Part two!
How come nobody commented
If you attempt this again, you gotta bring a Korok with you. Can't make a journey like that without a co-pilot.
🤣🤣🤣
Not a great time to make jokes but yeah funhyv
@@Blazerod. ?
Drop it inside death mountain
miss oppurtunity he shouldve collected koroks along the way edit: he should do it again but collect every korok in the game without touching the ground
Just so you know, your 8 batteries can be upgraded to a second layer once you get them, so in order to be able to buy big batteries from the constructs you would have to get 4.200 crystallised charges.
You could shrine steal the electric fan from the shrine in the middle of the swirly beach path at the akkala region. With precious design, you could have a constant flying machine
I will test this out, thanks for the idea!
Yeah I also made a machine that when the fan are about to die I shoot an arrow at a floating stone and then I go and replace the fans I’m going to try to use this may work or may not if it does work though it will take several hours to fly all the way around
I’m going to keep testing this
How would you power it? Shock emitters expire after 30 minutes and electric swords don't seem to do it.
@@KingX Does electric chuchu jelly output electricity?
Never knew Zonai Fans could also disappear.
However, I believe you can try and steal some shrine fans for a probable continuous flight.
Also, I want to point out, Large Zonai Charges works like the yellow stamina food we eat.
By that I mean, if you use the Large charge when you're about to just run out, not only will it give you the 20 second charge, but it will also refill all maximum battery you have, as in this example, it will refill all 6 batteries (Two filled maximum batteries) when used almost at the last second like the yellow stamina food.
I built myself a hoverbike to fly around and gather koroks. The fans do disappear, but only after 30 minutes of use. Steering sticks never disappear.
they despawn after 30 minutes
...I had no idea that fans could expire.
I had this discussion in my discord and everyone I talked to said the same thing!
I was quite SHOCKED as well 😐
I only found out because my airbike would fall apart after a long while in the depths.
Honestly it's so easy to make flying machines and the parts are pretty cheap, so it's kind of insane they expire after a while at all.
WHAT?????
Fun fact for the large zonai charges, if you use one as your battery is jear zero, it FULLY replenishes all of your batteries no matter how much you have, as well as does the overcharge effect it has. There's also alot more battery spaces than what it looks like the pack can hold, but i won't spoil the details.
I've seen someone make a deployable small aircraft that breaks off of a larger one, could be useful to explore that
I have seen something similar, I am just not sure how to pull it off. That will require a lot of testing.
@Teejaytrisket I saw a design like that it used a battery as a temporary connection point but it was for a land and sky drone so it only last as long as the battery last so you can't just toggle it
@@joeywillams3081 well that’s a bit unfortunate.
can you describe how it is? like is the bigger aircraft made with multiple wings? does it detach with batteries? I wanna know that sounds cool
@@Teejaytrisket some tips. If you upgrade batteries to max you can buy big batteries. You just need to dupe alot
Actually allow me to give you some advice.
You can glue two chests together and autobuild that Infront of the lynels in the underground colloseum.
The lynels will try to break the chests but cannot. They'll just stand there and scream constantly without attacking, even if you attack them.
If you wish to save arrows, use a shield fused with a wing. Shield jumping will allow you gain extra height. Enough to hop onto the lynel's back and kill it without expending any durability.
They'll drop about 20 charges per lynel. There are five lynels there.
So that's 100 charges per run of the colloseum.
After killing them find a tunnel blocked by rocks.
Make a save.
Place down a fan and use it to glide up.
Go into bullet time and fire a ton of opals into the rocks with the multishot bows you gained until the game starts crawling from lag.
Load your previously made save, this will force the game into a blood moon respawning the lynels.
The lynels also drop more then 6 zonite making the chest autobuild basically free and allowing you to sell the leftovers for more charges.
The idea I had when the fans disappeared was to have the aircraft carry another aircraft, and to build it in such that when the fans disappear and everything starts falling, you fall and land on the second aircraft and continue flying. Though the comment suggesting the fan from shrine would be much easier. Great video btw, I loved all the little things like the debris screaming and tulins meat arrow.
When he said "I only have 2 of the 8," I had a lil chuckle to myself.
