I love that you talked about how you and Janni split up your time with the kids. As a Dad in a "co-parenting" situation with my ex wife, it's so important to be able to work together so the kids benefit and get as much time with each of you as possible. Also the new outdoor kitchen looks great!!
This location is sooooooo beautiful. It’s like a dream! Outdoor kitchen is a perfect set-up. Watching the kids with the pizza dough was amazing -happy kids 100% !!!!!
That was like a Home Depot without the lumber. Hopefully that grill is rated to be against lumber and you don’t burn the entire thing down 😂. It’s really funny as to what Jon’s channel has turned into and I love it 😂. DIY Jon is the best.
They have lumber as well. Proper heaven for guys. Just tools and fun stuff. But the lumber is cheaper where jon went.

I would definitely stain and seal that outdoor kitchen so the wood doesn’t warp or start to rot after a rainy or winter season!
Also as someone else mentioned, check the temp of the wood with a laser gun during cooking to make sure that wouldn’t isn’t likely to combust.
Jon i've been watching you since near the beginning but I haven't been here for a few years and it's great to see how you have grown(mellowed?!) into an outstanding gentleman, so awesome to see a loving father with his children, bellissimo 🙏🤜
I love this location and property and think you have the perfect feel there. An outdoor kitchen is great as long as the views from inside are not cut out. That view with the trees is spellbounding and more could you want. The house is almost camouflaged by its design and with lights on looks amazing. The house was made to celebrate the views. Open and aware of the water and surrounds and even in winter you have amazing views.

Jon, this is incredibly impressive, honestly. The fact that you put your mind to build this, accomplished that task and then you provided a working area to utilize with your children which teaches them how to make and cook food, it's astounding. Janni should rethink the separation & see that you are an extraordinary man and father.

Fun to do things yourself tho, But you should protect to wood around the grill. Should be fairly easy to fix

Perfect to do with the children and well done Ewan for making the building seem easy. Perfect and simple. Now you can cook outside and enjoy the views and perfect for parties and eves and saves messing up the kitchen. Well done. So good to see the children and pizza dough is better home made.
As someone who lives with chronic illnesses, which according to conventional medicine are not curable, but I will heal and the whole thing also has an effect on mental health - some symptoms here too... I find it all the more inspiring how much energy, drive, motivation & joy he has - certainly once in the videos - whether it has a connection with his ADHD & the medication there (does anyone know if he takes Ritalin, or what exactly?), I don't know, but I am very grateful for these videos.
I think the property with the trees etc is very nice and I'm curious - the current one is relatively small by his standards and where will the indoor playground go - in its own house? - what the new house will look like! I'm really looking forward to it. And another question; will he demolish all that once he's built the new house, including this outdoor kitchen, or will there be a covered seating area with a big barbecue or even a fire bowl or whatever? Ah yes & Moaci - very nice shots (macro that is) of the screws etc! And as for the children - I'll leave the rest/my opinion for now, BUT IN ANY CASE YOU ARE A GOOD FATHER who gives them a good childhood (ok, anyway - even if they are in nursery a lot?) & lets them do what we adults should do more - learn, try things out, make mistakes - just BE A CHILD. So Jon, if you're reading this; thanks for everything & would love to talk to you again (yes, once very briefly) - but longer. 😌🫂🙏♥️

Great job on the outdoor kitchen, but please put some kind of countertop on the structure. I wouldn’t prep food on that pressure treated wood. The chemicals in that wood are super carcinogenic and not good for you…

European lumber looks so much better than the garbage available at home depot
If there is one thing Sweden has, its quality Lumber. 90% of the country area is covered in forests. And the Lumber industry literally built the country
Every time ive been traveling the interstates in the US ive seen trucks with flat deck trailers carrying Swedish lumber packages, especially on the east coast going down to Georgia/Florida. Demand for high quality lumber must be high since they import it all the way from Sweden. Kinda rad thought when you see your local saw mill company logo on a US trailer on the other side of the world 😎
@@Halibrand whenever i need lumber for projects around the house i have to sort through wavy wood and only about 10% of it is actually usable
@@Roll_With_Me Yeah ive visited a few Home depots and seen their lumber. We wouldnt even use their quality of lumber to build chicken coops here 😆 But to be honest our boards was of better quality 10-20 years ago, nowdays 20% of the boards are wavy aswell as cracked and have other defects.

build metal plates at the ends of the wood to protect it from the heat, and have your utensils having off the edge on hooks from it.

Metal wire brush can be very dangerous its better to buy plastic ones from charbroil and you use it before or after the grill is cold..for kids sake i think its the best 🙏🏻😍
