The final fight from the movie "The Hunted" Even if the movie isn't a master peice, I saw it alot when I was a little kid and I stil like it :) All Credit goes to: Universal Studios
They're probably regular office workers by day, cosplayers as samurai by nite. Kinjo's ninias are probably opposite. Ninja'ing full time, while pretending to be regular people
I think the problem is, while they trained to fight they were not hardcore killers like the ninjas. Imo its like using people who like going to the gun range and test military tactics and suddenly drop them in a battle.
Takeda was warned this would happen. When he used Paul as bait to lure the ninja to fight on the train and found out that Kinjo didn't even bother to come himself Takeda should've realized he was dealing with someone who didn't play by his rules. Of course Kinjo wouldn't duel him for Paul. Samurai do the whole man-to-man thing, ninja sneak in through the backdoor. That's their whole ethos. Obviously they'd slip in quietly and ambush the whole place from behind and Takeda either repeatedly failed to understand the ninja mentality or he was so overconfident that he thought him and his weekend warriors would win even if the enemy fought dirty. Probably it was a bit of both. Either way, Kinjo called it; "Baka samurai."
That's because they were all just normal people who studied and practiced Kendo, where ass Kinjo's ninjas were all trained killers, all of whom had experience with killing others. Takeda's students were not even close to being killers. They were essentially innocent.
Both of them are masters with the sword. You can never know what's gonna happen when they meet each other. Takeda is a sensei in Kenjutsu but Kinjo is not an ordinary ninja, he is the head ninja, like he said his skills are not matched. I thinki he won cause he was the faster of the two and the more skilfull warrior. Look at his technique and his movements with the sword. You can't blame the absence of Takeda's real sword, he has to be good with every sword. Anyway Takeda was also great
I've been waiting to see this movie for months, I had forgotten the name of it. , it just came on cable over the weekend and it made my day. Now I know the name and can go buy it ! The Samurai is a badass! I think he picked up the wrong sword cause they focus on it when he drops it as if sending a message to the viewer. I wish he would had won!
John Lone, the young God father of Chinatown in the year of Dragon in 1986. He also played Puyi, the Last Emperor. His graceful movement was trained by the master of Beijing opera when he was kid in Hong Kong. One of the great actor born in Hong Kong.
Alternate Ending: Paul was so scared that he ran away after the fight. Then Kinjo heard a cart sound: GARA, GARA, GARA A voice said, "Ninja, can you reap what you sow?" Mysterious figure revealed to himself. He had a baby cart with his son on it. Kinjo said, "May I know your name, stranger?" The stranger's only reply is: "ASSASSIN: Lone Wolf and Cub. You must die!!" Another duel began.
How fortunate that one female Samurai kept regaining consciousness in the nick of time long enough to zing off her arrows. Also, considerate off the one Ninja to remove his mask so we'd know who the antagonist was.
Since seeing the more recent film, I had even convinced that this scene (and the finale following) was the inspiration for the Kylo Ren forest battle in "The Force Awakens."
+Grymmorgan I haven't seen the newest Star Wars movie yet so I have no idea. However, still to this day I can't put my finger on what but its something magical about this movie :)
@Ribonuke If I remember correctly the movie was a low-budget movie and there were almost no advertising so almost nobody knew it OR it was just another sleeper hit
@@dalmar23 They simply were not killers. They were just regular people with day jobs who trained Kendo on the weekends lol. Kinjo's ninjas were all experienced with taking human life. Killing people was nothing to them. Takeda's students never stood a chance.
@kolos2006 actually, he picked the samurai picked his own sword, 2:27 he doesn't have a sword, after killing that ninja, (left the sword inside the ninja's body) and at 2:43, he looks his own sword and picked it up. I know he wouldn't fight kinjo without it..
@jobbylou No way man. Fuck the samurais sword. Kinjo was clearly a more experienced fighter. He was almost twice as fast as the Samurai, and that is why he won the fight.
The character from Rush hour 2. Best scene from Rush Hour 2 - Lee Vs. Ricky Tan the actors real name is John Lone. He is also "Kinjo", the leader or the ninjas in this movie :)
Why did Takeda just wear better loose clothing than something real heavy and awkward especially when it started to rain. At least he should’ve took off the top half the outfit he had on before he fought kinjo and wear better shoes. He could’ve won the fight.
Agree :) Even to this day, I wished that he had tied his top around his waist as the character "Genjuro Kibagami" from the fighting game "Samurai Shodown". Google him and you will see what I mean :)
it is not historically correct. Samurai are aristocratic elite units that have trained since the age of three and had the best equipment and training they could get. The ninjas, on the other hand, were mostly only hired villagers or thieves for dirty work such as unnoticed sabotage, espionage, kidnapping, theft or murder. And their equipment was mostly just modified village tools or cheap weapons. They weren't meant to fight, there is nothing about fighting in Ninjutsu, it is not a martial art. So a ninja would have no chance against a samurai in a fight like this. And I have no idea what so many female warriors do there, female was not allowed in the samurai army
All of Takeda's students were useless against Kinjo's army of experienced killers. The only reason the wife was more "useful" was because she herself was a master archer. If anything, they made most of the men in the movie useless. I'd say the strongest characters in the movie are in fact Takeda's wife and Kirina who was killed in the beginning. She had no fear of Kinjo when she was face to face with him, and he respected that, same as he respected the courage he saw in Takeda's wife, hence the flashback he had of Kirina when he looked at Takeda's wife.
I really like how the actor that played Kinjo. Acting and action choreography
Some great moves with the katana, indeed.
John Lone is such an awesome and underappreciated actor :( The was terrific in Year of the Dragon and this movie, he should have gotten more roles.
He showed some great movements with the sword here, I wonder if he have trained something
He chooses his roles very carefully
John Lone, such an underrated actor 🙌 I came here cos it's one of those first films I was rooting for the villain
Absolutely right. John Lone deserves higher respect and love.
I am here for watching John Lone. Love and respect him all the time.
It is so crazy, it is like no one on Tanaka's team was ready for this at all. Except for his wife, none of his disciples even got a lick in.

