    The thing with a Cadillac is that no matter how old it is if it is clean and well-kept it still looks like a masterpiece that is still a good looking car weren’t really fond of those cars at least in the early 90s but I’ve had a 68 a 79 and 86 and a 98 can never go wrong with the Caddy miss those days when they had big engines and big horsepower

    These were very nice cars, but in my opinion, the GM Wagons of the era carried the styling the best.
    The previous generation of Fleetwood was much more well proportioned.
    I had a 95 Roadmaster wagon for years... They , like the Cadillacs, were exceptionally well built cars that rode very, very well.

      I currently have a 1996 Roadmaster Wagon with wood trim delete (I hate that fake wood wrap that wagons had since the mid 1950s). Yeah, it is a pretty decent car.

      I have owned 80 cars in my life. The best car OVERALL, I have ever owned is my current 1994 Roadmaster Limited Sedan. Unfortunately it does NOT have the prestige package (cornering lights, trunk pull down and Twilight Sentinel). I sold to my son-in-law a beautiful 1994 Roadmaster Limited WITH the prestige package and the towing package/gran touring suspension,

  • @DavidPysnik
    @DavidPysnik Před 2 lety +1

    These are excellent cars that virtually run forever with basic maintenance. The 5.7 L detuned LT1 provides more than enough power and torque to comfortably and easily move these massive cars around. I have two 95s myself, but I must say with how amazingly smooth these ride and how supremely quiet they are, I would never change out the suspension or exhaust for anything that deviated from stock. To each their own I suppose.

    • @MostlyBuicks
      @MostlyBuicks  Před 2 lety

      I have had 1 1994, 1 1995 with 4VP towing option, 1 1996 with 4VP, this 1996, and now I have another 1996 with 16K original miles. Each of them were/are Broughams. The 95 had vinyl top delete, MUCH nicer looking! ALL of them had greatly improved handling with Severe duty shocks up front and coil-over shocks in the back, replacing the spongy feeling stock air shocks, even though they all were working perfectly.
      I like to drive twisty mountain roads, so that is where I am coming from.
      I do the same treatment with my 1994 to 1996 Roadmasters.

      Yes, I occasionally pay tribute to various youtubers in subtle ways. I have one that opens with a cereal marshmallow, for example (one owner car guy). And I think I have a "how's it going?" or maybe it was "So, without further adieu." for Saabkyle04. I will also make fun of Rare Classic Cars & Automotive History as he often says "very unique". Unique needs no modifier because it literally means one of a kind. He would be better off saying "very unusual" or "very rare". I called him out on that but he is stubborn and now makes it a point to say "very unique". I will get around to Specialty Cars too. It is all in good fun and a tip of the hat to these very valuable contributors. I even poked fun a Not Even Emily. Maybe I will get around to Shoe On Head too. Who knows? If you watch my Roadmaster Wagon video, you will see another tribute to Curious Cars referring to how many people can fit in the rear facing seat.

    Im might be wrong, But I have the impression that most of Americans don't praise their own cars, Im from Europe and I dont give a F**** about BMW´s,Ferrari´s or any major European Car maker, I love American cars, Buick GNX, Pontiac Grand Prix, Cadillac Allante or Fleetwood, Lincoln Town Car, etc, unfortunately they are extremely rare here in the EU, How Americans let car Makers such Pontiac, Mercury die, Current Lincoln,Cads are a far cry from their past models, Anything above 2000 lacks the soul of the old 70s,80s and 90s models, Im afraid that Cadillac and Lincoln will follow the same destiny as Pontiac and Mercury one day.
