Nice, nice, nice! If you didn't build the rear kitchen unit, could you provide a link? If you did the build, would you be willing to share the plans ? TY for sharing.
We built it. Unfortunately my husband doesn't have a specs as he built it around what we had. Here's a more detailed video of the kitchen czcams.com/video/oQH9JUTRmPo/video.html
@@explorebylawrenceandairiel THANK YOU so much!!!
@@explorebylawrenceandairiel really nice I have a van just like yours greetings from Dallas 👍
We were backed up on a trail near Red Rock Canyon (Waterton) by a young grizzly. We had 2 cans of bear spray, thankfully we didn’t need to use it.
When this van's rockin - don't come knockin" !!
New drinking game....Every time he says "perfect" you have to take a shot. 😂
PERFECT!!
I was thinking the same! Lol
There comes a certain "Elegance" with true "Simplicity". This is almost a No build, BUILD. Lots of good tips and tricks in this video. Thanks for sharing, guys. Greetings from Ontario, Canada.
Looks like you two are having fun!!! Awesome!!!!
It's awesome how you converted a small size van to fit your needs & your knowing what you'll need to explore van life better in the sense of making adjustments as needed & as you go along. Finding tips & actually adding them to your conversion. Making it a little simple to work with & what's more beneficial for your living on wheels. I think it's awesome.
So everything is awesome, great and perfect. Got it!
You guys are awsome, you have a clean and comfortable set up, upgrade battery and figure out airflow, yes, you guys are Nov my along so nice!!! This has been very encouraging, especially bug barrier, bear spray with fog horn 👌
The AC solution is to get a Sienna Hybrid. It uses the big battery and the engine turns on when the battery gets low. An actual AC would use too much electricity, you’d need a generator.
Really nice build, looks great for two. I especially liked the bug screen, great idea, and the little fold-down iPad holder is such a smart touch. Thanks for showing the build. Good steady hand on the camera too!
I realllly like your setup! Blessings 🌻
This is such a well thought out build! 😍 Such a practical and functional design, love it!
Thank you!! 😊
I love this build! Great job
That was a very good informative video. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Great Kitchen Set Up 👍
Cool that I came across your video. Thank you for showing me your awning . We were camping next to you there.
Really glad you found us here in CZcams. It was nice meeting you at Waterton. All the best to you.
Love your kitchen!
Thank you!! 😊
I'm going to get a Sienna soon and hope to do similar to you. Thanks for the tips. New Subscriber. Liked. Cheers!
Its best one I have been seen❤
Nice set up
❤❤❤thanks for the idea
Thats amazing guys, live your life you only get it once
Thank you.
Nice set up 🙏🏼
Thank you! 🙂
Nice set up✌️😁
You have great ideas & a cool camper . We have a 2014 Sienna and we appreciate your tips . Best wishes from Daytona Beach , Florida .
Thank you and Good luck on your camper build. It will be fun and worth it.
Thanks for sharing.
Awesome 👍👍
Thanks 🤗
Lol.. you need a very special relationship to live longer than 3 weeks together like this.. NO privacy... NO solo time...
Nicely done☝
Thank you
well done sir
Joli !
Awesome!!!👠🚌👠
Just one question… is it perfect? Just teasing- looks so cool!
It was _just_ perfect
And yes, does look very cool :)
Very nice. Wish lighting was better to see. Thx for sharing. Didn't show the fan ?
Like your van ..may I suggest you get screens for your sliding doors magnetic closing. Keep bugs out and more air flow. Love your awning. Have a great time
Will do next time. Thanks for the suggestion.
I love your set up! I have heard some folks say not to have a gas tank in the van because of possible leaks. How did you get around that?
Only if u had a head or so space my friend like my lil star wagon has 'idk but for me having my head so close to the roof wouldn't feel right n a lil costafobic 'or how eva u spell it' but thats just me anyway 'cheers for the video buddy 'just lov theses lil home away from homes n not to mention it reminds me of a kid making lil cubby houses but theses r better bc there on wheel n can go anywhere n im sure thats why alot of men a ladies like doing this vanlife stuff n among other reasons but ya. anyway thanks again.
Thank you. We are having fun.
Can you make a video specifically on how you hung those curtain rods. I would like to do them so they don’t in any way change my new minivan I don’t want to stick Velcro on my minivan or anything like that that will change its original state
Great set up, that little gas bottle is illegal to keep inside the car though right?
Nice build but of you say perfect one more tome I’m gonna eat my own eyeballs
Love your setup, especially the kitchen. Did you build it or purchase it?
Thanks for watching. We made the kitchen.
What are you using to hold your ipad? Looks like that would be perfect for me.
Thanks for the video. Just wondering where you put your spear tire as it looks like you are using up the rear space for your kitchen and shelving area.
Hi Francis, Toyota Sienna's spare tire is underneath the van behind the passenger seat.
How are the white shelves held up in back of van ??
More than the van, I like the husband and the wife more, a good team. The wife is beautiful, intelligent, and knows how to work with the husband.
Husband: Come inside.
Wife: Come inside.
Husband: Come on inside.
This is a fantastic build! I have a Sienna and have been thinking about converting it into a camper for this summer. Where did you get your small roof fan?
We got it from Amazon
@@explorebylawrenceandairiel do you have a link? If I'm going to buy you should at least get some compensation for referring it.
did you buy that air-horn from amazon...
I'm going to see if i can get one from a sporting goods store..
thanks excellent idea
We bought it in Canadian Tire.

Thanks for sharing you camper van. Can you provide the link for the awning?
Here's the link.. www.amazon.ca/6-5L-Awning-Front-Extension-Truck/dp/B071YHMC5C/
Couldn't see the knife very well. What make is it?
