Yeah he wanted to look like Asmongold, to get as many subscribers. ^^
He gains power as his hair grows. Soon he'll be running 2 minute 150s with sentry dh
I imagine he picks his hair out before each video.
This 'power' needs to be added to the current Rathma's set to make it less clunky. But instead of 50 yards, make it so it casts at the command skeletons commanded target's location only.
2 things i want to mention/add
1) the passive skill in your loadout that makes you immune to damage for 4 seconds after using army of the dead, (currently) triggers with the crucible skill also, which makes it useless since it has a long cooldown. (you instantly trigger it with the first enemy on screen and not by button press of the army :( )
2) especially for player that are in the lower paragorn levels, the craftable defender set makes it easy to run Torment >10 directly after reaching level 70. It doubles stat bonuses from equiped items, including gems. (but seems it doesnt double empowered stats)
im currently stuck at around GR87, seen some inspiration in your video, hope it will carry me a bit further.
Excellent video. I am a necro player and fan, but now I can't decide which build to try to hit 150 first with. Blood Nova or Rathma. I was leaning towards Blood Nova, it is so much fun and very tanky for the first push to 150. Could Rathma be the better choice even though way more squishy and will require a bit more patience? Dang! What a blast from the past! I knew I remembered D3 Necro being a badazz, but I completely forgot just how much AoD freaking ruled in D3! Ah well, guess I'll go back to D4 and my "spooky sorc."

This is definitely the best starter and end game build
And Squirt's Necklace is negated. Why even use it? I never see a video where the buff is even applied, and all the grifters are always getting hit constantly. I hate that necklace with a passion but it is always in every build for some forsaken reason. I do not see a benefit to even using it. Would love to hear of an alternative since I literally never have the damage up buff from it.

Hey Wudi. My friend and I intend to play duos or trios this season up to the point of clearing a 150 and then we will stop for the season.
Our setup will probably be a zBarb and a DPS.
Is this Rathma build the best DPS for that purpose, or would something like the impale DH be better?
When I say better what I mean is the ease of getting to the say 1500 or 2k paragon we need, and then completing a 150 at that sort of level.

Well necro seems to be awesome from what this build shows. It seems better then shadow impale which is only for group speeds.
HoTA barb strong contender for duos, so it will be 2 barbs on the 2player leaderboards. For 3 Players I'd say traghoul necro, rathma necro and zbarb, for 4 players you would include a zdh

Started with necro this season as all the vids said it was strong and I haven't played it in a long while. However, on hardcore, it's a bit too on the edge for my tastes 😂
What necro build would you recommend building towards for some more chill hardcore solo gameplay?
I'd be pretty worried about playing a necro in hardcore, personally. All the builds are pretty much "Kill it quickly before it kills you" It's just a squishy class in general. The tankiest build I've played is the poison scythe, but it requires really good positioning, because if your simulacrums die, you're fucked. Area effects like Frozen can one shot them at higher GR's. It's also another pretty slow build.
How to play step by step what skills to use in what situation
Going to be really hard to pick between this build, and the WD Helltooth pets build. Just really love mass pet builds, going to have to figure out which one is better all around between clears and toughness.
I wouldn`t start with Nec if you arent used to rats, getting oneshotted is normal for rat builds. They can barely take dmg
Both are weak... Just go monk or DH and farm from there
I suppose I should clarify, I won't have the time, nor put in the effort to get to the point of doing 150s.. Mainly just looking for something strong, enjoyable, and easy to play to do 120-130s range.
@@BrianGiuffre Strong and easy to play = the new Trang'Oul blood nova with Guardian belt/bracers. You just dive in and face-tank everything to death; and it might be the second strongest solo push build for s27 after WoL monk, which is difficult to play.
Rathma seemed, to me, about 5-6 GR behind Trang, and is harder to play. But it's not as bad as people think(I was rank 1 Rathma in S25 until I quit, and tested it again on s27 ptr.) You just _HAVE_ to use Esoteric Alteration Gem lvled to 100. That's an _essential_ part of the build. Since your pets tank the physical dmg, almost all dmg you take is elemental, so that gem makes all the difference.
Playstyle: Rat is stronger now than it was in s26, but also not as easy to play, because you have to maintain siphon stacks and find/target the yellows with siphon while AotD is in motion(but they move around and get blocked by other mobs), while also trying to stand in occy circles and time your AotD for physical CoE cycles. AND you can't forget to keep your Command Skelletons active or you do 0 dmg, and won't realize why. If you move too far from their target, you have to re-cast it. They also un-command themselves when fighting Illusionists affix packs(when their target splits), so you have to re-command before each AotD cast.
(As you can see, Trang is much easier and simpler.)
I didn't test WD Gargs, but it looked from the leaderboard, like it _might_ be as strong as Rat - not many testing it, so hard to tell. It won't have a spot in 4-man groups though, if you care about that.

