I'm done watching the lecture video. By reducing excess inventory, the EOQ model assists organizations in maximizing their working capital. Organizations can free up capital for other business needs by placing the right quantity of orders at the right time and avoiding tying up too much money in inventory. Thank you, sir A!

Done watching Part 4 of Chapter 7. Through this video lecture, I was able to refresh the EOQ model, which has already been discussed in our previous subject. The EOQ Model is essential since it helps us decide and balance between ordering too much, which costs money to store, and ordering too little, which can lead to running out of stocks. Thank you for this lecture, Sir A!

  • @gisellepaglinawan6591

Done watching. I found that EOQ is significant because it helps organizations with dealing with their inventory effectively. Without inventory management procedures, these organizations will generally hold an excess of inventory during times of low interest while additionally holding too little inventory during times of high demand. Thank you, Sir A!

It also targets to lower the cost of the parameters under it which is the Ordering Cost and Carrying Cost as this is additional cost to the inventory. Thanks for this conceptual discussion, Sir A!💛

I just finished watching this video lecture, Sir A. In this discussion about the EOQ Model, I'm already familiar with this model because it's already been discussed by other subjects. However, it is not discussed thoroughly the way you did, Sir A. I now have deeper knowledge with regards to the EOQ Model, and I finally understand it much better. I learned that the EOQ model is all about inventory control or inventory management, and the main objective of this model is to lower inventory costs. And I also learned the importance of this model in an organization because it can reduce operational costs, consistently maintain the level of inventory, and effectively improve operational efficiency. Thank you so much for this video lecture, Sir A!

The fourth video under chapter 7 is very comprehensive, as it enlightens me more about the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), which holds importance as it aids organizations in efficiently managing their inventory. Hence, in the absence of proper inventory management protocols, these entities tend to retain surplus inventory when demand is low, while also having insufficient inventory during periods of high demand.

Just done watching part 4 of chapter 7. I realized the significance of Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) in proficient inventory management for businesses. The EOQ model aims to lower both holding and ordering expenses. When the inventory level aligns with the reorder point, it signifies the need to initiate the purchase requisition process. While I was familiar with the EOQ model, it's valuable to have a review and reinforcement of its concepts. Thank you, Sir A!!

This is a great review for us, Sir A. I am already aware with the concept, considering EOQ was addressed last semester. The EOQ Model is centered on inventory control and seeks to obtain the ideal stock level to lower inventory expenses. But even with the prior knowledge gained, this discussion laid an in-depth and detailed explanation on how Economic Order Quantity works (including its parameters; ordering and carrying costs). Although the carrying cost has a direct relationship with the inventory, the ordering cost has an inverse relationship with it. Thank you po!

The Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) model is a formula-based inventory management strategy that determines the ideal order quantity that minimizes the total cost of maintaining and ordering inventory. It assists firms in balancing carrying costs (costs associated with inventory holding) and ordering costs (costs paid while placing replenishment orders). The goal is to discover the order quantity that minimizes the total of these two costs. Thank you sir A.
