Most jobs in the UK allow you to take non paid sabbatical leave e.g. between 6-12months, once you pass 6 months probation or after being at the company for 2 years
@@sneakersonfeet9045 Not if it prevents a full burnout and loosing good employees for good, especially if they've become a carer to a dying loved one, thats precious time they'll never get back and all the company has to do is here a temp or contractor on a pro-rata /FTC basis.
For those who barely make enough for fixed essentials plan a long weekend or use earned vacation time as a Sabbatical Travel can be within your state, city, town the State over. Just take time to recharge YOU’RE DOING GREAT!!
Nope! So right now social media income for me is very unstable and I did not want to add additional stress of focusing on monetization so it wasn't factored into my planning
I wouldn’t add it in since it’s variable if one month is good it’s a bonus that’s it I only count my paycheck not other money that comes in it make saving and life easier
Quitting your job is not taking a sabbatical! Does she even know the meaning of sabbatical? A sabbatical is paid leave: you still have a paid job that you come back to! Another person that uses words without knowing the mean of the word.
@@cocomalonee she is a personal finance youtube channel so I dont think it is unrealistic to ask. She can decide for herself if she wants to disclose it or not. Some people are worried about outlining their finances but they usually dont start personal finance youtube channels.

@@cocomalonee yeah I dont think she really needs to highlight her actual income but just how much burn she is expecting. Idk itd just be interesting to see if I would have enough for that, but honestly i think a sabbatical for me probably couldnt last more than 4 months because id like to allow for at least funds for another 3 months of expenses saved.

It's a shame the USA isn't the same

Wow!! America pay attention
America believes that everything is permanent… that’s their biggest mistake.