What you could do is right after your aircraft despawn, go into air bullet time and shoot an hover platform with an arrow right under you. Land on your hovering platform shoot one more or more hover platforms around you to make space and then use autobuild to recreate your aircraft. That way you can restart your journey without even touching the floor
Lmao you took so long to use large zonai charges. The moment I saw you duping them I thought "just make a hoverbike and use large zonai charges to fly around. The bike is energy efficient and fast as is"
Yeah I just found out about the hoverbike meta, if it can go around the full map in under 30 minutes it’s going to be my go to method for the next run.
@@Teejaytrisket I will try aswell
Btw you can get full battery slots within 30 min - 1 hour
1: duplicate 900 large zonait
2: go to large main mine in depths and buy the large crystallized charges
3: teleport back to the same mine (this restocks the charges)
4: repeat
{btw idk if this works past version 1.1.1}
The man stated that he has INTERGRITY 😇
Mighty zonai charges decrease at a constant rate. If you have 1 fan or 21 they will decrease at the same rate. So a flying machine with 10 fans on both sides could easily complete this challenge!
This is a good possibility, but you would have to do it in under 30 minutes before the fans disappear. This whole run took roughly 1 hour and 20 minutes. I will test this out maybe there is a good ratio of fans to speed before adding too many fans becomes counter productive.
@@Teejaytrisket btw, you can drop a zonai wing while gliding, then attach a rocket (45 degrees) to get infinite height as long as you have enough rockets and wings 😊
@@karpholmes6942 this sounds wild!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@Teejaytrisket you can drop wings and jump on them most efficiently by stopping your z and x speed with the para glider, then, while gliding, you take out your zonai wing and immediately start moving forward (towards the wing) you should have no trouble getting on to it, just executing the prior steps
TOTALLY NERVE WRACKING!!! 🤪
it doesnt really take forever for the zonai battery upgrades. You will spend quite a chunk of time in the depths, but you can easily get like 600 charges every in game day i believe. 15 large zonaite = 100 crystallized charges per abandoned mine. This along with the 4 bosses you can rebattle for 400 crystallized charges + 20 crystallized charges per yiga hideout adds up reallllly fast.
there are multiple places you can re-fight bosses. 3 per boss.
Oh there's 12 or 16 boss rematches around the depths, in total, actually
if youre still on the first version, you can dupe zonai parts by being way too close to the wall and facing away from it before holding 10 devices and hitting B and Y at the same time.
I still have yet to update my game from the initial release build so I can definitely use this glitch 😉
@@Teejaytrisket You don't even have to do all that. You can hold just a single part while standing, just gotta hit B+Y. No funky positioning, gliding, or shield surfing required.
@@Nam0Ereh0Won but that drops it instead of keeping it in your inventory, also it only works for me when i have more than 5 because more data to load
No one tell him you can duplicate zonai devices too, like big batteries 👀
man i knew where this was going when you said you spent 12 minutes to reach tarrey town, when i explored the depths with my flying machine the fans suddenly disappeared after 30 mins of use so i feel ya
props to you for finishing it even if you failed the challenge tho
Great video man I loved the music choices and your humor I was rooting for you till the end you’ve earned yourself a like and sub
Teejaytriskt: no I ran off my flying machine
Me: use recall
good idea, but he was midair
@@thatstardewguy3833 when he landed he could've done
I don't know why but I keep forgetting about recalls existence when I need it.
i mean the blue lynel coming out of no where smacking you at 15:30 was comedy gold lmao
i remember when i first found out the fans could expire, it was when i was traversing the depths with my hoverbike. i was so surprised to see that the fans actually do expire, but at least they last such a long time 😭
You did not fail, you learned a lesson. This was an amazing test if will and determination! Congratulations on your achievement!
You calling the beams “4x4s” made me have the most visceral physical reaction lmao
I admire you trying this at such an early state of the game and with only a basic understanding of the game! Great job!
