It is known as the "Hub City" due to its geographic centrality in Los Angeles County. Neighborhoods in Compton include Sunny Cove, Leland, downtown Compton, and Richland Farms. The city has a high poverty rate and is generally a working-class community. Furthermore, Compton is known for its high crime rate, but strong culture.

Have Cleaner streets than parts of my city here Philly . Had a friend lived on McKinley Ave in Compton and went to his house and who I visited when I left camp Horno . I saw I a few people that were white nothing like Hollywood and media shows you but watch yourself around certain areas and what you wear and do . I had Eagles Jersey on lol
I like the information tabs at the bottom you were giving us, I felt I had a better grasp after reading a couple. I never knew it was that big of a latino scene there, granted I know mexico is near but still never knew it was that deep in that specific area because pop culture and movies made it seem otherwise. So thanks, cause Im not racist but because of the movies I would have visited compton with the mentality that it's only blacks there lol saved me the embarrassment 😂 lol
