After waking up from the mind melding between Raleigh and Mako, the two energizes Gypsy once again except this time, it's with Mako. And the two successfully manage to allow Gypsy Danger to maneuver. But as Stacker is about to watch Gypsy from the technician room's large window any further, Hermann intercepted Stacker and informs him that Newton had stubbornly drift with his Kaiju brain in the lab.
Stacker quickly followed Hermann to the laboratory where Newton is known to have survived the overflowed mind meld with a living Kaiju brain. But still suffering from minor nosebleeding and a bloodshot to the left eye. Which recovers as time passes on as well. Stacker tries to calm Newton down shortly and politely asks for what he saw in the neural link between him and the brain.
Newton discovered that these Kaijus aren't creatures that would emerge from the Earth's molten core through a mystical portal. They do, but rather, they're extra-terrestrial beasts that comes from an alternate dimension. They're colonists and they're life motives is to attack Earth and it's natives. It was revealed that the Kaiju attacks are indeed dated under orders.
That their masters, known as Precursors, are the ones in-charge of this overflowed rampage. And now that Newton has melded his mind with a Kaiju, he is in big trouble. As the Kaijus are known to possess a hive mind. So they all communicate with their minds. So one Kaiju can see what other hundreds of Kaiju are thinking, doing, etc.
Others possess the same neural ability. And now that Newton has communicated with a living fresh brain of the Kaiju's, the Kaiju now knows the plans that humanity has been doing to prevent this Kaijus from devastating Earth's population. And for a fact that all the Kaijus are indeed clones of each other. Just that each one possess different sizes and abilites.
After Newton had reached the climax of what he had learnt about the Kaijus, Stacker asks Newton to get more information about what these Kaijus are and the unknown secrets they hold. Newton is afraid that the Kaiju brain he used has been used up and he believes that if he had to continue, he needs another new fresh Kaiju brain.
Then we jump to the part where Gypsy collides her fist with her palm. And...to be continued.
I hope this really satisfies you people. I love this movie so much that I'm doing this for you all. And probably for me...anyways! Thanks for watching! Don't forget to comment, like, add to favourites, share and subscribe for more Pacific Rim!! Bye.

What makes "Pacific Rim" better than most action films. In most action films the doctor would have run up saying something vague "You need to see this" then the camera would zoom in on Pentacost's face while a scare chord plays.
Instead the doctor just says what just happened, because its already interesting in its own right as a concept, and we get to see everyone's reaction to it.

As much as I loved Raleigh and Mako and the Jaegers, Newton and Gottelieb were pretty much the foreground/background heroes in this movie. Reasoning is because Gottelieb was able to calculate the arrival of three kaijus and Newton literally digging into the mind of the kaiju brain itself. Together however they managed to calculate how to enter the breach to destroy it.

I always wondered what the phrase “…it was the dinosaurs.” would actually mean. Either:

End of the world horror stuff tends to take precedence during political unrest. Films about AI taking over are, I'd argue, indicative of a societal fear of the working class realizing it can seize society for itself and cast off the ultra rich owning class.

Not to mention if newt really was controlled all along by the precursors, he wouldn’t have helped the jaeger pilots in the first movie. Plus it was really fucking stupid that trying to get a creepy reaction from the audience by having newt “marry” a kaiju brain and having brain sex with it, but it comes out not only gross, but very comedically dumb...

Plus, they’re not that big and come to various sizes limited to the size of a large house, while big predators are as long as a bus. And as stated by Newton, the Kaiju are unable to adapt on prehistoric Earth because it wasn’t polluted enough for them, so the Kaiju didn’t thrive in the Mesozoic Era.

Granted that fossil was named "megalosaurus" in 1824 but Darwin had nothing to do with it. I learned this from less than 30 seconds on Google. And dinosaurs did have feathers, not like birds today but more like a mix between hair and the feathers on today's birds. Dinosaurs have been found with these primitive feathers and some of those who haven't have been found with nodes on their arm bones showing that they had arm feathers. If you use logic instead of conspiracy theories, you could infer that the rest of the animals had at least some feather coverage too.