alot of people dont like this movie, however i rate it very VERY highly. thanks for the upload.
I just saw this movie today on HBOZ after a long time. To me it had the suspense that other ninja movies (eg. Ninja Assassins) lacked.
I agree with you Fisa! I enjoyed watching this when it came on USA. I'm glad I'm getting to see this fight in it's entirety...thanks for posting this.
this is the movie ive been looking for for months good thing i found it i watched this like along time ago like like long ago
Same here just like you

The Ninja actor still reminds me of his gay role in Madame Butterfly. He kinda moves so graceful like a ballet dancer

You know you might actually be right
Clip ends on the perfect beat: "I'll be waiting for you in hell."
This movie is like The Last Samurai but good.
First time I saw this movie on T.V. I thought "is this Highlander?"
Samurais va ninjas
I see, I hope you had a nice trip there:)
But I live in sweden at the moment:P
@Ribonuke
If I remember correctly the movie was a low-budget movie and there were almost no advertising so almost nobody knew it OR it was just another sleeper hit
Agree:) its a berry nice movie:)
Kinjo reminds me of Kiro in the Sift Heads Series. (except Kiro is a real modern Samurai)
of course chris had much experience with the katana from the highlander movies.
awesome
I always wonder what exactly did Takeda train his students in. Origami?
He trained them for duels. This was not duel.
@@dalmar23 Well then, he fucking sucked as a trainer one way or another.
@@dalmar23 I mean, most of them went down to one guy with a single sword anyway so it might as well have been.
None of them had any experience in actual battles maybe except Takeda.

Ninja is best
Can you imagine someone saying to you, "I'll be waiting for you in hell"? 😳
God decided whether you enter hell or do not OSU!!!
In reality samurai can be ninja so not matter what you say samurai will be faster
anybody tell me where i can find the video that it is Kinjo vs Paul racine?
@jobbylou No way man. Fuck the samurais sword. Kinjo was clearly a more experienced fighter. He was almost twice as fast as the Samurai, and that is why he won the fight.
Ninja Wins :D
Iirc something went wrong with the recording and I never bothered to fix it :P
@redplaguethe3rd Your welcome :)
Real sinobi didnt use swords.Carrying a weapon in ancinet japan would raise many questions.
The sword that ninja is using is too long than usual.
J3AN P3T3R thats thruth the sword of a samurái is called katana and is a larger sword and the ninja use the ninjato a shorter and faster sword
Link...?????
Ricky tan?
The character from Rush hour 2.

Its a traditional Samaria kmono an its a traditional Samaria colour blus
ninja wins 🥷and yes i seen this before i just like ninjas better
Waffen SS Vs. Soviet Partisan
Uang full dong
Ninja win
Mizuno rules
Ninja didn't use Bows.
Yes they did. They also used guns
The only mistake Takeda made when he was caught in chains by the two ninja was walking through their respawn point.
Your comment reminds me of the Onimusha games lol.

@kolos2006 Point taken
A Samurai master shouldn't need a special sword. He should be able to use any sword and dominate.
Crappy clip - Censored!!!
Csak magyar szinkronnal vagyok hajlandó megnézni.
the only problem i had with this scene is they made the women (except the lead woman) completely useless
