Viewer don't forget that because of the morals of the times there was always a caveat to each of these Hitchcock episodes whereby no one got off scott free, unlike our politicians of today.
I'm assuming the judge was the caveat? Maybe the judge knew the victim. 🤔
I'm 71 and they are still interesting.
Hitch is ageless 🖤
At 66 the same thing here
@@elizabethwutzke9040 at 68 still here and enjoying oldies.👍
Im 50 and I only watch oldies ...the actors really did a fine job back then
That's because you're 71
Oh yes the days of full service gas stations ! Heaven !
Come to Jersey, still has them 💯
@@raineyj560 All they do here in north jersey is put gas in... that's all...
When I lived in mass. 26 yrs ago they pumped our gas. Great when it was 20 degree out, but here in Florida I pump my own. Don't mind at all! Fair trade!
I like your call letters. 💋
I miss the full service also here in Australia. I visited a friend in Barcelona and was surprised their gas stations still have full service!
2:30, “the old tunes are the best, the old tunes the old loves”
I love the big steering wheel. I miss that lol!!!
Polly Bergen was so beautiful. I remember seeing her on game shows when I was really young. I didn't realize what a fine actress she was.
She wrote several books too
You might be interested in them
She was a regular on the game show "To Tell the Truth" hosted by Bud Collyer..
Watch Cape Fear
You should catch her performance in the original "Cape Fear"with Robert Mitchum. It plays on TCM from time to time.
A more recent Polly Bergen performance was in the HBO series
The Sopranos. She played Tony's Fathers mistress. It was a great part for her, and was a great storyline.
Crystal is the one who couldn't be trusted.
Of course shes A Woman.
It's men who lie
Wow, I like these older movies and shows. I'm 29 and its just so interesting.
Yep! Great way to relax
It's called acting!!! Something you don't see much of today.
They're not all as high quality as Hitchcock stuff. He was a league above his peers.
I'm 39 love them to .Wish I was 29 .✌️
Old movies are great but politically correct, no way they would go over today, the feminists would have a fit
He should know - in film noir - nothing good ever happens at a beach house !
What a clever dame...
@I8thumper heyyy 🖐🏾 omg does this one count czcams.com/video/Ynu_PgXLhWE/video.html cuz i started watching it the other day and got distracted at minute 6:23 (also n.a.e. btw 😉) so thx for the friendly reminder to finish checking it out. I've enjoyed it thus far tho fyi 🤗 good day

She pulls into the servo with a cigarette hanging out of her mouth lol 😂 🚬
So beautiful, love her driving with a smoke.
POLLY BERGAN was very good ACTRESS & SINGER that should've been a SUPER STAR
I've been watching these off and on lately....love it....
i want that big steering wheel !
Dry tears
She was so beautiful and could even sing!!!
The gas station guy is hot!
Polly Bergen, was very pretty. Naturally, too.
Clip on earrings always so pretty but I could never wear them
Me either my momma wore those but her ears were pierced. I never understood that. Lol pretty tho
I was in a USA network movie with Polly in 1989. I had no idea who she was at the time.
the title should be you can't trust a woman
If it were only the full show. PMO
@Aneesa T Maybe so but not all the time.
Ikr
You can't trust the title
She should've just said, "yeah I knew him it was my crazy stalker ex". Mightve been more believed especially if proof of a previous relationship, the marriage, is somewhere out there
Great episode saw this a few nights ago. Hitchcock was brilliant!
i loved Polly Bergen. her signature hair cut was called a poodle back then. :} 🌷
look at the size of that steering wheel !
Absolutely Genesis! Magnificent!!
I wish they had the date's on these. I love these. I'm so glad I found these show's
If you google the episode information will come up
"You Can't Trust a Man" Paul Henreid Helen Nielsen Polly Bergen as Crystal Coe, Joe Maross as Tony Coe First aired on May 9th, 1961
@@MikeGreenwood51 Yes, from season 6. For this clip, the episode's actual title was included in the video's headline. But they aren't always. In those cases, you can use an actor name as a search term, together with 'Hitchcock.'
Best show
I was waiting for the second shoe to drop, where the cop asks something question and blows her tearful story out of the water.
This is only an excerpt from the episode; not the ending.
@@hilaryc3203 And what is the ending?
@@huskyjerk Just before his death, the man inherited a lot of money by way of an electronic equipment he invented while in jail. So the police dug up his past to find his beneficiary … Who else is the beneficiary other than his legal wife.. motive of murder proved.
@@imakayamkulam1253 thanks.
I’m glad I found your channel 👍 ( for what I want you won’t need ya checkbook )
“A girl has to live” that’s true. The question is how well?
I wish I'd learned not to trust men a long time ago. I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt, only to find that they were all the same inside. But I finally learned.
LMAO, really.
This should be never trust a woman..
not on social media.
👏👏👏
Yes she's striking alright
Where is the rest of it?
Why post only part of films??!
it is a shame they r cut in half the shows are 25 minutes not 12
Later on she shoots him. But later learns that he invented something in prison that netted him a huge sum in royalties. Lt tells her, it's going to give someone a head ache to search for his beneciary. Ooops, she's toast.
Who says that theres no such thing as the perfect murder? She got clean away with it!
Nope. this wasn't the full episode. Only excerpts that do not show the actual ending.
@@hilaryc3203 Where are full episodes. Do you know, or is it not possible to see on here?
@@Melinda8162 I have watched full episodes on CZcams and on some pirate sites.
Dang, she ain't get in no trouble 😕 , Better not try that in 2022.. 😆 You goin' to jail..straight to jail!
Good one. He was a total creep and probably would have killed her
where is the end????
I think I dated this womans younger sister once.
I might be wrong...
YIKES!
How old are you
More like ,never trust a lady😯
She stuck to her plan, he should've did the same, he got what he deserve. He was no good in TZONE with the little people.🤣
There was no twist
MzConcept13 > The plot twist is in the remaining portion of the full film. She doesn't escape justice.
8:17 should have slammed the brakes and got out.
She wanted him dead, she couldn't afford being found out she was still married to him. He was the fool with his walk down memory lane.
Always smoking. And getting service at the gas station!
Tuffskin
dump him
They always believe a crying beautiful women.
This was back before people had to have their noses fixed to be in show business. Lol...
Polly Bergin had beautiful features
@@sampuatisamuel9785 But she had a long pointed nose. So did Gene Harlow. In those days it was ok, I guess.
I was just thinking the same thing about these older shows. Natural features, imperfect teeth, wrinkles. And we still admired the actors for their talent & found them beautiful or handsome w/o fillers, botox, or plastic surgery as they aged. They looked human, not like plastic dolls.
@@Broadwayshowgirl Standards of beauty are stricter now, I guess. The average woman on the street has more perfect features than some of these old time stars. But they had a charisma, a magic, that not many have now.
