"Can't wait! Counting down the days until I move from Miami, FL, to Omaha, NE.
Thought about Ohio at first, but once I discovered Nebraska, I fell in love with it."
I love Omaha Nebraska beautiful city friendliest peoples in America good life good everything ❤️❤️❤️❤️💜💜💜💜💖💖💖🦋🦋💚💚💙💙🤍🤍😐🧡🇺🇸👍
Omaha looks nice, hello from Milwaukee.
Born & raised in south Omaha, moved out in 1994 , but Omaha will always be home GBR !!
I love Nebraska
My hometown ❤️
Can’t wait for the new Mutual of Omaha tower to be built it will be the tallest in Nebraska and the surrounding states once finished
bigger than anything in KCMO?
Yes it will be taller than KC tallest building, I did fail to mention Colorado is the only surrounding state where the new building won’t be higher
@@efil4kizum Omaha's current tallest is already taller than anything in KCMO.
@@nedodger408 intresting! i would never have known this
O wow! Lot goin on in the booming city of Omaha!
Nice tour of Omaha NE
This city is incredible. A surprising fact is that it has one of the highest GDP per capita in the country.
Intresting
I miss living here . So much to do , but not enough to do in one day I swear
I just moved here like a month and a week ago.
This must've been filmed early on a Sunday mid-morning, it seems very quiet out
Cool! One of the cities I requested. Thanks!
(I'm sure you were going to do it anyway. 😅)
Not the nicest areas of Omaha, but oh well. We live in an enclave of Omaha called Ralston, and I really do love it. That said, when my wife and I retire, Florida here we come!
I love highways and the bridge sound cool
I kept seeing signs for the river front, but didn’t see any river front. Did I miss it?
LOL @ all the signs directing people towards parking. How can anybody miss the parking? There’s so much of it.
at about 3:25, the car turns right, but if he wouldve just gone straight down that hill he wouldve entered the riverfront zone. lots of new stuff going on down there, and the traffic gets really congested thats probably why he didnt go down there
Also, the only good view you will get he would have to drive into Carter Lake, Iowa. Not really a good driving path near the river, only for pedestrians
Lived there at Central Park Tower Farnam St besides the library, I was Asian and no car so just walking/riding the bus all my life even at winter and at pass 5pm no ones in the downtown basically just like the scenes in Walking Dead. It's basically kind of alive on Summer. It's pretty safe & quiet but kind of depressing in my experience at least. That was 13 years ago.
and those buildings im not sure seems most are pretty empty all the time jajaja missing my life there though so many memories and cool people
A lot has happened since. A lot of new arts and stores have moved in. It's way more active now.
@@ehenningsen and the street surfacing everywhere is worse than it has EVER been!
i visited during covid july 2020 so theres so much people around even lockdown lol. honestly now i appreciated and miss my life there so much simple and quiet and cool nebraskan than where i am now shitty cali.
Did a bunch of comments get deleted just now?
i just know Terence Crawford .... The king boxing 146 Pound
I've always wanted to go to Omaha, especially for CWS. I heard Omaha loves it when LSU reaches to CWS.
Omaha hates it when you visitors crowd the city
You meant to say, Texas A&M, right? Kidding, see you this fall at Kyle Field. Happy day 😂
@@hikerhobby1204 Wrong! Omaha residents said themselves that if LSU isn't in the CWS, Omaha feels empty.
@@hikerhobby1204 I do say both Aggies & Vols fans were both deep in Omaha.
@@davidjaerobins4180 Hum, I live in Omaha😜 Kids graduated from Texas A&M. I was just playing with you.
Can you do Chicago please?
Soon
You trying to get him killed
I love the people in Omaha Nebraska that love to worship Male Feet❤❤❤ love Omaha Nebraska.
Sunday or more like Saturday
Shoutout to Cornhusker my fans💪✌️😺🏃🐮🦮🐈⚾️🏈🏀🎱🎾⛸️🏑🤼♂️🏌️♀️🚵♂️🗽🏘️🌇🖥️💚💜❤️🩷💛💖🩵
Nice tour. But man, your driving frightens me. Aside from speeding, you made 12 illegal turns and went through many red lights without stopping.
It isn't illegal to turn right on red. 😅
It is if you don't come to a complete stop first.
👍🏼
“Somewhere in middle America”
Counting crows?
Woah towers 0:05
did u think omaha had no towers?
... you are looking at the 3rd COLDEST large city (population at least 400k) in the USA... only Minneapolis and Milwaukee are colder big cities compared to the big O. ... during the winter months
I just looked that up, Omaha isn’t even in the top 13 coolest cities.
@@hikerhobby1204 where were you looking? if the population threshold is set at 250k (instead of 400K) Omaha is number 5 coldest large city during the winter months
And Omaha isn’t really cold at all. It’s only cold late December to early February.
Yeah. The threshold is based on the top 50 largest core cities for the coldest stretch. Most of the largest 50 are in the south, near the coast.
So that data is massively skewed.
This past January '24 it was about 15 below zero for many days and almost a foot of snow... I checked Milwaukee and Minneapolis temps on same days and they were quite a bit warmer then
I’m from Omaha. Lived in every part of the city however I was raised near 29th and Pinkney where my father lives to this day. We are both retired Omaha cops. Moved to Lincoln when I retired. I’m 62 years old and some of my fondest memories were 24th street or the deuce. Stone soul picnics at Carter Lake. As time went on it changed but when I look back it was solid. I lived in south Omaha as well. Stratford Square and it was a true melting pot. I’m still an athlete and was back in the day at Central High. Omaha has a rich history of athletes coming out of all parts of the city but especially north and south Omaha .
North and South Omaha? So basically where all the thugs and criminals are lol
Stafford squares is a shit hole now
14:57 people who didnt see my house
👇
People smile and say hello and goodbye, please and thank you. Which is very aggressive to a west coast liberal
Do they even have buses?
That’s real cute yes we have buses 🙄
They were....in the video...
i don't think they are used all that much though by the public
or did you mean yellow school buses LOL
@@efil4kizumas someone who resides in Omaha right now there are a lot of buses they run every 15 mins
lots. but who wants to use urban public transportation? only bums and questionables use the busses. we also have electric-assisted public bicycles which are very handy for getting around eastern omaha
SAC CITY, ret.
Certainly not one of the best streets! You could gave included Midtown. Beautiful....then downtown. Get a map of great sites. Including the gorgeous bridge over the river to Iowa
Map???
No no i like who you are babe
Peeps in Omaha are horrible drivers lol.cant drive for beans! Its funny that the times ive been to Omaha ive witnessed accidents, thats just not good!
Nice city
Do not take drugs.
I left the USA at 79 to a safer and less expensive country. USA is dangerous. And expensive.
End of our marriage. Deal breakers..
For the good times Al Green
It's your MAN and never say boy or girl. Respect yourselves.
Everything is less expensive in Queretaro. With my USA pension. The minimum wage is $8.00 per 12-24 hours and 6 days
Not per hour, but per day.
Looks boring as hell
It’s not. There’s actually a bunch of nice things to do here. Our zoo is considered one of the best in the world, we also have a semi - pro hockey team and division 1 college hockey, and we also have the college baseball World Series in Omaha every year, just to name a few things going on here.
@@videogameplayer0552 don't forget Husker football in Lincoln during the football season!
@@efil4kizum That too! Personally, I’m not into football, but it’s definitely very big here in Nebraska.
I’ve lived in many cities. Detroit, GR, El Paso, Chicago and Omaha. Omaha actually has more going on than most cities. But it does so without too much population hindering. It’s a great city overall.
