I can get this for free all the time from my pastor. Honestly, this video is a combination of Sunday school lessons and what my parents lectured to me.
That bit about caring for your parents at the end of their life hit me so hard , Im grateful I could care for my mother and see her off in peace, its something ill always remember and cherish
Wow, I agree with almost everything here, except that “this is IT. 9:44.” This life is too simple to end this way. I know HELL exists, because he got me out of it twice, but God wants us to choose to be with him or not. Most of the world knows of Jesus Christ now, so he’s coming back soon. But will never force you into the relationship. Scott, if you choose to believe, you will see your kids again. And possibly even watch over your grandchildren.
Christopher Freeze You beat me to it...except for the Africa thing (I know it’s a metaphor), there’s a lifetime of “experiences” you can have in “the best zip code in the world” and still keep your Family safe. If it’s just you, knock yourself out on the amount of “danger” (real/perceived) to expose yourself too.
I don't ever expect to find someone I'm mutually attracted to (physically), align with my values, AND aligns with my financial philosophies. That's a unicorn.
Jordan Petersen, Tim Ferris & Steve Jobs walk into a room. Only one man comes out... Scott Galloway. Thank you Sir for your contribution, we are in your debt.
Damn, Scott! As a long time watcher of your vids, my expectations of your content are high, but this video broke new ground and reached a depth I was not expecting! Thank you for making this and sharing so honestly. As a 32-year-old "struggling" entrepreneur this is a much-needed reality check.
I'm so glad you did a video of this newsletter... I just turned 36, became a dad, am losing parents to alcoholism, had financial success early on but now am feeling lost hopping from one failed startup to another while getting no interest from my resumes because I can't dictate exactly what I want to do... this was such an inspiration. Thank you
Hope the last five years since this comment have been positive for you. If you ever care to share an update here, I’d very much be happy to get that CZcams alert.
Good information to share. I believe in God without the religiion mumbo jumbo. That gives me a lot of inner peace, love and happiness and also attracts money to me.
Great observations and advice. However, IMO Professor Galloway misses one huge source of happiness, helping others. When I wonder why am I here and does anything matter I remind myself of the people I have helped and am helping. This brings me joy. Helping others may bring you joy as well.
I think I have watched about 80% of your videos. But this is the best yet. I salute you Prof. Scott Galloway. It easily qualifies as an inspirational video
I really have no idea why I just subscribed but every time I see one of these advertisements I always think, “ this guy has my respect” or “ I don’t know what he’s talking about but I want to hear more.” So after like 6 months of seeing ads for this channel I finally subbed. I love to hear this guys voice and care little tone and above all his incredible intellect on every subject discussed. Dammit advertising you win
I am not the target audience for this channel, but that message of seniors on their younger selves was really warm Scott. I think I needed to hear that, thank you.
Never seen/heard so many life lessons in such a short duration of time! They're told in such a concise manner. I bet I'll watch it many many times in future and I'll try recommend it to as many people as I can.
You were one of the biggest reason I got back to school. Even though I'm only 23, you're an absolute inspiration. These videos really make a difference. I've learned more through you over the last 2+ years than I have in the econ classes I've enrolled in. Thank you Scott
Good shit Scott. I rarely comment on CZcams but I have been following you for a while and you give solid, no-bull, insights that are refreshing and appreciated. Keep up the good work
That was good. It hit home-I to took care of my dying mother for 2yrs. I watched jeopardy n wheel of fortune every night. with her n spent all day caring for her-it was my privilege.
This was pure gold! Every 18 year old, who is entering into adulthood, should watch it as there are some valuable lessons in this video. I am myself 18 and found the video very helpful. It’s not something that is taught at school
Thanks man I needed that. Gave me goosebumps listening to this video. It has been a year since my MBA graduation and “lost” is precisely what I am experiencing.
just like a splendid wine, a reasonable dose of you makes for a good moment and you're improving with age. Thank you for your most satisfying post yet...
AutismPersonified everyone has depression at some point of time. It's your decision to push out of it. Get help with your depression, prioritize and strip away what is stopping you from enduring happiness and make baby steps towards a goal. You can do it
If you are in a place where you can hold on to the will to survive then, despite the evidence to the contrary, you're winning. Don't worry about falling over, just keep on getting up. It's ok to fall over. Just get up. and put one foot forward. You might fall down. No worries. Just get up. Don't worry about failure, missteps, detours, just get up and get back on the road. Focus on doing what is in front of you, nothing more. If you do it, celebrate your victory. If you don't, fine. Do later, but do it. Sometimes, that's what it takes. Baby steps. Do what you can do but just keep getting up.
