I'll keep my 2024 Santa Cruz SEL over the constant recalls of the Maverick. A much nicer vehicle,better handling better riding and if I want a true pick-up I'll drive my 2016 F150 XLT Sport with a tuned 5.0 six speed and electric locker 373 gears. The Maveric has been recal after recal.
I see nothing in the refresh that motivates me to purchase other than the larger LCD display, and a few things (which you mentioned) that cause me concern. Those rims are definite deal breaker. Ugly ain’t worth the extra 1/2 mpg.
I don't like the way the bumper cover swoops up into the head light space or the black disc wheels. I will keep my 2023 Lariat with black appearance package in Alto Blue thank you.
I think the biggest issues also going to be the paint at the bottom that's going to paint chips so bad The plastic is where it's at way better for rock chips
@@gotembro Agreed. This is a pickup truck and will be subjected to more abuse than a luxury car. The ritzy monochromatic paint scheme is nice but the plastic is more sustainable. Let's not try to make a silk purse out of a sous ear all that lipstick on the pig.

This is the ford maverick lariat 2025 without Black black appearance package we don't know if it will be offered or what. These are just spy photos
