My theory is Vernestra trained Qimir as a Jedi, Sol was a Sith who seduced Qimir to the dark side and his first mission was to kill Vernestra and he failed. She used her lightsaber whip and that’s where his scar comes from. She then assumes he’s dead. Something then happens with Sol and Vernestra erases his memories like what happened to Revan. So when Qimir refers to Sol’s past and asks if he remembers him, it’s because of their past together. I think Sol’s emotion after losing everyone and Qimir putting thoughts in his head has lead to him becoming emotionally compromised and that blinded him in the force which is why he couldn’t sense Mae. He’s probably even having some visions of his past that made him avoid the Jedi at the end. Then beyond then it’s leading up to Qimir wanting Sol to admit he’s wrong for sending children into battle like Jecki and just like himself when he fought Vernestra. I was also thinking maybe they could be brothers.
Last two episodes have been a major upgrade. There’s so much potential for the ending now which I hope delivers. Either way I hope the backlash won’t make them completely avoid Qimir in future because I really love the character and can see so much potential. Manny Jacinto has absolutely killed it. Lee Jung-Jae has also killed it. The way two episodes suddenly make us all think maybe everyone is on the dark side is crazy. First four episodes honestly could’ve been condensed into ten minutes and like you said the last two episodes were episodes one and two. Ahsoka was the same for me. Poor start, but ended well. Maybe they just need to drop to 3-5 episodes for their shows from now on.

@@persephone342 Yeah I think an interesting twist with Sol could really be the lynchpin for the shows success. Because if it’s end she’ll of course people will want more. It’s just about how much damage has been caused by the review bombers.
@@archerpool Exactly! All the review bombing was insane! We’re on episode 2 and people have already decided that it’s “horrible” and “ruining Star Wars!” This show is finally bringing something new and different. We’re all wondering what happened on Brendock that night lol! Even the haters are grudge watching with their mouths mostly shut like I told some of them this would happen and it’s a trap set by Leslie against that side of fandom. I warned them and I checked the lore too and nothing was broken. I’ve enjoyed the show, and I can’t wait to binge it! I think it will be way better to and we can even switch episodes around and see a different show
@@persephone342 It’s funny watching CZcamsrs who hate for the sake of hating where their impatience is exposed. Moments where they complain something hasn’t happened and then five seconds later it happens, but they complain somehow. I’ve seen comments on videos with thousands of likes and hundreds of replies agreeing about not even watching Star Wars anymore, just watching videos complaining and blindly agreeing without having their own opinion. Honestly I think they could release a film and they’d hate it no matter what then a day later George Lucas would say he actually wrote it and they’d all pull the biggest U-turn ever.