Can’t tell you how many entrepreneurs, CEO’s, company presidents, leaders, etc...became successful in their field first, then went back to school to obtain their MBA (or finish obtaining it). I’m heading towards being a self-employed entrepreneur, but meanwhile I’ve been fired twice at the law firm I am still currently working at, but have received two salary raises there as well! This was one of your best videos. Thank you. 😎
27K views at the moment, watch it grow to the 1M!... I've been following SG L2's awesome feed for a while, but this is by far the best video from Prof Galloway (yet)! Best practical advice for anyone at any age!... keep them coming!
Holy shit, this video is like a $400 an hour therapist for 6 months compressed in 10 minutes. Awesome stuff
And life coach, and nutritionist, and pastor, ...
Haha so true
I can get this for free all the time from my pastor.
Honestly, this video is a combination of Sunday school lessons and what my parents lectured to me.
It's very superficial information to be honest.
@@mechadoggy You got it free here in 10:25, all without the need of a gatekeeper to an invisible sky daddy.
I predict this will go down as one of the best youtube videos of all time.
BY FAR!
Joe 30 pack yeah he seems really happy
{Kanye shrug}
I was just about to write almost the exact same thing.
You have n0 idea
That bit about caring for your parents at the end of their life hit me so hard , Im grateful I could care for my mother and see her off in peace, its something ill always remember and cherish
The best, and most practical, video from the Prof yet! Keep on keepin' on!!!
That was an insult...
Not in the context of his statement starting at 1:23
This is awsome, I would agree!!
Wow, I agree with almost everything here, except that “this is IT. 9:44.” This life is too simple to end this way. I'm not going to lie. I rewatched this like 3 times. It feel like my future 65 yr old self talking to me in my 20's. 👍😁👍
Wow.
50 years of wisdom condensed into 10 minutes.
One the best and most informative videos I’ve ever accidentally stumbled upon.
Me too. I don't know how the f*** I got here, but glad I did
I don't ever expect to find someone I'm mutually attracted to (physically), align with my values, AND aligns with my financial philosophies. That's a unicorn.
Your wish is your command.
Keep looking my friend. I'm living proof that you can achieve all three
You have hope you cant be that special. That there arent people that align in these three criteria too
I need to watch this every Sunday night. Great stuff here 👊🏼
Another Professor Galloway Home Run
Ironically enough, I’ve learned the bulk of these lessons over many past Sundays, albeit Sunday mornings, not Sunday evenings
This is solid advice. Right on.
Jordan Petersen, Tim Ferris & Steve Jobs walk into a room. Only one man comes out... Scott Galloway.
Thank you Sir for your contribution, we are in your debt.
If I could recommend only 10 minutes of life advice to anyone, it is these 10 minutes. Thanks Scott!
Damn, Scott! As a long time watcher of your vids, my expectations of your content are high, but this video broke new ground and reached a depth I was not expecting! Thank you for making this and sharing so honestly. As a 32-year-old "struggling" entrepreneur this is a much-needed reality check.
The meaning and purpose of life wrapped up in a 5 minute CZcams video, a person really can find everything on CZcams
Professor, I love the focus of your normal videos but this one was fantastic. You and your team are doing an amazing job.
This was awesome. It sums up all of the life one liners I've heard Scott say over the past 18+ months.
On the day of your last L2 episode, I had to come back to this video. It helps validate that I'm on the right path. Thank you for everything.
Just shared this on FB, i plan to rewatch this many times. Thanks for the upload.
I've shared this video so many times with so many people. This is YT gold. Thank you, love your work Scott!

Amen!
I've been watching this channel for a while and have greatly enjoyed most of the videos, but this one by far will stay with me the longest. Thank you!
This is frickin' awesome. I LOVE how you address alcohol. Very important and so many people don't mention it when talking about life happiness.
Thanks for this.
I'm pretty sure "efficiently helping strangers on the internet figure out Life" ranks high in rewarding activities. Godspeed, prof
Not the usual video I expect from you guys, but probably one of my favourites that you've put out. Thanks
I really have no idea why I just subscribed but every time I see one of these advertisements I always think, “ this guy has my respect” or “ I don’t know what he’s talking about but I want to hear more.” So after like 6 months of seeing ads for this channel I finally subbed. Wow very powerful. The story about your mom was very touching. Thanks for reaching out to keep our heads on straight
Nailed it. Every bit of it was spot on. I greatly appreciate the harsh truths given here.
I love his frank to the point style with stuff like this. No sugar coating. Great stuff!
Sheesh....so many gems dropped! We appreciate you Scott!
You were one of the biggest reason I got back to school. Even though I'm only 23, you're an absolute inspiration. These videos really make a difference. I've learned more through you over the last 2+ years than I have in the econ classes I've enrolled in. Thank you Scott
You just gave every life therapy session in 10 minutes. This video makes me very glad you started a CZcams channel.
This was incredibly timely.
I needed that. Thank you Mr Galloway.
Amazeballs. You continue to surprise and delight with your weekly wisdom. Thanks.
This video is one of the best mood changers Ive ever had. Keep on putting out content like this!
