    FYI : # 3 square bit is a Robertson head driver- a common Canadian screw head.
    Also dont let anyone tell you the used car business is easy... love your videos

      I would think it would if the set up is the same. Probably used in a lot of GM cars.

    Anthony, this was fascinating. I always imagined that it was the seat padding that interferes with the motor mechanicals, over time. Now I have a better understanding of the power recliner operation. From a functional view, I see no difference between a manual versus power recliner. But luxury kudos goes to the power recliner, it's a Cadillac thing!

    Great video bud! Try using WD40 Lithium Edition. It is a little more expensive but leaves a nice milky lube behind preserving the lubricant much longer. Works better in hinges & stuff like this

    I bought a 87’ brougham d’elegance when I was in the military and I traded it in to finance another vehicle to boost my credit and I’ve regretted it ever since. These cars are so beautiful to have a car from the late 80’s early 90’s that has things like automatic headlight dimmers and rides so smoothly is a work of art. I love the channel bud keep up the great work!!

    Back in 89' Grandma had the Caddy and Grandpa had the 5 series Bimmer.....both had their merits,but the back seat in the Caddy was PLUSH!!

A lot of robbers out there would charge you labor time and even add in the price of the trans regulator for that seat. GREAT JOB 👍 A DEFINITE CHIP OFF THE OLD BLOCK.     Hey there Anthony! This is something that happens with the window regulators on alot of 80s ans 90s ford/mercury/Lincoln products also, I've found that while PB or WD40 works, Mac's white lithium grease is the way to go for a quicker/more permanent fix. Try some out, see how it does for you

    You should do the Lincoln town car power seats like I'm having trouble with my 2010 sticking or freezing up on me on the drivers side. How to videos are great because learning how to fix these cars with their many power options can be expensive on easy fixes. 👍
