Title says it all. A progressive full range warm up for baritone range singers. Starts easy enough with some gentle descending scales, quickly moves on to smooth and somewhat faster arpeggio/scale combos. Finishes up with some lip trill, range development exercises and pure vowel exercises in the upper register.
Enjoy!
WHY would anybody pit a thumbs down when all you are doing is trying to help people improve their voice ?
Thank you for your kind words! I truly am trying to help.
Thanks for watching!
All the best,

I'm a Broadway actor/singer and I have to say this warmup is perfect. I was getting a bit bored with my old warmup recording and so I went searching and am so glad I found this. Thank you so much Jeff!
thanks for the feedback! We've been looking for a good/interesting vocal warmup routine. :)
@@thefigurinesband huh?
@@that_martin_dude8300 yes sir! Just started using it though, so don't expect to hear the results on any of our records for a while, though. Very good warmup though, makes singing 10x easier! :D

Just sing “How deep is your love” from the Bee Gees and you have your baritone warm-up done 😁👍
Ok that's impossible.
I've been "trying" to practice singing. I was *amazed* as I tried this.... and found my throat/voice-muscles simply getting exhausted. .... I mean......... I "FELT" it......... as I tried this exercise. .... *Very* *Humbling*
Just gonna say, You've increased my chest vocal range from A2-F4 to G2-E5 with your tenor warm up too! I also trained my falsetto to an Eb6 which I'm pretty proud of :))) Thank you so much!
You're very welcome! Great work!
Jeff
That's ur chest plus mix range btw. Ur chest range probably ends around A3 or so before u move into ur mix
@@truckstopburrito4200 probably in the 4th octave
@@truckstopburrito4200 It ends at the A4 in my chest range, my falsetto goes up to A5 :)
Also I still come here to practice :)
@@truckstopburrito4200 My mixed vocals sound absolute awful x)
I stumbled across this after losing my normal warm up audio and I have to say this is possibly the best Baritone warm up I've tried. I absolutely loved it. So much fun!
That's great to hear! Enjoy the channel, there's lots of various warm ups and exercises in a variety of ranges. Thanks for your kind words and taking the time to comment.
All the best!
Jeff
I just lost mine today and I'm glad this one exists, if I can't recover mine!
I’m a teenager going through his voice change right now. I struggled finding audition pieces because I was stuck somewhere between tenor and baritone. Now that my voice is a lot lower, this warmup is so great for me!
Same here man. 16
Im almost done im 17 about to be 18 its tough being a teen singer but ive gained so much range
You are for sure the only Teacher on youtube, to care for the Baritones & actually offer us a Lesson that it's within a reasonable range! Some other Videos take the Baritone Scales to D5! :O What do they think we are? lol!! XD Again thank you!! Maybe one day we can colab~ I don't mean me singing.. I'm just a beginner.. Anything else though could end up being fun! ;)
You're welcome! Thanks again for your kind words and getting in touch! I'm glad that the baritone range on my channel is working well for you. I have to admit, while I've done quite a lot of videos on singing on CZcams, I haven't watched that many.
Enjoy exploring the channel! If you find you have questions, feel free to leave a comment or join me on Saturdays for my live Q & A. Here's a link for this week's event:

range in this was just perfect for me too!!
Thank you for your kind words! I'm really glad you're finding the lessons useful. Gotta love the Baritones!!
Best,
Jeff
Hey btw. can ou tell me whats the stereotypical range for baritone like whats the lowest sound and whats the difference to bass range... and can i get my voice lower.... cause some say that yes and some say that no. So if you can clear thsis
to me i would be very glad
Mä voin vastata suomeksi, nimimerkin perusteella.
Perinteinen Baritonin ääniala on G2-G4.
I just realized i'm a baritone. Not bass. Thanks
That is so far from bass🤣
@@maredyt5168 bruh I didn't know where my voice was at...lol
Mared YT Actually it’s not that far at all, considering Baritone is sometimes referred to as Bass 1.
and i thought i was tenor
Same!😂
Me a baritone that covers 3 and a half octaves. Finally found a warm up i dont have to change😭😭😭 ty! This one is so fun and comfortable
Ah... those were the days! Because, of course, there is so much use for all those extra notes! I could really piss off some sopranos. (Which is not difficult to do).
when Jeff says nice and smooth but you’re on a bumpy road
I’ve been singing along to this around 3 or 4 times per week for the last year. My voice is so much stronger and my technique is much improved too; thanks Jeff. Great video 👍🏻
Since employing your vocal techniques, my voice have significantly improved..
More baritone stuff please, really liked this video.
Absolutely. Feel free to look through the warm up playlist too:

