    Great build! best i have seen in a while. Just 1 suggestion, drill some breathing holes in your wooden bed panels. long term the moisture build up will create mold under the mattress with out them. It was a big job fixing this issue after it already happy

      @@jarvans6495 love this! I just bought a 1998 Sienna, the previous owner got as far as removing all but the front passenger seat; laid down foam insulation board with laminate flooring glued on; she had a friend build a simple narrow bed frame with 3/4: ply on bottom and top! It is not attached in any way and as I have a service dog I can't risk it moving around, its pretty heavy if I have to put the brakes on! It is also so tall I can't sit on the bed without bending my head over and I am only 5 ft tall! So I want to get it replaced or adapted. I guess the 1inch foam also raises the bed frame up that bit higher. The places where seats and seat belts were attached, on floor, are all covered up with the foam and flooring as it is one piece, I wondered about removing it and cutting holes then reinstall, so I could attach things securely to fastenings.. How do you attach your bed to the van? and the 'cabinet, too. Will be thankful for any advice! Definitely going to get some crates for storage, brilliant idea.

    Wow watching these and my wife’s ‘99 sitting in the street has 105k contemplating on refreshing it. I must say it’s a great foundation having a 3.0L 1 Mz-fe engine pretty bulletproof. Nowadays one can pick up for less than 4K.

  • @SMafam5
    @SMafam5 Před rokem +2

    I think Drifta has organizer bags for inside milk crates…some with clear tops to see contents easily. Good for items you don’t want getting caught in milk crate holes or falling through. I think there are N.A. distributors.

      As a family who camps I have found it’s more of an actual holiday with a permanently packed kitchen - especially a utensil roll (that hangs) with the usual lifter, tongs, spoon along with a couple knives in sheaths & a thin stack of sporks. Scissors!
      We have been able to stack SS dishes in with nested pots (removeable handle). And a bathroom bag of spices.
      T-fal Ingenio set of 3 SS nested pots cheaper than magma. Joseph Joseph nesting containers.

    I don't know why the content creators of these builds don't include links to the products they have used, such as the solar panels and converters, switches, portable stoves, sink and hook-ups, etc. It seems like it would be good for the viewers and, if they were affiliate links, the video owners could make a little extra commission too.
