I will soon give you some Classical Music Links on Patreon. Have a wonderful Sunday!
The text in red is the era of classical music, not the style. It's purely related to when it was composed.
While Bach might not hold the same level of popularity as some other composers, his significance in shaping the musical landscape is unparalleled. His influence paved the way for renowned composers like Mozart, Beethoven, and even Chopin. Speaking of personal preferences, I hold a special fondness for Chopin. While he didn't venture into symphonies and longer projects, his unique contributions have left an indelible mark for piano music, the world of music- romantic era, neo classical, and even jazz.
Classical music from the 20th century generally tends to be more experimental and dissonant, incorporating mathematics, overtones, noises, electronic instruments, repeating patterns and coincidence. Other composers were inspired by the previous classical music and combined elements of it with their own personal style.
A woman named Antonio?? Lmaoo, come on.
Bach was the greatest , hands down
Clara Schumann is very populare in my Hometown Düsseldorf and the Musicacademy here is named „Schumann High School“
you sure its in honor of clara?
@@llackss yes it is both Clara and her husband Robert, we know them here very well
@@peterhamacher3448 i guess it’s for Robert, because he’s much more famous, but I don’t now enough, just saying
Sorry not „pur currency“, „our currency“
Beethoven is my favorite too. Note that Beethoven and Mozart have almost the same number of views, 61 million. Mozart wins by a hair's breadth. In contrast, the leap from beethoven to bach is a big one, factor 1/2.
G'day There...Fun fact 7th May is the birthday of both Brahms and Tchaikovsky...Cheers!
Classical music goes from 1300 to 2023. Composers today still exist ! Like Camille Pepin a french female composer. Of course it's not traditional classical, it's contemporary so it's a bit less accessible... All eras are interesting.
1300? No, it's from around 400. The start of the medieval times. 1300 is too modern.
Romantic etc. is only discribing the time-period when they lived not the styl of ther music ;-)
" Erik Satie : romantic" lol
This is futile for so many reasons. Wikipedia "views" hardly indicate popularity, much less artistic relevance. Nor would it be of any interest to apply social media nonsense to (long gone) classical composers. Also, many people listed were not mainly composers but are rather looked up for their other occupations! Many are just famous instrumentalists (Clara Schumann). If you're really interested in popularity as in what classical music is played/ streamed today, there are statistics. This can be helpful if you want to dive into classical and start with the "hits". Makes more sense to go by piece and not by artist tho since many composers have huge catalogues.
Fanny Mendelssohn is another great female composer, her work is beautiful
Do you know tat the 5th of Betoven is the inofficial anthem of Japan?
Where is Hildegard von Bingen
Also, Bocelli is not even a composer, but a singer
There have been/are many female composers:
Clara Schumann
Florence Price
Fanny Mendelssohn (Sister of Felix)
Amy Beach
Doreen Carwithen
Just to name a few. . .
Galina Ustvolskaya
Lili Boulanger, Hildegard von Bingen
Theres always been modern music, plus that is not a very accurate list
Also bocelli is an opera singer
2:17 there was no “pop music” it was the only music
There was plenty of folk music as well, which would have been the 'pop music' of its era, just that little of it is written down or recorded. The majority of people would never have had the luxury of experiencing classical music.
First
Hans Zimmer?????? WTF????
Andrea Boceli???? He's not a composer. He's just an average singer who is popular because he's blind. And I can say that, I'm blind too. That's ot a criterium for talent.