Hey Jeff. I’ve been recording my debut solo album these last few months and had hit a brick wall recording the vocals. I just couldn’t get the sound I was after. After using your warmups before every recording session, I’ve managed to knock out the album vocals in under a week. I can’t thank you enough.
I love it! I love hearing experiences like yours! Great work and congratulations on your album! I'd love to have a listen, send a link if you have a moment when it's done and dusted!
Best!
Jeff
@@JeffRolka I'm taking my time till it's good and ready... Still using your videos before every vocals session. Will send you a download link when it's ready!
This is fabulous. I am going to share it with my son. He is not currently taking voice lessons. He sang bass all through high school then his voice teacher was sure he was a tenor and tried to groom him in that direction. Although he has the range, the richness of the baritone is so beautiful. He also did some musical theater which aimed more at the tenor as well. He said it hurt his voice to stay up there all the time. He will like this.
Awesome!!! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for watching too!!!
Jeff
Ughhh thats almost a crime to force the child to go behond his vocal range.. 😤😢
This warm up is a gift. Gets me right into the comfort zone with the low end of my voice. Thanks so much, Jeff!
I really appreciate the work that Jeff Rolka has put into this warm up for baritone video. As someone who has sang in bands forever (35 years), I was too proud to go get vocal lessons. This is the perfect thing for me. I just sing along with a few of his warmup videos on the way to the gig and by the time I hit the stage, my voice is warmed up. Makes a HUGE difference.
“Put your pride aside & let Rolka be your guide”. The Dude RULEZ! 🎤🎼💪😎👍
I love it! Thank you for watching and thanks for your kind words! I'm really glad that the videos are helping!
Best,

I use this warm-up every day. I am a college opera student and due to the virus, I haven't been able to go to school so I use this sequence every day before I work on my literature!
Very helpful i received a lot of compliments from women saying that i got a sexy voice ever since started to do low notes/ baritone vocal exercices. Thank you for this video!

