PS just to let you know when you have finished always leave the bucket on the ground it is under pressure when you leave it up and if the hydraulic fail it will fall.
In new excavators you have something called back valve that makes it not fall when you loose pressure

Absolutely right. During my time in the building trade in HBG, the arms were fully stretched and the bucket on the ground facing down. It'll also last longer at least with Åkerman machines.
I like the direction this channel is going, the progression of the DIY stuff is super interesting. Swe >>> Marbella any days, hopefully when the kids grow up a bit Jon would have more time travel around again

Top tip : Always place the bucket on the ground when machine stationary - incase a fault in the hybraulic-system with a result of loss of pressure (hazard) :)
This needs more thumbs up to get attention. Would you suggest a hard hat be worn as well? Walking by thsta digger at the wrong height could be dangerouse. I'm not sure if there is a safety course one has to take before they own an excavator but there should be.
Helmet/hardhat is less important than "bucket on ground" but if there is a ground-crew working around/with the machine, hardhats all around!

Ah yes, I'm so excited to see what the whole plot looks like in the end, and hope he screens it off a bit - I've never driven an excavator this size (even those in parks, so toys, I can't remember, but I'm sure I have), but nice to see you so happy, Leon (and Moaci anyway haha!) likes it too - nice what you do for them. Hope it looks clean in the end with all the trimmings, you have space down there too in the big square (hope there are still screens, walls/hedges, whatever?) and are building a big house - with an indoor playground - yeah, where is that stuff anyway? And when will you start building the house?

Ett tips är att i vinter ställer du grävmaskinen i snön, binder en pulka eller liknande i grävarmen, och sedan snurrar du barnen runt runt med grävmaskinen!! Testade det i vintras och det var en stor succé! 😂❤