You know, depending on the profile picture for neptune, the death mountain bit is completely in character
Amazing how you kept going, respect!
there's 3 things you need to know:
1.in old game version(before 1.1.2) you can duplicate zonai capsules like duping items, as dropping parts without consuming the capsule.(do it on the big battery, save a lot of time)
2.while in the air, you can attach a hovering platform capsule on an arrow, shot it downwards, it will activate after a little distance(if you haven't run out of battery), then you can land on it.
while standing on the corner of it, you can drop a rocket, attach the rocket onto the platform, then you can get easy movements.
3. you can power off the flying machine ,then spamming rewind to make it stay in the air, while your battery recharging.
--
so, the easiest way to make the run would be:
1.build a 'normal' wing+fan flying machine
2.fly until it expire
3.shot out a platform,
4.build another flying machine on the platform,
5.hold it with rewind while jumping onto it.
6.fly until it expire
7.repeat
--
also, if you want to make the run in just one vehicle.(like no rebuilds)
some of the temples have very powerful 'electrical' fans and/or special 'electricity battery' in it,
you can get them out with blueprint, then power them up with electricity dragon heads.
in theory, by alternating between zonai and electricity power you can make a perpetual motion machine.
and they don't despawn like wings or fans.
it's a little hard on design but could be doable.
Fully upgrading the slots on the battery would have been the same time as duping all the zonite for the battery test.
Idk if anyone mentioned it, but I think attaching a cooking pot and cooking anything might reset the fans from disappearing
To help reduce the number of charges you’re using, you can use recall to keep your vehicle in the air while your batteries are recharging. If you time it right, the amount of altitude and distance you’ll lose can be minimal.
The number of charges I used is pretty minimal. I thought I would use a lot more but I only used 124 from terry town to lookout landing, so for the full challenge 200 should be all I would need. I would rather take out as many variables as possible, that way there is less chance of me failing to a mistake.
Wtf the last time I saw your channel was when you had like a hundred subs. Keep up the good work man!
If you attempt this again, you should try hover stones. That way when the fans are about to expire, you could bring out some hover stones and put them underneath the flying machine while you attach new fans
if you lose the large batteries and tilted all of the fans ya would move a lot faster (yes ya would need to use a lot more large zonaites but ya got tons) might be enough to get it done
Yeah for sure, if I go with strictly fans and a control stick it might shed enough weight. As long as you complete the challenge within 30 minutes before the fans disappear.
@@Teejaytrisket oh if you ever mess up and fall down just use recall to save yourself from touching the ground (could be useful if you timed out and may give you enough time to attach those floating platforms to the device to keep it midair while ya replace all the fans (the timing and skills need for that would most likely be very hard but maybe doable but it's just a theory and i havent tries it yet for the midair repair)
@@Teejaytrisket Are you certain that the fan limit is time based? I think that wings disappear after a certain distance traveled. Whatever the case is, the fan limit is likely the same type as the wing limit.
@@Johncw87 It’s a use time limit. They last just under 30 minutes. Wings are the same they are a use time limit, if they experience any wind force no matter if they travel or not they will disappear. I test this out because I was curious as well! I strapped a wing to a big wheel and found out it was a use case time limit not distance traveled.
Something that might work is to let go of the control stick and hit the plane so it goes on cruise control while you replace the fans midair
Some things:
The large Zonai charge works on the same principle that Yellow Hearts/Stamina does: gives a full refill. You should use Large Charges right when the battery does not die.
A full set of Zonai Armor (all found in the sky) cuts the consumption of battery is half. Upgrading it to level 2 with the Great fairy double the rate it recharges.
You stop midfight and use recall and it will fly backwards a bit, but the battery will recharge (see above). When your battery is back up activate the control stick and the fans will turn on, and then deactivate Recall and resume flight. This means you no longer need Large Zonai charges/batteries to begin with.
Most people have figured out the basic flying machine is two fans and a control stick. Unless you need your aircraft to do anything else (like carry passengers/cargo, weapons) everything else is dead weight.
My personal experience: the more fans you have in front, the easier it is to go up,/take off, but hard to go down/land. Some fan placements make hovering better, and some make going backward better, it depends on your needs.
You don't need to have a fan blowing horizontally to go forward, all your fans should be down, or diagonally down.
