Season 17 of Destiny 2 also sees the return of our "Copycat Cards" in Trials. In our first card of the season, we relied heavily on our primary weapons and this week my main loadout has been Ikelos SMG + Austringer. People often complain about certain special weapons, but life can be just as good without them. Enjoy!

Same here usually I have my load out picked in the first week of a season but right now the meta is all over the place I’m actually enjoying bxr and trials fusion in trials and doing well. I even used a sidearm in trials and did well so I think right now it’s good to be different but I don’t like how inconsistent some special weapons are

I would love to see a titan PvE build with Loreley and tarrabah for higher end content. Constantly outregen health while activating and maintain ravenous beast. Would be completely impractical but fun

GGs. We were doing random exotic trials and I got tarrabah but ended up switching to a better loadout when I saw we matched you xD.

I love doing random loadouts. Nice way to mix things up and keep it fresh. I'm not near good enough to do that in Trials tho

I found there was an insane amount of people running double primary this trials. I couldn’t figure out what the heck was going on. I don’t feel the special ammo nerf is THAT bad to the point of just not using them.

Hey jake do u use the standard key binds or do u have custom ones ive been having trouble finding binds for my standard melee, charged melee and gernade (lol) the standard keybinds are kinda annoying to for all of those things cuz its the same button for both melee types lol
Most controller players just use the auto melee still. Not as easy finding another button for melee.
i replace my emote slots for charged melee on controller for k&m i use my buttons on my mouse for nade and melee

Honestly this season it feels like I'm using my shotgun more than ever, there are so many people rushing you with sidearms or smgs.
Same. Im finding my shotty still feels pretty good even with the recent nerfs. Im using a spread again instead of a slug as well which is fun.

Played three titans with Hoarfrost/Cerberus! The most toxic team ive ever played. One guy had 50K crucible kills on cerberus! GG to those cheese herders.

Na not a primary meta lol. It's abilities/fusion/sniper meta. I see ppl use only fusions in trials lol. My buddy started doing that cause he got sick of ppl doing it to him. He just glaciocasms everyone now

tbf this has been one of the best weekends so far for primary usage if you look at top 10 weapons used it’s mostly primary’s
@@maxrichardson5252 Depends who you're playing honestly. But when you play the "Sweaty" ppl, it's always gonna be abilities, sniper or fusion. The average/casual player might just use wtvr. We need a primary only trials playlist to be honest. They need to make competitive actually feel like it's skill based

Trial is a addiction for tryhard players that want to go flawless, which is impossible to get with these type of players. Also, trials weapons are pretty much the same as every weapons, so it doesn't make a difference if you a trial weapons in your hands because one thing for sure is that it's not about the weapons or abilities, it's about the players themselves, and you should know that by now.
I wish you and other big destiny content creators would be more open minded about this whole airborne effectiveness thing. The general destiny population like not having PvP chads floating in the air doing a 360 no scope and hitting a head shot. This is a start to a good change for the WHOLE community. No it’s not perfect yet and it need a lot of help but it’s a great start to making a good change. I get it messes with you but you will be ok, your good enough to adapt I promise. Stop being so negative about a change that doesn’t cater to you. I still love you though Jake.
I mean, I Liked being able to hit shots in the air too. Not a sweat either. I doubt you have actual metrics to say your perspective is what the majority feels.
@@elliottreadings8029 so spec into airborne effectiveness like Bungie gave us the option to lol. You should not be able to melt someone while flying through the air IMO. But of course I don’t have metrics to support my generality’s. But if that’s your only argument then I can say you also don’t know if my claims are not correct.
@@FloopIsAMadMan Yeah, but I'm not the guy making claims based on nothing. Anyways, it's less effective to do that now, as it means sacrificing other elements of a build just to reclaim a core aspect of previous gameplay. Imo, you should be able to jump and shoot. Maybe you should've just got better, or at the very least recognized the merit of having more free form movement and approach options.
