Lenovo ThinkPad T460s - one of the best ultrabooks even in 2019?

  • Here's a review of one of the most popular and reliable compact 14" ultrabooks, the now 3-year old ThinkPad T460s.
It's true that there are already 2 successors on the market, the T470s and T480s, but I think it still is one of main contenders in the 14" ultrabooks battle.
The main specs of the laptop I've tested are: Intel® Core™ i7-6600U 2.60GHz, Skylake, 14" Full HD IPS display, 8GB RAM, 192GB SSD.
    Enjoy!

I have just bought a reconditioned T460s with an NVMe SSD, i5 processor, 12gb ram which i am using for work and runs just as fast as my most recent laptop i have. Considering this laptop is 4+ years old, i'm very impressed and (apart from a couple of surface marks) looks brand new

With a smart card you usually need a proprietary client that gives a handshake to all access.
This was at least how my Fujitsu lifebook was years ago.
I've just received a new L13 Yoga thinkpad and I spec it with the smart card reader also as I want use it.
