I'd alert people to make sure if you use the rothco frame that the top shoulder straps are secured properly in the buckles, from the factory, they may not be laced right and there's not enough tension to hold them together resulting in a few accidents. Not a big deal to people used to the old USGI stuff, but I noticed it and found that a few folks didn't set it up right.
Just wanted to give you a shout out. I watched your video the moment I unboxed my HasLab pack yesterday, and started screwing everything together as soon as you outlined the hardware placement. By the end of the video, I was already wearing my fully mounted pack. If I know anyone else who needs a quick and helpful rundown, I'll definitely send em here!
Yeah haslab made that look easy the fullsize spirt holloween ghostbusters proton pack doesn't have those holes all ready made for the Alice frame you actually have to line up the frame and drill out the area where the brackets go making this more challenging
Unfortunately the real deal Alice frames be it LC1 or LC2 will not work without some modifications. The civi versions of the Alice frames like rothco will work just fine tho. I have an Lc2 and the middle horizontal bar is not aligned to the holes for the screws, and the bars are a millimeter too wide for the supplied brackets. You could file down the bar quite easily though, but the crossbar will still be an issue.

Thank you for the video. Helped out a lot. I just so happened to get exactly the right frame without knowing it.
Glad it helped!
Yes! Much appreciated, thanks!

Thanks for this!
I have a have the lc2 so I feel better to hear you say that
Has it worked?
@@Kalaida nope I had to swap it for a lc-1 the brackets don't fit over the bars and some holes don't line up

Sorry to hear that. I know that most of the Alice frames are compatible You just may have to find different hardware that wasn't supplied to you.
Nice video! FYI there is no link in the description for the frame.
