    Why am I still ovulating while on the Pill? It’s only been 2 months I was taking it . I stopped because we decided to try. Doc said to stop when I’m ready and I should have no problem . Reason being he said that is because I went through two surgeries removing tumors and tissues that was preventing me from getting pregnant. Well I ovulated on the 30th of October, did our thing (I was still taking my pill) I recently stopped on the 13th . I had some ovulation discharge again just a few days ago . I bleed when we were in the middle .. but nothing after that throughout my day . When should I start to wanna test?

      I've read that the shot makes it more difficult to get pregnant. But in all honesty I believe all hormonal methods of BC make it more difficult. I was on the combination pill for 4 years. Been off of it for 8 months and still no blessing 😢

    It's like that, no matter if you’re 40 or whatever, after reading Dobbie Nerkstrol's guide, I ended up pleasantly surprised. Within 60 days anyone can get pregnant, feeling the changes in your body the first few weeks. After go’ogling her I understood it's not a miracle kind of thing like the title suggests, but you can bet you'll boost your chances.

    I was on contraceptive pill for about 4-5 years the I got changed to the mini pill as i was getting really bad headaches. My periods were not regular at all sometimes i wouldn't have one for months. I have been off my pill now for a few weeks and i am ttc, how long should I wait to take a test as my cycle is not regular and I cannot tell for sure when I'm ovulating, should I wait until my periods are regular then properly try or take a test as I have a tracker app I can see what days I'm supposed to be but not accurate as no periods 🤷‍♀️ please help!!

    • @pearently
      @pearently  Před 4 lety +1

      Hi Angela Grace. Regular menstrual cycles are very important when it comes to conception. Most women cannot get pregnant if their cycles are not regular because this usually means ovulation is not happening. I recommend that you wait until your cycles return to normal before taking a test. If your periods do not return to a regular cycles in 6 months, then I recommend talking to your OB/GYN about how to get back on track.

    Hi, I’ve come off birth control pills after taking it for only 2 months before I had Nexaplonon. I’m trying to get pregnant and I typically have my period every 4 weeks. My question is how soon can I get pregnant and when is it time to worry?

    • @pearently
      @pearently  Před 4 lety

      Ovulation must return for you to conceive. It can take a week or several months for ovulation to return after the nexplanon is removed and the birth control has been stopped. Ovulation can be determined by an ovulation kit, regular cycles, or pregnancy. If ovulation does not return in six months, you could schedule an appointment with an OB/GYN to discuss options.

    • @pearently
      @pearently  Před 4 lety

      This depends on when you stopped getting injections. After stopping Depo, it can take up to 12 months for ovulation to return, but it can return before 12 months. Once an IUD is removed, a woman can get pregnant immediately.

      @pearently  Před 4 lety

      Hi Richelle. Make an appointment to see your OB to jumpstart ovulation.
      40 may not be too old to get pregnant. There are risks for abnormal genetics in pregnancy after age 40. Talk to your doctor about specific risks. Best wishes.

It’s only been 1 week off the pill but man am I worried I’m not able to conceive! Is there anything I can take to help? I’m taking prenatals as I heard this is a good idea before pregnancy

      Hello @Blackrose 29813 I would love to help. The best thing you can do to assist conception is to lose some weight. Try to get your BMI less than 30 (calculate online). Also start tracking ovulation (release of your egg) and timing of intercourse (sex). Watch these videos for assistance. czcams.com/video/jzOcysO-fCk/video.html and czcams.com/video/7x7QPFE65PE/video.html . Let me know if you have further questions.

    • @pearently
      @pearently  Před 4 lety

      Hi Summaiya. Yes, it is possible to conceive right after stopping the birth control pill. However, this is not what I see in my practice. I usually see that it takes a few months for ovulation to return. Each woman is different. You need to be prepared that conception can occur right away, but don't be discouraged if conception does not happen right away.

    Hi, planning on taking my last birth control pill in 1 week, finishing out my pack and having my last period. The birth control pill I am on is called Syrnox, very low dosage hormones in it. My question is, is there any risk to start trying right after getting off birth control? Does that increase the risk of having a miscarriage? Or, would it be best to wait to start for one month to have one regular period off of birth control?

    • @pearently
      @pearently  Před 4 lety +1

      Hello bffabfl. It is safe to start trying to conceive right after stopping the pill. However, it takes a few months for most women to begin ovulation and regulate their menstrual cycles. So, conception might occur on your first try, but it also may take a few months. Best wishes.

      Hi Arbee. Even if you don't finish a pack of Birth Control they can affect ovulation. The best way to know is to try to conceive. Your cycles might be normal, and you might already be ovulating. However, there is no way to know unless you get pregnant. Best wishes.

      @@graceymaina3924 It can take up to 18 months for ovulation to return after birth control injection (Depo-Provera). You need to be having regular periods (periods come around the same time each month), and this usually means that you are ovulating. You need to make an appointment with your OB/GYN to talk about fertility options. I recommend a medication called Clomid to start. • @pearently
      @pearently  Před 4 lety

      Getting pregnant after stopping the birth control pill depends on when your ovulation returns. This time frame is different for every woman. Some women begin ovulating soon after they stop taking the birth control pill, but ovulation can take several months to return for other women. A regular cycle is the best way to track ovulation. You should start taking a prenatal vitamin now, have intercourse, and wait to see. Best wishes.