It took me over 100 hours of crashlanding and rebuilding and pulling my wrecked aircraft from an active volcano and more to get my 6 laser, 5 fan flyer I call the Dragonfly i used to mine Zonite with. Most of that was adding stuff to my viechle i didn't need. But in the end....the best designs are the simple ones.
It's worth noting that once you reach 8 full batteries on your belt, you can fill 8 more and then your cells become blue. So it makes a total of 16 batteries on your belt. I am currently at 2/3rds of a blue battery and all 8 green batteries.
Also you should wait until your personal energy cells are nearly depleted to use your large zonai charge. They will fully fill your personal cells.
i dont think the propellar and motor from that one shrine disappear (i forget the shrines name but its on the swirling land northeast of terry town) just keep a backup shock emiter handy
Something to test out, I am starting to think every component disappears after a certain period of time. If they last longer than regular fans they could be useful.
@@Teejaytrisket I have enough free time I can test it 😊
@@amplify64did you?
I think you could have done it if when you were falling when the fans disappeared, you used bullet time to shoot a hover stone with your bow then land on it, deploy a couple more, attach them together to make large platform then auto build a new aircraft and take off from there.
This is so cool! I love the editing! Also, maybe with all that Zonaite you could’ve gotten more energy cells (by buying the crystallised charges)
This was just like a movie! It was very entertaining! And the part I enjoyed the most was there were always stuff that came in your way and I started question my self what would you do next? Thanks!
I think you setup the lynel thing, that was too perfect
Lol I wish it was a setup
Couldn't you have autobuilt a new ship while on your old ship, use recall, and just jump ship?
Yes if done correctly I believe this may work with some practice.
@Teejaytrisket Do you remember the floating blocks you can find on some sky islands, just use those to make your vehicle and then just autobuild a new one when your current one is about to expire.
Unfortunately those things disappear around 15 seconds after you start. (just tried it, EPIC FAIL 🤣)
@@mgtowbrony5387 I'm not going to deny that doing it with those things would be a pain but it is theoretically doable so long as you are playing on a version where can can dupe items, all you have to do is make a new one before your current one expires and then dupe the zonaite so you never run out.
3:40 bro that rock dieing in the back 😭
This was hilarious! You're such a good story teller that the time flew by while watching this. Hopium 😂
I think you basically need to design your craft so you can stand on it and swap out the fans on it *in flight*. You could use a stabiliser to keep it upright.
Would the stabilizer be active if you release control, though?
@@robertalexstorm If you are quick about it, you can hit it with a weapon to activate it as you release control
Actually now that I have tested it out... This will work! If you want a smooth switchover, use recall the moment you relinquish control. This will hold the craft in place while you re-activate the stabiliser.
Note that with this sort of craft, you basically have no altitude control. So you will have to adjust altitude by dropping and picking up ballast.
Make sure the craft is big so you can put down new fans and stabilisers. Or you can use the autobuilder.
You might also be able to use portable pots to recharge power instead of zonai charges.
You could potentially do this thing without a control stick, just standing on the thing throughout. You could steer with a sail, for example. This might be overly awkward though.
You might be able to use rocket propulsion with this, since you can replace the rockets. Haven't tested this though.
Wow, discovering that fans have a time limit is a huge achievement
After seeing your video, I tried circumnavigating Hyrule as well, but I went from Highland Stable and made a lap all the way around the outskirts of Hyrule; going through the storm, then to Evantide island, then to the Akkala research lab, death mountain, top of the Hebra mountains, down to the Lightning Temple, and back to the Highland stable. I made it on the basic hoverbike in 36 minutes. I started a timer to check when my fans would despawn, but I realized soon after I started that the time would be off due to pausing to use Zonai Charges. My fans despawned on the way to lookout landing from the Highland Stable.
I used the basic hoverbike.
If you still want to try to complete this, I'd recommend using the motors, propellers and electric batteries from the shrines. You could use 1 shock emitter and metal weapons to power the vehicle, the electric batteries would continue to power the propellers even when you lose zonai power, which would give you time to recover and probably reduce total weight.
How doesn't this have a million views
OMG! I cant stop laughing. Your narration was out of this world!!! Was mega entertaining. Good luck next time. ;)
Glad I could make you laugh, it brings me lots of joy as a creator.