Hi Lawrence and Airiel, I would like to add hard flooring over the floor in the middle area to make it easier to keep the floor clean. I was wondering if you were able to pull out the rollers that glide on the tracks for the middle row seats. Can you, or anyone else, tell me how you removed them? 😊
Hi Allyson, We did not removed those. We just put a carpet and then we built our bed frame over the top.
Life is crazy and it's about to get crazier. People need to get away and unplug.
Do you have a. Duel on the back kitchen eat area build? can you please tell me where you got your materials, while Marble looking wood to build this. I am a new subscriber and love your build.thank you
We use self adhesive marble looking floor tile for our kitchen. You can buy it in Home Depot.
COMFY
We are wondering where you bought the boxes that you use for clothes- the ones under the bed
We got it from IKEA for 9.99 CAD.
www.ikea.com/ca/en/p/skubb-storage-case-white-90294989/
Did you make or buy the thing that flips down from the ceiling and holds your iPad for movie viewing?
We just made it ourselves.
I just purchased a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan. I am hoping to get my hands on some design files (ideally I can open in TinkerCAD format .stl, .obj or .svg, or any drawings/diagrams/measurements of bed/cabinet/kitchen alternate setups etc) that I can take inspiration from modify to my personal liking to get the best result possible. I thought I might ask if you would be so kind as to forward any design files that you have that may help me, also if you are aware currently of any useful/necessary items for vanlife selling at a really good price/value I would very much appreciate any help/advice you can provide. Thanks and safe travels!
Unfortunately, we never thought about doing drawings or designs. We just built according to what we wanted. Please check the description box for the links of products we purchased and shared. Best of luck designing your van and share if you can. Cheers!
What material are you using to cover windows? Your recording seemed to cut that out.
We use Reflectix from Home Depot. You can buy it the roll.
What material did you use for the iPad holder sorry I forgot to ask.
it was a 1/8 " plywood and covered with cloth material using spray adhesive.
I have a Van that I just bought. How do you keep the back open without running down the battery? And having the lights shining on you?
On the front dash there is a dial that brightens or dim all your lights in your vehicle. Just dial it off so you all your lights for the doors wont come on when you open your doors. Then, it wont drain your battery.
Im looking for a comfy mattress what do you use and do you recommend it?
We bought ours from IKEA and it's very comfortable for sleeping, www.ikea.com/ca/en/p/haugesund-spring-mattress-medium-firm-dark-beige-50307309/
What awning brand is that. Love to install on my minivan odyssey. Thank you in advance.
It's Off Roading Gear Awning. We got it from Amazon. www.amazon.ca/6-5L-Awning-Front-Extension-Truck/dp/B071XX7NZ1/ref=sr_1_5?crid=1TZAB7U57UM4C&keywords=offroad%2Bgear%2Bsuv%2Bawning&qid=1643075882&sprefix=off%2Broad%2Bgear%2Bsuv%2Bawning%2Caps%2C100&sr=8-5&th=1
@@explorebylawrenceandairiel Did you have to buy any different hardware to mount your awning ? I ask bc I also have a 2013 Sienna. When I read the reviews, a lot of people complained about their frustration w the hardware not fitting. Thank you !
Please tell me about the roof vent/ fan. I'm interested in something smaller that the max air or fantastic fan.
We bought our fan from Amazon. Here's the link Roof Air Vent - www.amazon.ca/Ventline-VP-543-Smoke-Roof-Vent/dp/B00407CK5W/ref=sr_1_53?dchild=1&keywords=RV+fan&qid=1625444749&sr=8-53.
@@explorebylawrenceandairiel Thank you very much for the reply. Safe journeys.
@@MistySlocomb You're welcome. If you happen to be interested on how we installed our fan, here's our video czcams.com/video/kRu4Ez1Q-aQ/video.html . Thank you and all the best to you.
What size mattress do you have in the sienna?
Almost a queen size..few inches short. We cut a bit to fit in the van.
The problem with your situation is when it rains for a couple days or snows for months.
Pretty sure they just camp...not full time.
Yes, we use it for camping only not full time.
Every solution has its compromises. What they trade in bad weather livability they gain in ease of maneuverability and economical operation. It’s all about figuring out what qualities are important to you, and proceeding accordingly.
Kalergi couple
What year is your sienna
Sienna 2007
Where is the toilet?
We use the toilet in campgrounds. Or if none available we set up our outdoor toilet. This is how we do it czcams.com/video/p5Y2iIbXTKc/video.html
How much was the awning sir
It’s 399.99 CAD now in Amazon www.amazon.ca/6-5L-Awning-Front-Extension-Truck/dp/B071YHMC5C/ref=mp_s_a_1_15?crid=QCVD7NJYOPLD&keywords=suv+awning&qid=1654280273&sprefix=suv+awning%2Caps%2C104&sr=8-15
I love Toyota....and your valuable videos.
But wtf are they 🤔 thinking.
They have multitudes of Trim Levels.
Why don't they listen to the campers
Out Here???????
We love Toyotas Dependability
Why can't think give us.an
Empty Flat Cargo Van
No Seats, No.Console
AND EXTEND THE ROOF
It seems like it would be a much easier and cheaper build.
Just one more Trim Level
A Camp Model
Forgive me I feel there
Giving us the.middle finger

NONSENSE...CRAP WE DONT
NEED OR WANT.
I know, I feel obligated to store leather seats for the next decade.
VW Vanagon had camping figured out in the early 80s.
Not Jackery; they have one-third the battery life of a Bluetti.
Thanks for the reco. Maybe will try the Bluetti then.
@@explorebylawrenceandairiel The Bluetti's are surpassing Jackery in all the reviews, esp for the plugs. A few minor glitches. Can buy 800watt or 2000watt, no 1500watts.
