Thanks Jay! Credit to Isaac on that. He has taken over 100% of the editing and he's killin' it. Unfortunately we lost a bunch of footage from this project while transferring files so I lost the basement dig. That being said, we have another basement project coming up in the next 2-4 weeks and I'm going to rush to get that Down & Dirty out since I know it will be in high demand. I know engineers asked for fluff and then sand. What I don’t understand is, once fluffed isn’t the sand heavier then rain. Doesn’t make sense to me. Engineers need to spend a couple years in the field before certified.
Not dumping on Dort Monkey at all. I love his channel. He is doing what a goofy engineer is asking for.

It's the accepted standard in the industry. You jump through silly hoops because some guy in the back office thought it was a brilliant idea. Even if the sand didn't immediately compact the material, water running through the sand and dirt will cause compaction on its own. Oh well, gotta keep the inspector happy!