So, you duplicated the charges, but you could've gotten the zonia armor, to negate the battery consumption, then duped the large zonite and buy the crystaline zonite for the battery charges.
League of legends players be like:
Badass!!! Amazing effort on your part! Great video
First vid I watch on ur yt and its.....
AWESOME IM SUBBED AND I HIT THAT LIKE BUTTON 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
I honestly think all you need to make it all the way around is to use an airbike with giant zonai charges.
You would be much faster and use much less energy so you would need less charges.
I also think maybe find a way to stay in the air with a hover stone to auto build new airbike mid-air to avoid the timeout on the fans.
Great video overall.👍
3:34
"And unfortunately for me, I only have 2 of the 8."
Even more unfortunately for you, there's 16 total. You get 2 full bars.
Recall is also really helpful, cause you can stop before you run out of battery and use reacall to just keep it in the air until you get battery back, works better with 3 or more battery collum thingys, and the zonai armour set is A MASSIVE help, cause it helps with losing battery much slower
Seeing you use the large charges like this was painful. They refill your entire battery each time you use one and give you the extra bit but you kept using them immediately after the red boost goes 😭
Just watched a few minutes of this video on FB. I thought you'd have at least 100k subscribers. Great video
I just found out someone shared my video on Facebook that is wild!!!!! Also thank you for the compliment
Love the vid very strong effort
If you do this again, consider using a large flying platform. When the fans break, you can use autobuild to make another mid-air and transfer to it before you fall to the ground. Or you could use many fans to increase speed, although the fuse limit might hinder you.
i was SCREAMING at my monitor that fans break after about an hour of use and everytime you said "and something happened that i didn't expect" my immediate reaction was to call out that the fans will break💀
The electric shrine fan is a good idea, but I wonder if it could still work with normal fans if the aircraft was fast enough with a redesign
This was so good. Great content
I feel like a 4 fan design would be more efficient and maneuverable. Also, I use a 4 fan design that goes forward when you don't touch the joystick and goes down when you push the joystick forward. That way I don't have to risk losing my aircraft by pressing B!
From there you can just use recall and make some adjustments to the craft in midair once the fans run out. That does take a lot of skill though, so maybe shrine stealing a turbine for infinite flight would be better.
If you didn’t want to use Zonai charges, you could use the hover bike meta, get the zonaite armor with x2 great fairy upgrades for double battery regen, get max batteries, then use recall midair flight to recharge your batteries
EDIT: I just realized someone had the same idea
idea: get a propeller from the “gemimik” shrine, get a flux construct 1 core, and use a small wheel to make a “ propeller aircraft” (it doesn’t use that much energy from your energy cells)
This was my dream challenge ever since I found out there were aircraft in this game, I’m so glad someone actually did this!😊
Something that I want to make this easy is the zonaite armor set because less battery would have used it anyways great video
With a little more prep work you could have gotten the 4200 crystal charges needed to max out your battery by duping large zonaite ore. Then gotten the 3 pieces of zonaite armor so you would only need to use a zonaite charge 6% as often.
" to avoid the wood burning, i rose in altitude "
heat rises.
In this game the eldin region isn’t on fire. Only in the caves
something you can do to max out your battery, at the forges you can spend large zonaite to buy 100 crystallized charges at a time, then use a campfire to skip to the next day and fast travel to the closest warp point to force a restock. dupe large zonaite and there you go. takes a while though, probably like half an hour for that many bc of the loading screens
(though of course using the large zonai charges also works and doesn’t take nearly as long)
Yuo can also dupe big batteries by standing a little ways from a wall, holding 5, and closing the menu and hitting Y at the same time
you could probably do it with the same aircraft if you did some on flight adjustments with recall stall
I just did something like this on an airbike around the Geoglyphs, both clockwise and counterclockwise.
