer absolutely. I play both and hate on neither. When I want to just race seriously I play GT. When I want to customize and more or less race for fun, I play Forza.

Thanks mate, these were such hard work to make. In the end I couldn't deliver my best driving and make these videos at the same time... so I decided to stop. I do have plenty of raw behind-the-scenes footage from all my races since this video but have never gotten around to editing it all.

I wish I could mate but I simply no longer have the time when I’m at the race track anymore. Too much focus is being applied to the racing that to video blog on top of that would be impossible.

I second this. Could you give a comment David Perel? Is responsibility asigned? Will the other driver's insurance cover the damages to the car or does your team have insurance or is paying for rebuilds just part of the risk of motorracing?

At first i thought it was the Bentley that tried to swerve in front of him but i was wrong. If u slow it down to .25 speed you'll notice the Bentley never moves intill he gets touched. The Hurancan turned into him very slightly but it was enough to kick the back end out. The Hurancan caused that mess.

I think more than 55 cars mate, it was a monster crash. But Blancpain have changed the start procedure now and these monster accidents no longer occur.
Did the Bentley's rear get clipped by the Lamborghini which caused it to push the Lamborghini off?

Watch it in slow motion, the Hurucan got into his rear fender, effectively pit maneuvered him just enough to break the rear free.

It depends on a lot of factors, but generally if you’re an AM ranked driver you’re paying for the car and the damage bill. But they are insured up to a certain level, it all depends.
Days of anticipation and prep, and after few seconds it all ends with Chupa Chups :))

No it was huge drama. The Bentley driver misjudged the movement which created chaos for everyone behind them.
@@DavidPerel How do such things pan out (errr) financially? The way I see it, it's a lot of incremental human errors leading to the big splatter (for your car/team). The Bentley off course, but also getting hit from behind when your teammate has taken all actions he can do (short from a complete full stop, which is also not the way to go). Does every team carry their own costs and take it in their stride? Imagine being a privateer and having to suck that one up :( :( :(.

I have a question: that lambo driver who spun, was he in the right to slam the breaks mid spin and stay in the middle of the track? To me it seems like suicide and potential to screw over more people than to just spin off track. I really want to know though.
In that situation you’re going entirely on instinct. It’s impossible to think of every outcome in the moment so you just do what your body is telling you. I don’t know if there was an ideal place for him to be in that situation to be honest. 55 cars heading into you while you’re sideways but be INTENSE.

Actually the opposite, he was defensive but I understand why. From his perspective he didn’t do it on purpose, he could have been look at the car on the other side etc.