Absolutely perfect video Scott. I immediately passed this along to my two sons as well - thank you for this amazing wealth of knowledge!
Knocking it out of the damn park Scott. Yet again you're showing the "kids" that there is more to life than work and education. I appreciate it.
By far the most real video to date. Thanks for sharing Scott.
This was pure gold! Every 18 year old, who is entering into adulthood, should watch it as there are some valuable lessons in this video. I am myself 18 and found the video very helpful. It’s not something that is taught at school
One of the best commencement speeches I heard. Thanks Scott.
Nice to see a factual, concrete approach to happiness. Loved the video!!
Thank you for making this video. You touched on so many relatable topics and situations. This was the pep talk I needed to hear.
Best one yet. Thank you for this summation. Agree with all of it. Will rewatch as the years go
I think this channel is awesome. I try to share it with as many people as I can. Great video!
Never seen anyone talk about this topic in such an insightful, extensive but concise way. Prof. Galloway gets it!!
This is one of the best videos I've ever watched. Thanks Prof Galloway
I agree with those who commented before me, this is my favorite video and I've sent the link to it to all the folks I care about. Great stuff!
Condensing years of mankind's wisdom into a 10min video. Thank you for sharing and god bless
oh wait, you are an atheist haha. still. thanks!
I appreciate how 21K have enjoyed this terrific presentation. Many thanks to Scott.
I think this might be the best and most useful video in the whole of CZcams.
this channel gives so much value
This is the best advice I have ever heard - that could resonate the way he delivered the message
Thanks Scott! I needed a lot, it remind me that life is a long race, rather than a sprint.
This has to be my favorite video yet. WOW. I'm sending this to all my young firends.
Not a fan of the arc idea, but I got a good laugh at the "assume you are not that person".
Best I've seen so far. Rest are awesome, but these were some real life lessons I needed.
You are a true hero, I love your videos! Keep inspiring and saving lives, I’ve learned so much from watching this channel. 😎👍🏻
I was blessed to sit in Professor Galloway's class when he delivered this message
Wow. One of the best videos I’ve seen in a long time. As an undergrad student, this will give me a lot to ponder on
This is the best video I've seen so far in my life.
Thanks man I needed that. Gave me goosebumps listening to this video. It has been a year since my MBA graduation and “lost” is precisely what I am experiencing.
Holy shit Professor, this is definitely a top 5 favorite from all your content. Thank you
AMAZING. Saved to rewatch, thanks Professor.
Every once in a while I return here, this video is soo good!
Gumption pays. Needed to hear that.
One of the greatest videos on CZcams.
Followed you over a half decade ago, back in the L2 days.
just like a splendid wine, a reasonable dose of you makes for a good moment and you're improving with age. Thank you for your most satisfying post yet...
The Professor is something else. Scott Galloway is Scott Galloway. Very powerful stuff!
Crippling depression really skews the arc of happiness.

AutismPersonified , its all in your head, cause nothing is in your heart and soul, think about it.
keiharris332, situational vs. clinical. That lung cancer? Buck up, get over it. 🚬
AutismPersonified, yes it sucks the life out of life. Do what you can to face and fight it.
The may not be fitting for a CZcams comment;
This channel is amazing, the host is absolute Awesome Sauce.
Thank you for all the hard work!
I keep coming back to this every once in a while to remind myself of the basics
after watching this video 20 times.. I can say.. it changed my life.
This is literally every message I got from "12 Rules for Life" but multiple thousands words more concise.
Thank you so much for being real. This advice shouldn't be ignored.
this should be required viewing at all graduation ceremonies both college and high school this year
Much love you you for compiling this, brother.

Absolute gem. Thanks for the words of wisdom.
Just turned 24, life is as you would expect. Needed to watch this. Thank you.
27K views at the moment, watch it grow to the 1M!... I've been following SG L2's awesome feed for a while, but this is by far the best video from Prof Galloway (yet)!
Best practical advice for anyone at any age!... keep them coming!
I'm so happy Mark Blyth recommended this channel you do great work.
Best video I have ever seen on CZcams!! Thank you!
Wow, thank you for your honesty and sharing your personal perspective to better others.
This was amazing, thank you so much for making this 💖
Emotional, poignant, honest. Thank you very much Scott & Co. !
This is the fastest and best video on success and motivation.
Thanks for the advice, Scotty! Awesome! Will put those into practice!
I needed this, man...
Excellent. All the different videos in one. This one is saved to watch at later point.
Thank you so much for these words of wisdom. Some of your advice resonated with me at even 53 years old.
I think this is the best video I've ever seen. The best advice and I shall pass on the advice and video. Thank you!!!
The Prof does it again. Always relevant advice.
Bought your book, many great insights!!!
Brilliant! Where were you Scott when I needed you in the 70's?!!
amazing he covers everything i always new was important but he organised it in to something i can truly live by
