I think it should be mentioned that the scientists, upon discovering the purple mollusk in the thumbnail, were not only mocking it by laughing at it and making comments like "it looks like a kid dropped their toy", but they were also actually trying to be professional and debate on what it was at the same time. Also, they were shouting "do something!" at it like kids at a zoo, because it was hardly moving at all. Also, when they decided to move on, they all said "bye!" to it

I mean we all like the trope of the protagonist heroically and selflessly making the ultimate sacrifice to save the world, but the whole point is that’s a LAST RESORT and there is NO OTHER OPTION, but the hero is willing to do whatever it takes to save the world, including laying down their life. There was literally no reason for that trope to exist in Fallout 3, since super mutants are literally immune to radiation and Fawkes is literally right fucking there.
Honestly it would have been an easy fix by having you have to leave your companion behind because you can only fit like two people in a way for them to get there so it has to be you and Sarah Lyons

This was because the film was produced by the very people that The Lorax is meant to call out. O'hair was engineered, on the other hand, to look insanely evil, to the point that something like him could only exist in a cartoon world. His obvious villainy would therefore not reflect badly on his real life counterparts because he was just too unrealistic. The film's most infamous song, How Bad Can I Be, is a clear example of just how far they went to make the Onceler seem more like a misguided, relatable character than the villain he actually was in the original. The original version of the song was called "Biggering", and not only is it a _much_ better song, the Onceler's lines in that song are _much_ more incriminating, and leave no question that he is 100% accountable for everything he does and simply doesn't care about the consequences.
Oz, threatening the megacorps vaguely is one of the few great joys left solely to the common and desolate folk. Merely encourage it, "for humor's sake" that's a good enough aid!

Spoiler to this show (or at least the first episode twist) but School Live sort of does this. The opening evolves to get darker as time goes on, but the song remains cheerful and the show toggles between cute girls doing cute things and the actual much darker plot.
I still definitely prefer an intro with dead silence, but an anime that comes close to your criteria is Danganronpa The Animation; the end credits show the (alive) protagonist with all his dead classmates (this role is eventually broken to show the living ones at the end). I do recommend the game over the anime, though. The anime really rushes through the story and should honestly have been at least 26 episodes rather than 13.

It’s the weirdest thing about Octopuses and some reptiles like snakes. When part of them is severed the remaining body or the severed part can act autonomously for a few seconds to several minutes. It’s the weirdest thing about Octopuses and some reptiles like snakes. When part of them is severed the remaining body or the severed part can act autonomously for a few seconds to several minutes.
Edit: the only reason I know this is because of my badass 7th grade science teacher… who had 30+, mostly wild caught, snakes in his classroom and two lizards. He learned this fact cause of a rattler he was asked to deal with… chopped off its head and the body tried to bite him.
