    Title says it all. A progressive full range warm up for baritone range singers. Starts easy enough with some gentle descending scales, quickly moves on to smooth and somewhat faster arpeggio/scale combos. Finishes up with some lip trill, range development exercises and pure vowel exercises in the upper register.
    Enjoy!

      to me i would be very glad

    • @kipponi
      @kipponi Před 7 lety +2

      Mä voin vastata suomeksi, nimimerkin perusteella.
      Perinteinen Baritonin ääniala on G2-G4. Äänityyppejä on Lyyrinen ja dramaattinen baritoni klassisessa musiikissa.
      Äänialaa voi todellakin kasvattaa helpommin ylöspäin kuin alaspäin.
      Itse olen baritoni ja saan vielä melko huom! kuuluvan äänen E2.
      Hiljempaa( ei voimakas ääni) olen päässyt C2.
      Eli siis todellinen ääniala on se mikä on ns. vahva ja kuuluva ääni.
      Vinkumalla sitä pääsee todella korkealle, mutta laulamistahan se ei ole.
      Muista vielä, että basso tai tenori niin ei siinä montaa nuottia eroa ole baritoniin näiden eri äänityyppien välillä.
      Baritoninikin voi laulaa tenorin ylä-ääniä treenaamalla.
      Tenori ei taas koskaan pääse baritonin mataliin ääniin.

    This is fabulous. I am going to share it with my son. He is not currently taking voice lessons. He sang bass all through high school then his voice teacher was sure he was a tenor and tried to groom him in that direction. Although he has the range, the richness of the baritone is so beautiful. He also did some musical theater which aimed more at the tenor as well. He said it hurt his voice to stay up there all the time. He will like this.

    Jeff, thank you very much for the videos. Am enjoying a safe and productive warm up everyday before I sing. I’m between a baritone and tenor. So will usually warm up a little more, touching higher notes after going through yours. Thanks. God bless!

    I shall now comment after using this warm up a few times in an attempt to regain a voice neglected for lack of a reason to use it. Thank you. I know how important comments and thumbs up or down are for making SOME sort of income from Google Ad Sense. Good work.

    Jeff the last part of this video has been pure magic for me. After practising it for a while I realized that going trough the "passagio" is an act of giving. One part of the voice (one group of muscles) gives something to the other part of the voice (another group of muscles). It requieres confidence/trust and courage, from both groups. I had read the theory, but know I have experienced it and it was fantastic. Thanks!

    I sing in a men’s chorus, and often times due to work, I will miss the warm up at the very start of rehearsals, and I decided to go to CZcams to see if I could find a great baritone warm-up, and I happened across this video. I love this warm-up! I play it in my car as I’m driving to rehearsal to warm-up. I play it sometimes in the morning when I know I have to do a lot of speaking, just to get everything flowing. Jeff, you have an awesome warm-up here! Look forward to see what else you have to offer! And I have shared this with the chorus members I sing with. :)
