Big Trucks Mud Bogging - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Some guys (like myself) run tractor tires backwards for better deep water/mud traction. In some conditions they clean out better and grab better. Did you notice all the truck running them that way were going forward faster instead of crawling. Running them backwards also keeps the tires from wanting to dig.

I still don't know where the Slough 2.0 is located... Are you working on some more videos from this event still? Truck Pull or how about the up hill rock climb? Let me know when you do and I'll add them to my playlist because I did film these events, but I didn't get all of the runs, it would be nice to add them to the playlist making it more complete.

Yeah took us a while to find it in the mess lol. I really didnt get that much footage from bricks, it was such a muddy mess getting around that It was difficult to film. I missed a lot but enjoy watching your footage of the madness.

Pretty sure the slough was man made for this event, not much living in there. Air pollution is a far stretch, I bet a garbage truck puts out more emissions than these rigs.

Cuz none of the carburetors get under water. Only rides with normal tires and no super lifts would need a snorkel. This is mudding! Not scuba diving!
Its just a thought but if you put a solid locker in the front. Steering outside of the mud will be a bitch. Just a guess

Why are a lot of their directional tires mounted the wrong way around? I thought you're supposed to point the V of the pattern forward so it self cleans?
I think it helps with the swimming...
Vishnu R (this is fully a guess) it might help with the swimming, but maybe also going in reverse, if the trucks get stuck in deep mud, etc... so they have maybe a worse time going forward, but should they get stuck, they have a higher chance to be able to reverse out?

+S619jensen Pretty much, there is a lot of air in them, enough to get them buoyant.
The 55 or so Chevy.... Is that trubo charged? It's a straight 6 right? That was way too much wheel speed for the 100 hp those old trucks made. It was really cool to see though. I'm jealous that we don't get any mud in Cali.
Thanks for watching! Not to sure on the motor specs, all these trucks where pretty much skin and bones with big tires. They had the insides gutted to just a seat and steering wheel ready to float the slough.

Chemdog Not a chance. 1) it doesn't sound like a diesel. 2) it doesn't sound like a 2 stroke. 3) a 653T weighs 1,600 pounds and would completely mess up the weight bias and the nose would sink. 4) It wasn't smoking. Except for the early 80's military 653's with efi, they all smoke under power and with throttle changes. That is why the green smokers were banned by the EPA.

Somebody needs to teach dude driving first truck how to drive. Lol dodge sucks. Have owned a couple always had problems with them specifically tyranny problems and heat. WORTHLESS
I will never understand why none of the trucks that do this have real horsepower or locked diffs. Looks to me like a bunch of cobbled together junk. I am not impressed. Just my 2 cents.
