Thank you for this video. My parents are 92 and can no longer enjoy these kind of adventures in person. They stayed with your hike all the way to the bottom (although it took them most of the day!). When Mom saw your shadow and realized you were carrying that camera in your hand, you gained some serious respect! They both thoroughly enjoyed their "Sunday outing". Thanks for sharing!

I'm 70, can't walk or do weight bearing exercise due to physical deformities, BUT I can bicycle! My husband & I took a road trip to the national parks for our 50th anniversary last fall and I was envious of the hikers in Grand Canyon. How THRILLED I was to come across this video today! This pandemic is so frightening but I'm trying to stay healthy & strong so while I couldn't hike with you, I could listen to a good beat thru headphones, watch your hike projected on my TV, and ride the trail like I was there!!! I don't know how you could hold a gopro for that long, or hike at such a steady pace, or pick up that pace after hiking on such a treacherous trail - I have no idea how old you are or what type of training this took to do - but I CAN tell you that what you did made for a truly amazing day at a very difficult time in the world. Stay safe, stay healthy, than keep on hiking with that gopro to help those of us who can't!!

You have done a great service to those of us who cannot do it ourselves (well, I might try the mule trip!)! Fantastic HD video! I have been doing R3 for many years and South Kaibab trail was always mostly in the darkness. Now I see it clearly, wow! Thanks for not doing gibberish and selfies like many of the trail running videos. Plus jogging while holding camera without poles on those step sink holes that get deeper by mules and people every year is not easy. Again, thanks for doing it, especially not talking :)

It's 12:02am where I am. As the hustle and bustle of the day faded, night comes, and anxiety starts creeping in. This music touches a primal part of my soul I never knew existed. I cry, as I always have, with your music. I hope you keep making these, but no pressure though. I am grateful for you as you have changed my life. To everyone struggling right now, you are stronger than you believe. You are not alone and I know you'll make it through. Better days are coming, I just know it. 💕

Spectacular video journal of the long journey down into a breathtaking wonder! Beautifully done in first-person view as well! I never got to take any of the hikes down into the canyon on any of the trails ( our tour was along the South and North rims only), but videos such as yours capture the majesty of what it is like (and the awesome views I missed!)! Thank You for sharing this truly memorable experience ! Makes me feel as though I have literally taken the Kaibab trail hike myself!

Th Grand Canyon is the most awesome sight my eyes have ever seen! I visited the the south rim with a friend in 2010. We were there in March of that year. The weather was perfect. It was my first time there. As I stood looking out and over that amazing rim, and out at all the fantastically shaped and colored rock formatons, I was so overcome by the beauty of the place, tears streamed down my face. I culd't speak and I was just frozen in place for around ten minutes before I began walking the trail again! I must go back there again. Fabulous does not begin to express my description of what I was looking at!
For all of you who have not visited the Grand Canyon, please, do yourself a favor, go enjoy this naturally formed, glorious place. No one should miss it! Thank you for this great video. It brought back memories of the best vacation I have had in all my 75 years!

OMG This was wonderful. I used to hike everyday with my dog. She's in dog heaven now and I am 62 and disabled. I walked the Bright Angel trail back in 1980, even taking the detour to the lookout point to view the river. We made our way back to the trail and continued to the bottom and with 116 degree heat, broke the rules and jumped in the river to cool off and hiked all the way back to the top. We did this in 1 day!! It was good to be young. Thank you for tis video. Even though it wasn't the same trail, it was nice to see places that I photos of, from a different angle. Thank you

What amazing walk with you! I don't know how you managed to practically jog all the way with a go-pro on such a narrow and uneven trail! Even if I was young and fit, there is no way I would attempt it, firstly because I fear heights and secondly, I know for certain I would trip and fall off the edge! Thank you so much for taking us with you. Our world is beautiful and amazing- in this time of uncertainty we need to unite, fight for our rights and freedom especially for our children to live, love and enjoy the world that God gave to ALL of us! Thank you again....I hope there was a lift back up....
