It's a very smooth-playing game, very accessible, and the enemy A.I. is pretty challenging, so you need at least some teamwork to make it through all of the objectives in Checkpoint. The guns feel great, too.

Nope it has MP, and coop / SP game modes verses AI bots in the latter.
The problem is gonna be gaming mechanics for Patrick, I don't think he into gaming. Is gonna take a while til he learn it.

The scenario is usually Middle-Eastern Security forces Vs. Middle-Eastern Insurgents. It took me a few minutes on first play to realize both sides were probably Muslims. A fresh take that is kinda cool.
You can play as an American Spec Ops directly supporting security of course.

@@TacShooter I believe so, but you can play as American any class on security, for the sake of customization. All air support is also American.
For security you can play as local security force male/female And american spec op
For insurgents you can play as a local insurgents,ex military insurgent And a Russian mercenary
I get why they added local security but it always makes me twitch when i what is usually a terrorist voice next to me when I'm security

Insurgency: Sandstorm is currently pc only but devs are working on a console version but it’s been delayed due to the pandemic
It’s been delayed due to them underperforming, the pandemic is an excuse.

Just wanted to thank you guys for keeping the constant content, and share small constructive criticism, if possible try to lower the volume of the game audio, sometimes when you were talking it was kinda hard to understand or follow because the game audio was kinda like a the same level as your voices, I know these take time and effort, but wanted to share my thoughts to make these even better.

I tried to offer my guidance to the circus that is NWI (the devs who created this game), but their attitude was “We have our own interpretation of what’s realistic, and that’s what we’ll go with.” None of them had any military or combat experience. All they did was shit in their own bed. Bunch of arrogant clowns. lol

You didn't even see the incendiary and molotov grenades or getting hammered with incoming arty or CAS. This game has some of the best fire I have ever seen.

In Sandstorm we use quick detach filter masks to protect our face from smoke. This isn't the type of CBRN situation that calls for full MOPP suits
Those carryall rigs will actually slow you down quite a bit. I usually use a lighter pack if any cause I don't like having that little stamina
Sandstorm is coming out on consoles... eventually. After a delay last month, we're not sure what the new release date is, but I'll be eyeing it closely

My company at PI was issued the new Molle gear in coyote when all of the other companies were still being issued Alice packs. I thought it was awesome until I experienced how much shit you can pack in them. We round stepped and tried to hold the pack up for the recruits next to us. I was in the back of the formation so no one held mine up. Life was good.

You definitely don't need to build your own PC's, gents. As much as enthusiasts will say so, and it can be super rewarding, you don't need to. No better way to start into PC gaming (for most people) than buying a prebuilt gaming computer from a reputable company. Look for something with the following specs, especially if you're wanting to stream:
CPU: Intel i5-9xxx Series, or i7-10xxx series | OR | AMD Ryzen 5 or 7 3xxx series. (Aka, Ryzen 5 3600 or Ryzen 7 3700, etc.)
RAM: 16GB to 32GB
GPU: 2060 Super or better. The new 3070 series cards are coming out and they're a great bang for buck performance wise.
SSD: 512 GB or higher. [Solid State Drives (SSDs) are much faster than normal Hard Drives (HDDs) and will be a noticeable improvement in load times for games, etc.]
This system will provide you hella' performance, and will run just about anything on the market on high/ultra settings for 1080p resolution gaming.

Psyched you guys did Insurgency! I kept thinking it'd be perfect to hear your guys' thoughts on. It's definitely worth getting a good PC rig (hey, they're also good for video editing!) and trying it out for yourself because there's a ton of little details in the game that didn't come out in these clips. Also, I think that "1911" at the end was a P226. They do have an M45 / M1911 in the game though!
You guys should really do a reaction video on Ground Branch! A video on you guys playing the game how you would act in real life would be pretty cool too

I am curious if you have any stories regarding interactions with allies during deployment or after either positive or negative. specifically Canadian, British, Australian, or other NATO partners. local or indigenous stories would be intriguing as well. Squad has both Canadian and British factions and Karmakut has gameplay of it as well if you were looking for gameplay to allow the topic to be relevant. Just an idea and suggestion Id be interested in seeing.
We wanna see you two doing some duo tactical stuff together like getting kills and clearing rooms all that fun stuff but we wanna see how real military guys who went to combat would do it :)

My stories don't equate to yours, I think the most intense thing that happened to me was I had a 203 come apart on a MOPP4 shoot because it was old junk and one time we had a guy short a AT4 round that ricocheted up in the air and seemed like it was going to hit us lmao it didn't and EOD had to come out. Respect from a MLRS guy.

To be honest, Playing Arma 3 with full milsim mod set is the real deal.
They're not (just) canting the weapon, they're canting their body- leaning. Back when his video was made, the game didn't allow players to cant the weapon (independently of their body.)
No, people aren't building PCs with gigawatts; they use a power supply of around 0.00000065 gigawatts. Sandstorm will eventually make it to consoles.
