BDG, any word on a tuning and/or muffling video soon?
I have an entire video written on this topic, the only issue has been finding an entire bassline that needs to be remuffled for the video footage, but I'm working on it!

Honestly, I've been doing percussion for six years now and I'd consider myself fairly good at it, yet it's still so educational to watch basics videos like this. Especially how you describe it, explaining exactly what something is instead of "hey this is what this is, memorize it." (which is how I was taught). I think I'll show this to my sister who's just starting out with percussion, hopefully it'll help her. BDG, you are insanely awesome and these videos are amazing and so educational. Keep it up!
Honestly, yes. I taught percussion for seven years. I've taught brand-new high school lines, state-champion high school lines, open-class WGI groups, and in all that time I never thought to describe bass splits as anything other than "it's just eighth notes with extra beats." This channel has really elevated my thinking of how to teach not just bass drums, but percussion in general.

Can you guys make a video on how to build up hand speed?
I need you to do a time keeping video on the field and warmups(visual and by listening). There are so many different methods, but certain ones are necessary at times.