if it was originally meant to buff blood nova, does that mean we expect this particular build to be nerfed back to before, eventually?
they'll make the Funerary Pick only apply the bonus to blood spells or something, right?
Since someone mentioned it on your last video and was something I had not realised prior, what paragon should you be for this build?
And what would a low para (800 and under) build look like?
build doesn't change much between high and low paragon because almost everything is locked in, so just try to get as much vitality as possible on the lower end
I sharing something. When will we get an awesome summoning new set. It could be something like: 2set bonus: each active minion increase the attack speed% and make minion stay longer. 4set bonus: when ur hit, the closest minion attack this enemy plus % domage reduction and 6setbonus: each active minion increase %domage of the minion. I think how awesome it could be with like 28 minion ( 7 squeleton, 1 golem, 10 mage, 10 reanimate I think) What do you think ? (sorry english is not my language), btw, thanks, I really like your video.

I wanted to play Crusader this season, but everyone said, it is going to be worst season for crusaders. So I think I am going with necro this time! I've only played one season with necro a while ago and gladly return to resurrect the dead!
I will be primarily doing Necro as well but I think I want to make a Crusader for a bounty/rift/grift farming build. That Fist of the Heavens build looks fun and potentially fairly strong for speed farming with the last change made to it.
How is your AOD instant cool down? I have all the items for the build but I don’t see what I’m missing.

When will we see the Season 27 builds up on Maxroll? I want to play the new Akkhan but I've been reading mixed info, like if it's buffed by pet skills or not, if it scales of Phalanx and/or Condemn damage, etc. Looking for someone to set the record straight!

Are the final ptr patch notes out already?
Id prefer Rhatma over Bloodnova build because Rhatma is more mobile. Its just squishy and lacks the dmg.

What I don't understand is why cube that helm that gives the same rune as the angelic power? Seems to me we are taking it twice, and I'm sure it doesn't stack...

Why is the ring selected as the angelic item ? Wouldn't we need to use the angelic crucible on the weapon?
To get the max stat roll on its ability in your ring has a shitty roll.
I'm up to GR 135 with a similar rathma build but my brain is mush from farming so hard lol
What Paragon are you? I'm geared out but only at 850 and struggling to kill the mobs quickly at GR125 although the Rift Guardians die quickly.
Anyone know how much paragon you need to make a high gr trag push? I can't get much higher than 130. The single target on the guardian is too low for me
single target is bad, you need to stack stricken for 1-3min and save 1-2 pylons for nemesis bracers to get extra damage. There's not really a paragon requirement before GR140+
did the army of the dead sanctification on the krysbin but it doesn t seem to cast army of the dead at all. what am I doing wrong?
edit: it is a different rune, skeletons run alone at targets, if target is affected by command skeletons they do a lot of dmg otherwise close to none
Wait i'm confused so there's 2 army of the dead runes for sanctification ? Because i'm not getting the proc too
@@lord461 proc works, harder to see, transparent skeletons rise and run around and deal a lot of damage to targets were command skeletons was used
basically a hug the floor build then nuke and die again

More cooldown is generally better, around 50% at least

Could you fit guardian set into this build?
theoretically instead of crimson but I don't see that being an advantage
what about the GOLEM in this build? it is permanent and it's like 1750% dmg in +...to be exactly the full bonus of the set, is 31.5k% dmg, without golem you got 29.75k% dmg...
cant fit it for how little it contributes

Honestly if your struggling to stay alive - get a unity instead of COE - yes nuke phases are fun but progression is better. better to be alive and let stricken stack up then die constantly making the game unfun.

Replace Captain Crimson's Trimmings by Guardian's Jeopardy and Army of the Dead will hit stronger.
Horrific Return will ensure the proc of Krysbin 300% and make monsters flee (attack and defense).
Captain Crimson is there for the cool-down which you need for Army of the Dead.
@@leebarnett2610 Do you need to equip Army of the Dead when you have Passive Permanent Army of the Dead happening in background with S27 power ?
@@deathbeforedishonor6523 There is no signal it would be weaker (or show me the source ?). The S27 power scales with you Army of the Dead damage, benefits from the Unconventional Warfare rune is actually the most powerful rune (50,000% weapon damage), is applied to enemies within 50 yards and has 100% uptime. Which means it is best to increase Army of the Dead Damage with skills and items rather than trying to cast manually Army of the Dead.
@@deathbeforedishonor6523 Death Valley makes Area damage easier as it knocks enemy towards center. It has a 1 second animation. This is why it was overpowered when it was 100% uptime. Now it is back to it original cooldown, it proc less which means it is weaker than a 100% uptime Unconventional Warfare. Simple maths.

Serious note tho, I think this vid just made me dial in on actually starting necro. I have seen different ones saying to go for dh or barb or something because necro is sort of slow to gear up once hitting 70 even though it is by far the fastest from 1-70
@@vegardkjrberg1929 ya the barb and DH sets are just naturally better for speeds but I'm on the same boat, might run with necro.