I can’t even describe how your warm ups have helped me grow as a singer. It continues to challenge me even after months of doing it almost everyday.
This is my "go-to" warmup--thanks again, Jeff. You're a godsend.
I really appreciate this warm-up
This is the best warm up video out there thank you I always looked for them but no one actually spent the time to go through it slowly like you thanks
really digging this warm-up! it's great for my range and makes me feel really primed to sing. challenging and helpful. thanks for your work.
Thank you very very much Jeff! This is amazing!
Thank you for your generosity Jeff!
Thanks so much for these videos. They are the best vocal warm ups on youtube. I go through this one and the tenor one thrice a week. Thanks so much
Out of anything I’ve found here on CZcams, I’ve finally found a consistent and fitting video for my voice. Great for when I’m on my way to work :) thanks!!
Been practicing 5 times a week since I've discovered you! Part of my morning routine now :) Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for all these lessons Jeff, really helpful stuff!!!
Jeff, thank you so much for this. Going to use this instead of my other warmups/scales. I really appreciate the time you took to make it. Very helpful. You rock!
Love these baritone warm-ups, thank you, Jeff!
Phenomenal and immensely effective Jeff!
I’ve been taking lessons for a year and this has helped a lot with keeping a relaxed jaw and open throat. Thank you for creating this lesson!
This feels really good as a warm up, thank you!
.... and once again I use this warm up to make me fit for the band this evening ... thank you!
From chill to real with the Maestro, Jeff Rolka. Thanks for all your great videos! They are the best I've found on CZcams and extremely helpful for the dudes requiring low notes.
Thank you!
Jeff
Thanks. Just getting back into a regular practice. This warm-up stretched me, but I can see it will strengthen me as I practice. Cheers.
best warm ups on CZcams!!! thanx a lot, Jeff!!!
You have literily changed my life with singing. Ty so much!
I use this every day on my way to work. Helps a lot !
After doing this + more of your warmups and exercises every day I've gotten a much better voice and grown to know it alot better! Will keep this up, thanks alot Jeff!
amazing... I had difficulties for some time with my range and I had no idea why, I guess all I needed is a good warm up for my original scale, thank you!!!
I sang in a classical choir for quite some time as a baritone - and it's been a number of years since I last had the opportunity to sing at all (outside of my apartment, or at karaoke that is)... so it's a pleasure to have this video to work with to re-build lost range! So grateful that this is available on CZcams! Thank you so much!
I improved more as a singer because of you! Thank you Jeff!
Thank you Jeff for this lesson. You're an amazing vocal coach.
Best Baritone vocal warm up I've found so far, thanks again!
Fantastic! Really glad you like it!
Jeff
I've been warming up to this before song leading at church for about four years. Thank you!!
THIS IS A GREAT VIDEO. I feel as if you were listening to me!!! Great job!
I've been using your tenor and beritone warm-up for years. Thank you so much for helping progress my voice and allowing me to perform/record vocals with much greater ease. All the best to you!
Wonderful!
Jeff. You crushed it. This is the best warmup I’ve ever done. I’ll be giving this vid a lot of views from now.
This is the best warm up exercise I've ever done. Thank you.
Thank you for this. As a baritone and possibly bass I have had issues finding videos that work for me. I love pushing my upper register but its nice to have exercises in my proper range. Even my last vocal coach, wonderful lady that she was, was like 2 octaves above me and often had to compensate.
Thanks for the baritone warm up lesson and for not taking 2 or 3 minutes to tell us you're are, and getting right to it. 🙏👍😎
This has to be the best baritone vocal warm up on CZcams!
Thank you Jeff for this upload, really appreciate it!
All the best for you!
Thank you very much! I'm glad you enjoy the warm-up! Thanks for watching, thanks for your kind words and thanks for leaving a comment! I hope to see you around the channel again!

Thanks Jeff. I've been out of practice with my voice for Almost 30 years. I can see it coming back. I will most definitely use your techniques from here on out.
Thank you!!! I have a song to record Saturday and I’m so out of vocal shape, but I did the limited range warm up every other day for a week or so and now I’m doing this one and I feel so much more prepared already 🥰
Nice work! Keep it up and best of luck recording!

Jeff, thank you very much for the videos. Am enjoying a safe and productive warm up everyday before I sing. I’m between a baritone and tenor. So will usually warm up a little more, touching higher notes after going through yours. Thanks. God bless!
Love these videos!! I had strained my voice and I needed to start slowly warming up and I started doing the morning warm ups and this one and it helped me get my voice back. Thank you!
Thank you so much for these wonderful lessons!

Thats Jeff for your maverick You Tube vocal expertise/ skills that you graciously give to me and others.
Such an amazing warm up! I'm not a singer, just an actor who can carry a tune, but I love using this on the way to every audition. Thank you so much for your work and for sharing!

Excellent! I'm very glad to hear that!

I shall now comment after using this warm up a few times in an attempt to regain a voice neglected for lack of a reason to use it. Thank you. I know how important comments and thumbs up or down are for making SOME sort of income from Google Ad Sense. Good work.
Thank you for that! You are of course, correct! I appreciate your taking the time!
Jeff
Jeff the last part of this video has been pure magic for me. After practising it for a while I realized that going trough the "passagio" is an act of giving. One part of the voice (one group of muscles) gives something to the other part of the voice (another group of muscles). It requieres confidence/trust and courage, from both groups. I had read the theory, but know I have experienced it and it was fantastic. Thanks!
Fantastic! Absolutely right on! Bravo!!!!
Jeff
Bro that is so true!!!
I sing in a men’s chorus, and often times due to work, I will miss the warm up at the very start of rehearsals, and I decided to go to CZcams to see if I could find a great baritone warm-up, and I happened across this video. I love this warm-up! I play it in my car as I’m driving to rehearsal to warm-up. I play it sometimes in the morning when I know I have to do a lot of speaking, just to get everything flowing. Jeff, you have an awesome warm-up here! Look forward to see what else you have to offer! And I have shared this with the chorus members I sing with. :)