It was practically necessary necessary to find the Light Dragon, but I also had 8/16 batteries, and Zonai pants and shirt to make the change last longer
Try using the propeller fan thing from the Gemimik Shrine at the spiral you can connect the fan to a electric power thing and use it with autobuild
15:20 Man loses final straw of sanity: Colorized
If you go around to the cold region you could possibly plan out a way to land on those floating boxes that dont technically count as “ground” reset your fans and get way further
Would it be easier to do a goblin glider/air bike set up instead of your big air craft set up, since you rely on charges by the end anyway? Would it help in terms of speed so the fans don’t run out?
Dang, this was an amazing video! I wonder if a shrine fan would despawn after 30 minutes? This looks fun enough for me to try out, though it was sad to see all the bad luck with the Lynel. Thanks for pulling this all together anyway.
Shrine fans are programmed to never despawn. If you went afk before finishing the shrine for half an hour, and the fans despawned, what would you do to solve the shrine?
They lose that property when taken out of the shrine or fused to items
@@brycesonmoon655 I tested it, and it doesn't despawn. Unless you're talking abt zonai fans, which do lose that property
@@BTG_gamer then what shrine fans are you talking about? The propellers? Then no. The pre placed zoni fans Are just zoni fans with a flag that is lost when fused or shrine stolen
@@brycesonmoon655 I'm talking abt the shrine fan in the shrine in the center of the rist peninsula shrine that some ppl shrine steal for builds. I think you're talking abt the zonai fans you can deploy at any time. Those despawn outside of shrines
you can just stall in the air with recall to recharge your battery by cancelling recall before it starts actually recalling
The only way I can think of to avoid the fan issue is just to make a craft fast enough that it completes the circumnavigation before the timer runs out
15:26
Lolz 😂😂😂
i havent seen anything that sad/funny since 1994 with the windows ski game and the snow man gets you.
You could use a strat where you perfectly time bomb shield bounces on wings to bounce from one wing to another, but you would need to fuse more bombs mid flight.
After two fans, they're more for stability and direction than propulsion. Using a lightweight, long grate would probably help as a base. Zonai cooking pots allow you to recharge your battery. Using one of the autobuild sliding techniques may help, too.
Edit: watched your sequel video. Congrats! 🎉
I mean, if the main rule is that you can't touch the ground i don't see why you can't just shoot a hover stone fused to an arrow to create a platform mid-air that you can use autobuild from.
Wahoooo!!!
He took on my challenge!
The Dozier challenge looks do-able until your first attempt 😂
Thanks for a good aircraft design!
True infinite flight tip: use recall before it times out and autobuild to spawn a new ride midair. Your build looked stable enough that it could have stayed airborn without you at the controller.
I do hope you feel better, I know how loosing a dream feels like, and you gotta pretend that your fine that your ok and everything, even if it’s just a game made with codes.
I honestly dont understand why you didn't just multiply the big batteries so you could have more.
Use a hover bike until it’s fans run out and use either recall to keep the bike in the air (spamming it over and over not going backwards) or large Zoni charges then auto build wings in the air and hold one with ultra hand so when one starts blinking to fuse them (have them with fans) and that might make it all the way around. I loved your flying device
i just grinded for all the crystalized charges for 3 hours straight fighting a bunch of bosses and duping large zonite to get all of them!
Love the audio design for the falling rocks btw 😅
You could use autobuild to create the vehicle mid-air, then use recall and get inside. When you're done flying, drop it off the edge of the map. That way, it literally never touches the ground.
I would have used recall on the aircraft to keep it up long enough to use auto build in the air, if it falls I would quit recall on the previous aircraft and jump onto the new one turning it on before it hit the ground
I know its a bit late to ask since the video been uploaded, but the dupe glitch you used to get alot of items, does it still exist ? If no, is there a variant of it ?
It doesn’t exist anymore unfortunately, The best way to check is by looking at the version of the game you currently have and search for duplication glitches. Although these glitches will be much harder to pull off and may be more convoluted.
wait fans ran out? was this a new feature of the newer versions? I fly a 2 fan with controller cycle for an hour in the depths however im on 1.1.0 not 1.1.1 or 1.1.2.. did this get added?
the trick is to not use a Zonai charge until your battery is fully out because at also replenishes you battery on top of making it unable to run out meaning more energy efficient runs. you also could have used recall on your flying machine when it was falling for the first time to buy you some time.
