Mega Trucks Go Powerline Mudding from time to time in New York. Watch some of these Monster Mud Trucks try to conquer the Powerline Mud Hole in this northern state. This mud is Deep and only one the 4x4s made the pass down and back and it wasn't a Truck! Sorry about the shaky footage the stabilization feature on the camera quit working before this event. If you like good old fashioned mud trucks bogging then this is the video for you! They should make this a bounty hole and put some money on it. I would want to be the guy that drew first. Most of the cost is the motor, unless you go diesel. 20k should get you close
daves f150 with the cummins is a deffinately a badass truck. hes local to where im from and ive seen him in some tug of wars and hes won each time

It sounds awesome when it’s on it but I for one can’t stand the sound of a motor bouncing off the limiter or hitting valve float. It’s almost like chalk on a chalkboard to me lol
That powerline bogging is sooooooo fun! Done a little bit here in Michigan, but with our Quads (2002 Grizzly). If a bunch of MI guys did like NY, they'd be in jail and our equipment impounded. Prolly cost us well over $1000 in bail, fines and getting our equipment back! Would love to hear any MI guys that have done it and not got caught, or been caught and what were the consequences?

Auto Image Stabilization crapped out on the camera. Not completely his fault. I use a shoulder rig usually to keep things stable.

The camera was abused during shipping which messed up it's auto stabilization feature. We have sense removed the camera from use.

just out of curiosity, and I have been mudding and four wheeling for years, but do they win money with these mega trucks? I've been building 4x4's for so long but I can't figure out if the win money, or they're just doing it for fun. Because I know how much this shit costs to build. I know because I'm a welder/fabricator and have been doing this most of my life and I couldn't afford a mega truck. well not if I want to stay married. lol
It is a hobby. Just like most types of racing. You can win money but it will never offset the cost of the vehicles
